Christina Beach

This was our 2nd visit to his hotel. Again we stayed 7 nights in room 4020 on the top floor, (3rd floor) on the west side of the building. The room was spotlessly clean and serviced every day. It had all the facilities you would need if you wanted to do simple cooking. Our balcony had a sea view and being on the west of the building it was in shade in the morning for our coffee and we saw fantastic sun sets in the evening. There were a few hours, in the late afternoon when it was in the full sun and to hot to sit out. The room had a safe and good quiet A/C. All the staff were very friendly. There was a swimming pool that could be used in the adjacent Christina hotel. It's location meant that we had a 10 metre walk to be on the beach. Fantastic. ||It was lovely to sit on the terrace overlooking the beach with a cocktail in the evenings. ||Free parking is available on a first come basis in a small car park. A great hotel and we hope to return again

We chose this hotel for its location and it was perfect. It is located right at the beginning of the boulevard and a 15-minute walk from the old town. The view is sublime (see photo). We had room 4060. Rooms are not large, but everything is there and really clean. It is cleaned every day and often new towels and sheets. Highly recommended. Lovely hotel set just off the beach. The rooms were a good size and were cleaned everyday. The staff were really helpful and friendly. ||Old town was 20 mins walk away but a taxi was only 6Euro early evening and 8 at midnight. There is also a bus stop nearby that's only 2e each. || The beach bar was excellent, the food and the prices were really good.||The beach was lovely but unless you got up early and put towels on the sunbeds you couldn't get a bed as it was so busy. It was 10e for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. There is a pool but it is very small and is in the shade from approx 1pm .||Apart from this the Christina Beach is an excellent hotel.

Hotel good nice location 15min walk to old town. Good size room well stocked kitchen modern facilities pool in shade by afternoon and only 11 sunbeds so had to use hotel beach sunbeds charged 15 euro a day which is not on when paid 1100 for the week should be included like other hotels. We were there in September still busy. Food at bar area good choice. Most rooms offer some sea views. Can recommend for a stay.

Really nice hotel great location on the beach. Some good sea view rooms. Our apartment was large modern well stocked kitchen coffee machine and a toastie. Two balconies with sea and mountain views. Nice beach bar. The one gripe which annoyed us when you pay £1000 to stay for the week it annoyed us we were charged 15 euro a day to use hotel beach beds. You needed to as the pool only had 10 sunbeds! Would not go back for that reason everything else was good.

Super location, directly on the beach, the only hotel on that beach that without a road in between. The hotel is at a walking distance from Chania city, about 20 minutes. Nice and clean apartment with a super nice and large balcony with a sea view, but unfortunately nothing we could enjoy for breakfast in the morning as it is too hot due to the sun and lack of a sun umbrella (we asked the reception about one as the apartments on the ground floor had one.. but was directed to buy a beach umbrella from their shop which had not worked..). We had problems sleeping due to the high volume from the fridge, which the hotel fixed immediately, much appreciated! One thing we experienced negatively is that they have too few sunbeds at the pool and they rent out the sunbeds at the beach (seems to be a standard in Chania) to everyone including their guests., if you are not quick to book you will not get chairs as they running out. In comparison to the other hotels on this beach, we would choose Christina Apartment again if we return to Chania as we thought they had the best location at the beach and close to the city.

Rated 3* more like 5*|Room everything you need, hob, fridge, kettle, 2 coffee machines, iron and board and a proper hairdryer.|Shower didn’t flood bathroom.|Pool adequate, sun trap and sunbeds around the pool, too hot for us to sit there.|Cafe/snack bar excellent, portions too big and we ended up sharing a dish.|Bar and staff excellent.|Location perfect, lots of restaurants and Chania old town about 20 min walk, but good walk with bars etc|Beach perfect, sunbeds payable but you can just sit on sand. |Cleaner is first class and makes room look like a show house

Apartment hotel that fit our needs perfectly. Nice and helpful staff. The kitchenette could be better equipped. Been at this hotel before so this time I brought my own coffee filter holder to do pour over coffee instead of using the coffee maker. It drove me nuts the last time. Good breakfast and lunch restaurant. Excellent bartender. The hotel has its own supermarket. There is a compressor that can be used to inflate toys. The gym is sparsely equipped but sufficient. It is possible to connect media accounts like Netflix and YouTube to the TV.
