No food or snacks available. Limited room. If you have returned your rental no way back to town so have to wait for hours. Airconditioning but door open and so everyone like a sweat ball before on flight. Bad effort for tourism. Bag check in was ok. Security still insist on removing electronic devices from luggage. Security people polite and decent

Be aware of the TOLL employee at the screening station. He believes he has the right to feel your genitals if the screening shows up that area. I have never felt so violated. Attached is his picture at the screening station.

Its s regional airport, there has been some upgrades. Some barely functional WIFI is now available for the public which needs to be constantly logged back into every 15 minutes. It is better i’ll give it that much. Marginally.

Overall good experience, but when everyone is waiting to check in, no enough seats in the hall, many people have to sit outside which without air-conditioning. It will be great if the outdoor seating area has fans too. Additionally, the cell signal is shocking. It appears the cel coverage is only for settlement and Poon San, not even for the airport.

Fly-fishing for Bonefish in 1979. First evening there was lobster dinner and for entertainment, the native Micronesians gathered around a 4'x4' plywood box dressed in freshly woven palm leaf traditional attire. The four biggest males beat the box 📦 using the palm of their hand with the other males behind them, and the outer circle were the women. It was right out of a Tarzan movie as the drum beats and tribal chanting reverberated loudly through the tropical air. Ul la woo la vu da say. My brother's and my last trip with Dad just before he died age 52 in a small plane crash on Tasman Glacier New Zealand.

💥Beware foreign travellers! The only bank here can neither give you cash on a bank card, nor process Visa cash advances (like anywhere else in the world...) Bring cash to Christmas Island as there is NO WAY for a non-Ausie to obtain cash once here.
