I asked for a taper and for exactly the opposite. The person cutting my hair did it in a rush and had the urgency to charge me $14 which is super unfair. I even showed her a picture and still did it wrong. Thinking about getting an attorney because this was definitely it right and very unprofessional. She kept talking in Spanish and laughing and because I did not speak Spanish. She kept saying “nino” which refers to kid right? We will see who’s the “nino” when I see you in court.

Haircut was inexpensive. Service was fast and courteous. Plenty of parking. Structured haircut prices based on the day of service. Haircuts on weekends costs more than those on weekdays. This place is just not clean. There was dust and dirt all over equipment. The baseboard were just plain dirty. I can understand that the building is older and maybe the walls need a fresh coat of paint but I don't understand why the nobody has taken the initiative to clean or have one of the other employees clean. Why getting my haircut there was a lady (greeter) sitting there doing her hair. This establishment was dirty for that reason I will not return even if they are less expensive than other barbershops/salons. If they are unclean with they things customers can see, how are their sanitary practices with the things that customers can't see (clippers, combs, trimmers)

Lady at the front was REALLY rude I asked to use the restroom and she replied with customers only which I understand so I asked to buy something and she said no she was on her phone the WHOLE time and made me repeat myself 3 times very disappointed don’t go here there was a lady in the back passed out on a chair by the register she seemed to be a worker not sure what was going on

Honestly one of my favorite haircut places in oxnard, if you don't speak Spanish you'll have trouble, other than that amazing place and not to busy to get a simple haircut.

Took mom here to get a hair cut on a Sunday afternoon. It was packed. Mostly men getting their hair cut. You could tell the hairstylists were meticulous. Great spot. Worth the wait.

I made an appointment with Christina booked and was seen the same day. I walked in looking like a bucket of fried chicken LOL and thought well I ruined my hair and so keep it dark like a caramel kind of color like in the picture. I went in with no expectations. and let Christina do her work. I was nervous the whole time, but I kept telling myself to trust the process. My reaction was wow Christina I'm a blonde, and I still have length. I didn't know how to react. I was actually excited about what I really, really wanted I actually got, what I thought I should get was put to the side. She recommended something else for me. I say Christina is a hair doctor cause she's really putting some good remedy in my hair. Her products are amazing. Her service is amazing. She speaks English and Spanish and you will feel welcomed . I recommend her & quanit cozy shop. Did I mention I'm geeking over her? I'm a Blonde ‍ OMG Really Love it. I found my own personal Cosmetologist.

This salon can't be beat when it comes to haircuts for our Hispanic community here in Oxnard. I've been coming to Christina's since I was in high school, and they are the only people I trust with scissors and my hair. These fine women have been practicing their trade for many years, and they have seen me grow as an individual, and keep my hair healthy with their personal advice. I will start this review out with a quote "a picture is worth a thousand words". It's very rare that you find a hairdresser that doesn't have her own agenda ,well my mother had been advised that a perm would not be a good choice for her. Christina had said" to try a new haircut and if she didn't like it she would be more than happy to perm her hair for her". That was 2 weeks ago today my mom is very happy that she went with the haircut instead of the perm which saved her so much money in the long run. Like I said it's hard to find a hairdresser that doesn't have her own agenda. Christina keeps the customer happy and looking good as well. Keep up the good work Christina 2000.

This is the best place to get an affordable haircut in oxnard. Ive been coming to this place for years now and will continue to support them. The staff are knowledgeable at what they do and always very friendly. The best deal is to come on mondays, tuesdays, or wednesdays. A simple haircut will only set you back $6! Don't let the cheap price fool you though. You will leave satisfied with your new cut.

During an extended visit to my mother's house, my sister asked me what was going on with my hair. I told her I was trying to let it grow (I really don't know why since I don't really care for long hair for myself), so, I agreed I needed a hair cut. She mentioned that she had recently gotten her hair cut by Christina at Christina 2000. My sister's hair looked fabulous, so we made an appointment, I gathered a few pictures of some hair styles I might like and showed them to Christina. She looked at the pictures and told me that my hair texture was not the same (big surprise to me my hair was curly...a lot curvier than I thought). I was very impressed at how she took the time to explain as she cut my hair how it would flatter my hair texture and thickness. She gave me instructions on how to achieve the style I wanted, and even gave me some hair product to try. Christina 2000 is now my mother's, sister's and my favorite salon.
