Christinas on the Danforth

We had such a wonderful experience at Christina’s this Thanksgiving weekend! It was a beautiful Friday with perfect weather for a cozy family meal and everything from start to finish was incredible. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and full of flavour. Saganaki, Octopus, Calamari, Souvlaki, we ate too much to list it all. Tommy provided outstanding service! He was warm, attentive, and provided great suggestions making our family feel welcomed and extra special. Christina’s truly made our Thanksgiving weekend memorable. Highly recommend, and definitely ask for Tommy!

We ordered rib eye (medium), lamb chops, and chicken souvlaki, along with sangria and a mojito. Everything was tasty and well-prepared. Our server, Tommy, was very patient and professional, which made the dinner even more enjoyable. Great spot for Greek food on the Danforth! PS: On weekends at lunch, you can also order from the dinner menu.

We visited Christina’s on the Danforth as a party of seven, including three kids, and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even creating a special plate for the kids, which I really appreciated. The food and desserts were delicious, though service was a little slow despite it being quiet. I’d love to come back on a weekend for their live music and bouzouki nights. Highly recommend — and their patio is a bonus!

We’ve been here for our Company Xmas party, group of 20 people. Perfect vibe! Live Green music band was so good! The lady who served us was so patient and professional! Be back for sure!

First time trying Christina’s on the Danforth. The food was authentic, fresh and delicious.. We felt like we had come to family’s for lunch! Tommy was very welcoming and friendly. See you soon blue eyes!!! Lol

Tommy took excellent care of us. We normally stick with a souvlaki dinner but Tommy took our menus from us and gave us fantastic recommendations. We obviously still started with the saganaki. Tommy brought us the lamb chop and the braised short rib - nothing short of tender and flavourful. We finished with the baklava and enjoyed the Greek coffee. Tommy’s service, personality, exceptional food recommendations and live music made our night fantastic. Highly recommend.

A Greek odyssey of hits and misses! Just survived a friend's 60th birthday bash last week. The lamb souvlaki and lamb chops were tender and flavorful. The rice was tasty enough and when they finally got their act together with the bread service, that second basket was warm and fresh with no olive oil in sight. My tiger shrimp appetizer arrived fashionably late, cold with the texture of rubber - clearly overcooked. The melitzanosalata (eggplant dip) arrived like an orphaned child - no pita bread in sight. The salads came with a singular, lonely olive or 4. Potatoes the size of boulders were soggy and lacked salt. The tasteless and oily red cabbage slaw was odd.Our poor waiter seemed very overwhelmed clearly they were understaffed as he was struggling to keep up. Had to flag him down twice for another drink, and someone at our table received the wrong dish entirely. Dessert menu? What dessert menu? Were never asked to see one. Christina's has the authentic Greek flavors down, but the presentation and service consistency need serious work.
