Christkindlmarkt is such a fun and festive spot, and it instantly puts you in the holiday spirit. The lights and decor are gorgeous and make the whole place feel super cozy and magical. Everywhere you look, something is twinkling or beautifully decorated, and it really sets the mood. A lot of the vendors felt similar to the ones at Philly’s holiday market, but I still really enjoyed the experience. The setup, the atmosphere, and the overall vibe made it feel special in its own way. There are plenty of cute handmade gifts, ornaments, and treats to browse, and it’s easy to spend a few hours just wandering around. If you’re looking for a holiday outing that feels warm, pretty, and full of festive energy, definitely check it out. Totally worth the trip!

Christkindlmarkt was amazing! So many retailers and food options - you can really feel the holiday spirit there. The food hall was super packed though. I honestly wish they would redo the layout a bit. The decorations were beautiful, and the view of the SteelStacks in the back is mesmerizing. You’re literally looking at history. Parking is definitely difficult, so come early!

It's a cool setting, and lots of vendors selling crafts. But it's disappointing. First of all I can't justify paying significant money for the entrance. Including for kids. There is nothing special provided, that could be assumed as included in the price. Except for the restrooms maybe? You can get similar experience at Bryant Park or Union Square markets in NYC for free. Admittedly, there were a few vendors with interesting merchandise. I even bought a German made cap/hat. Great quality, nice design, reasonable price. On the other hand their food court is a disaster. We bought a goulash and potato pancakes from one vendor and both were a disgrace to it's name. Strudel from another vendor proved to be soggy and flavorless.

Overall impression of this place—great setting and overall Christmas vibe. But the vendors sold mostly crap made in China—kind of trinkets. There were some really nice vendors with unique crafted by hand type stuff but that was rare. Food and drink vendors—much better. Plus you have to pay to enter—to go shopping….

This place is truly magical in the Christmas time. You have so many shops to explore, many offer free sampling. The decoration is absolutely gorgeous and the place is full of selfie opportunities! It's free admission after 5. Parking is free but can be bit hard to find. There is additional parking but that is little bit of a walk and with cold weather might be bit cumbersome. There are food options too in one of the tents. Great evening for just friends, with family or even explore by yourself.

First time here. So many great vendors! Pats pizza was great. Never expected such good pizza at a Christmas market. Loved the nesting dolls, we couldn't resist and bought a nesting christmas tree. We had a great time. Highly recommend.

What a cool place to go and get into a Christmas spirit , this place has a bunch of vendors that sell their product a lot of artist and homemade merchandise. There are a lot of different food options as well. We came here and spent the day walking around. Had lunch and shopped around a little bit if you like going to a bunch of different little boutiques and shopping then this is for you. The steel stacks are absolutely amazing it is such an amazing huge piece of history you have to walk around and admire it , that is one of the coolest pieces of history I have ever seen !! Go and get into Christmas spirit !!!

Charging $15 per person to enter an area that’s normally free, just to walk through vendors selling items you can find elsewhere (like Peddler’s Village, which doesn’t charge admission), really isn’t cool. The food options were limited as well—you’d expect things like cider, hot chocolate, kettle corn, etc., but none of that was there. I didn’t even hear Christmas music playing anywhere. I don’t appreciate the new trend on how everything has an admission fee. If you’re willing to pay $15 and mainly looking for homemade Christmas ornaments, or just want to walk around then this place is for you. Otherwise, it feels a bit underwhelming for the price. Also, closing at 6pm on Sundays is disappointing. Since it gets dark around that time, you only get about 45 minutes to enjoy the lights in the dark before they shut everything down. If you don’t have anything to do, why not. Just don’t expect much. I give it 2 stars for the effort of setting the place up. Winds were gusting and the tents held up really well. Just not much to do and not many food options killed it for me.
