We visited Christmas hill Raspberry Farm Café on our way to Cradle Mountain, and it was an absolute delight! The breakfast was incredible – we had the Eggs Benedict, beetroot and avocado toast, and the creamy chicken soup of the day, and everything was bursting with flavor. The coffee was just as impressive – smooth, rich, and perfectly brewed. To top it all off, the café is set in a blissful, scenic location, surrounded by beautiful nature. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a delicious meal before continuing our journey. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely amazing place! The setting is beautiful, surrounded by nature and perfect for a relaxing stop. The food was incredible – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Their raspberry creations are out of this world. Staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. It’s rare to find a spot that ticks all the boxes, but this one absolutely does. A must-visit if you’re in Tasmania – we will definitely be back!

This was a recommendation from an acquaintance and I'm really glad we took the time to backtrack from Launceston to do it (it's about 40mins away). The food was fantastic. The food pictured is Raspberry Pancakes and Cinnamon French Toast (added Banana). Both were filling enough that neither of us really needed to eat until dinner. The gardens are beautiful, they are definitely worth taking some time to walk around especially if you're going to be driving for a while.

Absolutely love my time at the Raspberry Farm. The food was delicious. I had the big brekky burger, raspberry crepes and raspberry smoothie. The staff were friendly and the service was very quick!

We stopped by Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm for lunch during a little road trip, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. The whole place has such a warm and inviting atmosphere - set among beautiful countryside, with raspberry bushes growing right on the property. You get the feeling that everything is fresh and thoughtfully made. We started with drinks and couldn’t resist trying both the Raspberry Fruit Smoothie and the Raspberry Hot Chocolate. The smoothie was delicious - super refreshing, full of berry flavour, and not overly sweet like some can be. It tasted like real fruit, not syrup or artificial flavours. The raspberry hot chocolate was rich and comforting, with a really nice balance of sweet and tart. It’s the kind of drink you’d crave on a cold day, but honestly, I’d order it year-round. For food, we shared the Pulled Beef Steak Sandwich and the Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon. The sandwich was packed with flavour - the beef was tender and juicy, and it came with a generous serving of fillings on fresh, crusty bread. What really made it stand out, though, was their smokey Raspberry BBQ Sauce. It added the perfect sweet and tangy kick, tying the whole thing together in a really unique way. Definitely something you won’t find just anywhere, and it worked so well with the richness of the beef. The eggs Benedict was beautifully done, too - perfectly poached eggs, velvety hollandaise, and fresh smoked salmon that added just the right amount of savoury depth without overpowering the dish. It was light but satisfying, and the flavours were really well-balanced. Service was friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The staff seemed genuinely happy to be there, and they were happy to give recommendations and check in throughout the meal without being overbearing. Overall, Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm is more than just a café - it’s a whole experience. Whether you're stopping in for a proper meal, coffee and dessert, or just browsing the gift shop for raspberry treats to take home, it’s absolutely worth the visit. We left feeling full, happy, and already talking about coming back next time we’re in the area.

Always love visiting here when we're up north, absolutely delicious and such wonderful customer service. Afternoon tea for us. I think the regular hot choc was better than the raspberry hot choc.

We were scraping our plates clean, everything was so delicious here. Highlights were the Panna Cotta special, scones with raspberry jam, the raspberry and vanilla muffin and the raspberry mojito.

Stopped by for brunch on our campervan trip from Launceston to Hobart. Did not regret the stopover. Great food, great coffee, innovative twists of raspberries to food and drinks. Food portions were great and delicious. Large variety to choose from. Family was very happy and brunch was very sustaining. Bellies were happy. Thank you very much for the warm hospitality.

Yelp
Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm is the cutest little farm and restaurant! We were driving from Launceston to Hobart and happened to spot a sign for it. The restaurant is cozy and charming, with a little fireplace adding to the atmosphere. We sat by the window and enjoyed a lovely view of the lake. After our meal, we took a short walk along the lake trail and peeked at the raspberry fields. October is not the season for raspberries, so none yet! The menu creatively incorporates raspberries into many dishes. I ordered their special, a pumpkin and spinach arancini served with a fresh salad. It came with two unique dips -- a strawberry chili and a cashew aioli. The combination may sound unusual, but it was absolutely scrumptious! Since my dish didn't have their famous raspberries, I ordered a raspberry latte instead. Not sweet at all and had a very faint taste of raspberry. Mostly tasted the syrup when I got to the bottom and even then, not too sweet at all. After our meal, we headed over to their mini gift shop where they sold raspberry jam, raspberry ice cream, chocolate dipped raspberries, and a ton of other goodies. We ordered the raspberry ice cream and it was delicious! Quite possibly one of the best meals I had in Tasmania. Highly, highly recommended!

Yelp
I think about this place on a regular basis. Vacationed here over 5 years ago with my wife and am dying to go back just to eat here. I had the trout and eggs which were so delicious and my wife had the scone with cream and raspberry. I can't say enough about how delicious it all was.

Yelp
The drinks are good. Fresh raspberries are good when in season. My major gripe is that the restaurant only has one real lunch dish - pork belly. On our trip they were sold out which meant we had to scramble to find other meals to substitute but there is no real substitute on the menu. Totes annoying. Free chocolate covered raspberry with every purchase from the shop! Nice.

Yelp
This is one of the best road-trip farm stops that I've come across. And I've been on ALOT of road trips around the world. What makes this so special? - good food. Almost everything has a raspberry theme. The gelato and ice cream are amazing, get them by themselves ($5.20 for a double scoop) or in combo with a bigger dessert - friendly service. Despite heaving with loads of people and everyone being a tourist, the waiting staff were tremendously friendly and smiling all the time - decent prices. They weren't cheap - $5 for a coffee, $5.20 for a double scoop of ice cream. But they weren't rip off pricing either. Main courses were around $10-$15. Kudos to them for having integrity. - well organised. The place was clean. Service was efficient. There was a good shop with loads of raspberry related things to buy. Nice outside tables and space when its sunny. Loads of parking. Overall, this should be a don't-miss place if you're travelling in the stretch between Launceston and Cradle Mountain.

Yelp
We stopped at Christmas Hill Raspberry Farm on the way to Cradle Mountain from the Launceston airport and I am SO thankful that we did. This is one of my favorite memories of my trip. It was a lovely warm day and we sat outside at the picnic tables under the beautiful tree. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious! I got the raspberry fizz and the french toast with berry and creamy ricotta. They were both delicious. My mother ordered the wallaby burger and loved it so much that we went back on our way back through and she ordered it again! My father had the raspberry pancakes and the attached pictures tells you enough! He loved it. He also raved about the raspberry fizz. This was a big hit at our table! We also had the raspberry affogato and it was delicious. For our second visit, I made the best decision and ordered the raspberry crumpets. WOW. I'd do the 16 hour flight over again simply to get these! After we ordered, we took a lovely stroll around the pond to see the llamas and an attempt to see the platypus. I am thankful that the nice man at Hertz rental at the airport recommended this to us. We will carry the very fond memories of the Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm with us for a very long time. :)

Yelp
We toured the road this place was on, so we dropped in for breakfast. The food was good and service was okay. The place wasn't busy, we ordered a sausage dish and raspberry toast and they didn't disappoint.
