Christmas Boat Parade Newport Beach

Fantastic! Wow, our experience was 100 times what the expectation was! We had a group of 7 on the 7:05pm boat on Saturday night of the boat parade. The staff directing us to the waiting areas were patient & fun, the crew was excellent & welcoming and kept their cool with all the crazy boaters all around us. The boat was decorated and our Captain communicated with us where to look, and explained what was happening all along the way. The captain expertly posted us right near the turn-around point which allowed us to see (and interact with!) all of the boats in the parade. This experience was tops and we can't wait to do it again. Highly recommended!! We did this with Davey's Locker onboard the FURY, FYI.

Such a terrific experience!! We boarded right on time, traveled around the bay, then stopped awhile when the boat parade began so we had time to enjoy each entry. All the boats, any size, were decorated beautifully. Onboard hot chocolate was delightful!

This was the second time our family has cruised the Newport Beach Boat parade with Davy’s Locker we highly recommend this event! We were on a smaller boat which was great because we got up close to the homes along the channels and were right in the middle of the boat parade. Amazing!

The experience was really fun and enjoyable, our 8 year old absolutely loved seeing all the lit up boats from the parade. The hot cocoa was delicious! The boat was extremely crowded though, way too many people on board, making it really hard to see anything and most people in our second deck area weren’t willing to move at all for the whole 90 minutes so my son missed a lot of the show. VIP area was offered for a higher price to be able to see everything and even that area was packed and would have been more uncomfortable than second deck. Overall, this is a great experience that brings holiday joy but I don’t think we will be going back now knowing how packed it is once you're on the boat.

The boat was clean and there are lots of places to sit. You really need to sit on the starboard side for the best view of the homes. The passengers on our tour appreciated that the captain immediately asked the guest who lit a joint to put his weed away! Do be prepared to stand in line for a long time before boarding the boat. The restrooms available at the dock are surprisingly clean and well stocked.

We had the absolute best time. The crew was so sweet and joyful. It was easy to get into the Christmas spirit while onboard the festively decorated boat. Definitely want to come back and bring friends next time.

This was our first time as a group going. There was eight of us and we had a wonderful time. Our captain I think was Mike. We were on the 730 boat and we had a lot of fun. It wasn’t that crowded and the weather was beautiful so yes your crew was amazing and everything was good. And I won one of the free whale watching tickets Thank you Pam

This was my second year going on the holiday lights cruise, for the price it’s awesome, it’s beautiful, peaceful and a great way to kick off your holidays! Captain and crew are always knowledgeable, organized make you feel safe. Definitely has become a tradition now!
