What to See and Do in Niagara Falls

"On our final day, Harper's words not to forget the falls were on my mind, so we headed back to where our journey began. We were ready for some downtime, so we booked sessions in the Hydrotherapy Infinity tub at Christienne Fallsview Spa. As I sank into the steaming waters and stared at the falls and the gardens that surround them, I thought of the little girl who'd once underappreciated this gem. No longer. This, I thought as the bubbles worked their magic, was the postcard memory I came for." - Travel + Leisure Editors

my husband and I went yesterday for massages to celebrate his birthday, it was such a wonderful experience. when life is busy it's hard to slow down and this spa let us do exactly that, sat and relaxed with tea and a view, I had a hot stone massage and my husband and deep tissue. highly reccomended

Google
Great facilities - MAGNIFICENT view of the falls in their lounge. You can see both American and Horseshoe falls while sipping their excellent selection of teas. My wife and I got the Swedish massage when we visited, and our technicians Shasteen and Jash were wonderful. Very professional, very skilled, and the customer service is impeccable.

Jenelle is awesome! I booked a Swedish massage followed by pedicure and the whole experience was totally great. She gave a great balance of relaxing spa vibe with down-to-earth understanding. The spa itself was clean and welcoming. Beautiful views of course. Would definitely book again.

I recently had the pleasure of being treated by Shasteen at the Fallsview Spa, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. From the moment the session began, she made me feel completely at ease. Her attentiveness and professionalism were evident throughout, and she had an intuitive understanding of what I needed to feel truly relaxed. Shasteen’s calming presence and skilled technique created an atmosphere of total comfort so much so that I found myself completely at peace throughout the treatment. It was a truly rejuvenating experience, and one I would recommend to anyone looking for genuine care and relaxation. Thank you, Shasteen, for making my visit to the spa so memorable. I’ll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful mother-daughter pedicure experience at this beautiful spa. The atmosphere was serene, elegant, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Shasteen was an absolute delight—fun, charismatic, and made us laugh throughout the session. Jash brought a calm, soothing presence that made the experience even more peaceful. The perfect balance of energy and relaxation! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable and rejuvenating spa visit.

Loved the view, atmosphere, and staff. The hydrotherapy tub overlooking the falls is absolutely unmatched. After a 55 minute massage I was fortunate enough to enjoy a 20 minute hydrotherapy session. Incredible. Whilst in the spa you can enjoy included refreshments and fruit. Along with access to their sauna and steam room. If you ever wanted to feel pampered, this is the place for you.

Today I enjoyed a wonderful 85 min. Relaxation Massage with aromatherapy from Jason followed by a beautiful Farmhouse Facial with Liz. The view here is absolutely breathtaking and customer service top notch. I appreciate the offer and choices for loose leaf tea after my treatment while I took in the view. It's a bonus to come here off season, when its quieter, and you will feel like a Queen in her castle! Thanks to the warm reception from Holly too!

Yelp
The Christienne Fallsview Spa is located within the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel in Niagara Falls. The one of a kind hydrotherapy infinity tub is situated in a quiet and private treatment room that directly overlooks the falls. The tub's cascading water and soothing atmosphere are enhanced by the spa's signature view of the falls, making it an unforgettable experience.

Yelp
Pros: Maya was a wonderful nail technician. My pedicure was nice and lasted a full hour. Things to be aware of: 1. For $75 the pedicure does not include polish. 2. If you think you are going to be able to relax with your spouse at the spa for a few hours before/after your service, this place is not really set up for that. Even though all the pictures make it look like there is a hot tub overlooking the falls, there is not. There is a tub...but it is $90 for 25 minutes. The steam and sauna are separated by locker rooms. The ONLY thing you can do with your spouse outside of a paid treatment is sit in the lobby area. Just be aware so that you are not as disappointed as we were.

Yelp
My husband and I came here for a side by side massage. The RMT here had great techniques and I would definitely come back again. The spa itself was a bit small but very clean and had a great view (since it's on a higher floor).

Yelp
We got 55 minutes couple massage session, honestly I didn't feel like 55 minutes maybe 30 min max and my mistake was didn't time them. Overpaid for sure for 2 people bill came to 350.

Yelp
Booked a last minute trip to Niagara Falls. Looked at spas both cheaper and expensive, near and farther away from the main attraction. Most were booked right through to next week. Asked my husband to call Sheraton to see if they had an opening, well, they did, talked me through the service very politely and no hassle to book me in for the last hour. Love that I get walk and do what people in Niagara Falls, then, come here, take a shower, spend time in the steam room and/or sauna, sip a cup of tea overlooking the falls, then have my massage. It was a solid 55 minute massage by Tatyana, whom I wish would read this because she is very skilled and professional. She applied the appropriate pressure on the most accurate places of my body. I thought 55 minutes would not be enough to target everything that I told her regarding my aches. I thought there is no time, but she targeted all four areas of my body. The best feeling is when I felt that I had enough of the massage (knots melted away already) and there was still extra time! I did not want a couples massage because heck, it was a much needed massage therapy and I want to de-stress alone. The staff did not gave me strange looks (not that I was aware of) for insisting on this and had a great time. They gave me a receipt and I am hoping to claim it for insurance. So we will see.

Yelp
I came from out of the town and was staying at the Sheraton so my friend & I decided to treat ourselves trio package which included a 25 minute relaxation massage, a spa pedicure & manicure. Upon arrival, I was offered comfortable flip flops and were shown to the change room. The employee explained that there is a steam room & sauna. Lockers were assigned and you carried around the key card while you got your services. We were a bit early for our appointment so our two attendants offered to start us off early. We got our massages done in one room so that was nice. The attendants offered to open the blinds for us, but it was a bit pointless as you're facing down. Even though my time slot was brief, they still spent some time on my neck as requested. It was clarified that this was a relaxation massage which I didn't mind as this is standard for spa work. We then moved out into the common area for pedicures in the tubs which face Niagara Falls. Such a nice view. We were offered a delicious tea menu & were given OPI swatches to choose our colours. The pedicure was quite detailed and involved a nice scrub. The chairs also have heat & light massage controls. We then moved to the adjacent manicure tables to get our manicures. Mine was done quite well and not rushed at all, even though we went slightly over time. I think the ambiance alone is worth getting a treatment done here. You are welcomed quite nicely and I'm satisfied with the quality of the work.

Yelp
Really nice Spa Set-Up! Cute and Small! For a Spa the noise level was a little Loud then the norma! The Overall Spa Experience was Awesome and One of Kind! Kudos To My 45 Birthday Weekend in Niagara Falls, ON!

Yelp
The professionalism and accommodation of the staff here is amazing. What started out as an exciting day to celebrate my biryhday got turned around by late arrival due to traffic and poor directions that included lots of waiting in traffic and frustration. When I arrived i was exhausted and frustrated, but the staff was superb and restored me back to my calm self within minutes of finally arriving. Liz was wunderful and the manager, was very kind and accommodating, making my worries of missing out for my birthday treat all for not. The views from this spa are amazing and the staff is wonderful, highly recommended to anyone looking for a little spoil time. You will not be dissapointed..

Yelp
I was given a gift card for Christmas and I finally got a chance to enjoy it. I decided to have a facial. I booked online and was asked for credit card info to hold reservation. Which is a usual request. I then explained that I would give my credit card but I had a gift card for $ 100 and would pay the rest in cash. Glad I mentioned it because I was informed they do not take cash or debit (that's all I usually use...so glad I mentioned it!) I was informed to arrive 15 minutes early. I wish that someone had warned me it's a maze trying to get to the spa! I parked in the Sheraton parking lot... $25 btw! And proceeded to get totally lost. I ended up in wrong elevators and had to ask about 5 people how to get there! Ughhh. By the time I got to the spa I was beyond stressed as I was not 15 minutes early but 15 minutes LATE!! The receptionist was very kind....and said I could still have the facial but it wouldn't be as long. My facial was lovely..relaxing and my skin feels and looks amazing. Gorgeous setting overlooking the falls. Would go again..now that I have an idea where to go!!

Yelp
Okay, so my experience of the spa is not as bad as Linda M's! In fact, I am pleased to say that I had a great time here and what made it more special was that my bf had surprised me with a Couples Massage and HydraTherapy Pool experience. When we first arrived, we were greeted by a friendly hostess. We were then led to our change rooms and because it wasn't busy, I had the whole room to myself. There are lockers and keys. I noticed there was a sauna, shower room, and one toilet (so hence, if it is busy, beware). Also, I noticed that there were sample-sized shampoos, soaps, conditioners, and bottles of water for you to use - complimentary! This is great if you are not staying at this hotel, but want to change, you do not have to bring toiletries. Once my bf and I were out of the change room, we were led to seats which had a great and expansive window view of the falls. I just sat there mesmerized. There was tranquil spa music and I dozed off...soon to be awakened by our massage therapists. My masseuse was AMAZING! She kneaded all my sore spots (on my back) and did not talk. She went right into the massage session. We also had our feet wrapped in wax (and then put in a plastic bag)...that I could have done without...nothing special. After the massage, my bf and I went into a room with one tub that overlooked the falls again. The lady explained that this tub did not have very strong bubbles, but more "Champagne Bubbles." She also said that our tub session would last for 25 minutes, but we could stay longer if we wanted. Finally, she said that we could lock the door from the inside...I am not sure how clean that tub is, but I know for a fact that most couples ... We were also given a little snack which was welcome after the massage. Total damage for this package was $290 including tax and tip. FYI - You can book RMT or non-RMT massage therapists, which will obviously affect the price. Second, my bf thought that the hydrotherapy pool was included in the couple massage package, but it was actually an extra $40. Read carefully, because in my opinion, sitting in a cramped tub is something I can do without. Definitely will return I also took advantage of taking some extra bottles of water and shampoo from the change room (make every dollar count!!!)

Yelp
Mediocre. Spa common area was well stocked . Very relaxing with beautiful music and a faux fireplace. Staff nice for the most part. Steam, sauna and jacuzzi all Luke warm. We paid to use them . Bummer. Check their temp. Before you pay to use. Gym very nice. Over all a nice experience.

Yelp
Scam place. The massage was okay except: They tell you they have RMTs and that you will get an insurance receipt. However they don't actually give you the receipt. And then you keep asking about it, they don't respond to emails, and they respond like this: "Good morning Unfortunately your massages were preformed by spa therapists. The Simply Us package is two relaxation massages and not stress relief massages (RMT) I do apologize that no one has returned your previous emails - I will definitely look into this to see why your email was not answered previous to this. Please call me directly if you have any questions - thank you for your patience and again I do apologize for this inconvenience.. Diana Venturini Spa Director 905.374.4555 ext 4555" This is after we confirmed that we would get the receipts for our insurance. So basically we wasted the money that we were supposed to get back. And they lied to us. Why would they tell us it was covered and then, later on, tell us it's not? They told us they were RMTs and they actually weren't....? Suspicious....... And the parking. Seriously, $25 parking? That does not seem fair. Honestly it just seems like we were ripped off. The massage was decent but I would NOT recommend this place as they are unprofessional.

Yelp
Staff and atmosphere were nice enough but not worth the money. The 4 man hot tub was ok but the steam and sauna are set to max Temps that are ridiculous waste of time. 109 degrees when it should be 120 and above. Rendered them unless.

Yelp
Great couples massage. Take time to enjoy spectacular view. Ladies steam & sauna not hot though. Very clean. Excellent staff

Yelp
I stayed at Sheraton on the Falls Hotel & wanted to spend the day with my girlfriends at the spa. On the 14th floor is this Spa, however, they are a separate company & definitely do not operate the way the hotel does. I went for a massage, a body treatment scrub, manicure, pedicure & so did my friends. The Spa is poorly ran & very unprofessional. It's a very small space with 1 available shower (with dirty shower heads & tiled floor filled with grime), they are late to start your appointment & don't compensate for lost time. If you are going for a 1 hour massage, you will only actually get a 35 minute massage even though you paid for the full hour. They don't offer water, or tea or coffee, although they had the machines on a counter, they weren't plugged in or turned on. The Director Kimberley was extremely unprofessional. She said to her staff in front of 5 clients in the waiting room "housekeeping hasn't been here in 2 weeks but ladies [staff] it's your job to clean the area once you are finished with it, if you didn't know that now you do". Everyone in the room looked disgusted & freaked out. Kimberley then offered tea to one of the ladies, and then disappeared & the lady never got her tea. Throughout the entire experience I could hear Kimberley yelling at staff & being overall a negative and aggressive energy when I'm trying to relax. The massage was OK - they massage therapist talked during most of my massage which wasn't relaxing and turned on the bright lights because she couldnt see what she was doing which was ridiculous. I asked my friends how their massages were & they all said the exact same thing, we all left pretty unhappy. 2 other ladies who were leaving seemed frustrated & 1 wanted her money back. Overall, unprofessional, not clean, no accommodations, you pay for 1 hour & get only 35 minutes. A total rip off. Don't bother giving this place money, you will leave upset.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton and chose this spa for an afternoon. The couples therapy included a 1 hour massage and a 25 minute soak in the hydro tub with dessert and refreshments. The view of the falls was great while soaking in the tub. The massage was also really good. My wife sprung for a facial at the end that she really enjoyed. I would return if in the area again.
