Christina Beach

The hotel has a good location – right by the beach and within walking distance of the town center, which is convenient for those who want to enjoy both the sea and city attractions. The reception staff were helpful and polite, and the cleaning service was reliable. Another plus is the gated parking, which feels safe and convenient. Unfortunately, the property itself is less impressive. The rooms and common areas are clearly outdated, and the facilities would benefit from renovation. Considering the price, the value is not the best – you can find newer or more interesting options in a similar budget. The infrastructure for children is also very limited and not particularly engaging, which may disappoint families with young kids. In summary – a hotel with a solid location and decent service, but one that falls short in terms of standard compared to what you’d expect in this price range.

Lovely hotel, very clean, very friendly and helpful staff, great location only about a 15 min walk into Chania but some great restaurants close to the hotel too! Snack bar good and huge portions in my opinion! Secure luggage containers if you need them

This was our 2nd visit to his hotel. Again we stayed 7 nights in room 4020 on the top floor, (3rd floor) on the west side of the building. The room was spotlessly clean and serviced every day. It had all the facilities you would need if you wanted to do simple cooking. Our balcony had a sea view and being on the west of the building it was in shade in the morning for our coffee and we saw fantastic sun sets in the evening. There were a few hours, in the late afternoon when it was in the full sun and to hot to sit out. The room had a safe and good quiet A/C. All the staff were very friendly. There was a swimming pool that could be used in the adjacent Christina hotel. It's location meant that we had a 10 metre walk to be on the beach. Fantastic. ||It was lovely to sit on the terrace overlooking the beach with a cocktail in the evenings. ||Free parking is available on a first come basis in a small car park. A great hotel and we hope to return again

Lovely hotel set just off the beach. The rooms were a good size and were cleaned everyday. The staff were really helpful and friendly. ||Old town was 20 mins walk away but a taxi was only 6Euro early evening and 8 at midnight. There is also a bus stop nearby that's only 2e each. || The beach bar was excellent, the food and the prices were really good.||The beach was lovely but unless you got up early and put towels on the sunbeds you couldn't get a bed as it was so busy. It was 10e for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. There is a pool but it is very small and is in the shade from approx 1pm .||Apart from this the Christina Beach is an excellent hotel.

Hotel good nice location 15min walk to old town. Good size room well stocked kitchen modern facilities pool in shade by afternoon and only 11 sunbeds so had to use hotel beach sunbeds charged 15 euro a day which is not on when paid 1100 for the week should be included like other hotels. We were there in September still busy. Food at bar area good choice. Most rooms offer some sea views. Can recommend for a stay.

We chose this hotel for its location and it was perfect. It is located right at the beginning of the boulevard and a 15-minute walk from the old town. The view is sublime (see photo). We had room 4060. Rooms are not large, but everything is there and really clean. It is cleaned every day and often new towels and sheets. Highly recommended. A really good value for a hotel right on the beach in Chania. The room was clean and comfortable and the A/C worked great. The beach was nice but you did have to pay 10 euros for 2 lounges and umbrella. Plan on an hour for breakfast - it’s very good with generous portions but takes a bit of time to prepare. However, breakfast does not start until 8am and we had mixed success getting a take away breakfast for early excursion days - you need to order and get it the day before - and store in your fridge - but the process didn’t always work. Old Chania is an easy walk and the hotels is near many bars and restaurants. I would stay here again.
