We stayed here 23 - 30 May 2025 on the second week of our holiday in Crete. A wonderful hotel in Nea Chora, Chania, right next to a beautiful beach. Our room was very comfortable indeed and had a marvellous balcony overlooking the beach (the balcony had no awning or sun umbrella but the very helpful staff put up a temporary sun umbrella so so we could get more use out of our balcony even when the sun was shining directly on it but a more permanent awning would be useful). The hotel is in the very pleasant Nea Chora district of Chania which has excellent restaurants as well as some very good bakeries and places that serve good quality souvlaki and gyros. The staff in the hotel were lovely and so helpful. As well as the superb beach, the outdoor swimming pool was excellent and very well maintained. This hotel was a little above our normal budget but well worth it - we had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel (which is on seafront in Nea Chora) is about a twenty minute walk from the old town and the Venetian port. There’s also a bus stop a few hundred metres from the hotel that has quite frequent buses that go to the outskirts of the old town and to many other locations. Taxis in Chania are quite reasonably priced but it’s worth noting that traffic can be quite heavy. The new archeological museum on the other side of town has a remarkable collection of antiquities, and its café terrace has wonderful views over the bay and towards the Venetian port.

Nothing to dislike about this place. Location perfect , but it’s the staff that work here who make it , nothing is too much trouble , they work tirelessly to keep everyone happy and the hotel, apartments and outside areas are kept so clean and tidy. I stayed in a studio and there was everything you needed in them. Beds comfortable , showers really nice and the views from balcony perfect , I slept with the balcony door slightly open so could sleep to sound of the waves. There was iron, hairdryer coffee machines lovely gesture of coffee / teas sweets etc . Such a lovely place and felt very safe as a solo traveler . I will definitely return

The review is about the beach restaurant of the hotel of the same name. They have very good food and decent prices. The special pizza is very good and the pork steak is huge, served with pita, salad and fries and costs only 14Euro. You have to order at a counter, where you pay immediately and you get an electronic device that you take with you to the table, or on the beach, which will vibrate and beep when the food is ready and you have to go and bring it to the table yourself. They also have pasta, club sandwiches, burgers, desserts and drinks.

The hotel has a good location – right by the beach and within walking distance of the town center, which is convenient for those who want to enjoy both the sea and city attractions. The reception staff were helpful and polite, and the cleaning service was reliable. Another plus is the gated parking, which feels safe and convenient. Unfortunately, the property itself is less impressive. The rooms and common areas are clearly outdated, and the facilities would benefit from renovation. Considering the price, the value is not the best – you can find newer or more interesting options in a similar budget. The infrastructure for children is also very limited and not particularly engaging, which may disappoint families with young kids. In summary – a hotel with a solid location and decent service, but one that falls short in terms of standard compared to what you’d expect in this price range.

In desperate need of a refurb. We had an air conditioning unit that was unresponsive and a very leaky shower that would pool with water outside eveytime you used it. (suite no. 1040) The shower unit also was positioned at an angle which meant you had to stand close to the door to clean yourself, very dated and tired. The saving grace is the location on a nice beachfront. The suite itself is in an awful position as it backs onto an residential alley which lead to dogs and locals keeping us up during the night. There is also a large auto floodlight to the side of the shower window outside in the alleyway which also flickers on and off during the night. We had the displeasure of builders waking us up at 8am one morning drilling outside our bedroom window as well. A very unrelaxing experience overall. We left a day early - Avoid

The hotel was beautiful the view breathtaking and the employees always with a smile! |The restaurant had excellent food, and huge portions almost on everything the price was cheap for the amount of food and the quality you got ! |The bar is peaceful and also has good prices. |George from there made us one of the best Irish coffee we ever had and some nice cocktails. |The experience was in total great |We suggest it with no second though !

This hotel is great place to stay. Four years in a row I spent my entire summer vacation in this hotel. The owners Christina and other staff like Alex are so kind and welcoming. I am very grateful for all their help and support.

This was our 2nd visit to his hotel. Again we stayed 7 nights in room 4020 on the top floor, (3rd floor) on the west side of the building. The room was spotlessly clean and serviced every day. It had all the facilities you would need if you wanted to do simple cooking. Our balcony had a sea view and being on the west of the building it was in shade in the morning for our coffee and we saw fantastic sun sets in the evening. There were a few hours, in the late afternoon when it was in the full sun and to hot to sit out. The room had a safe and good quiet A/C. All the staff were very friendly. There was a swimming pool that could be used in the adjacent Christina hotel. It's location meant that we had a 10 metre walk to be on the beach. Fantastic. ||It was lovely to sit on the terrace overlooking the beach with a cocktail in the evenings. ||Free parking is available on a first come basis in a small car park. A great hotel and we hope to return again
