Christner's Prime Steak & Lobster

Christener's is our preferred Steakhouse when visiting Orlando! Always a great time. Great Steak and seafood. Huge lobster tails! Lobster bisque and fried calamari apps awesome. We live sitting at one of Luigi's tables!! He's great!

We come a few times a year for birthday and anniversary celebrations and we always come for NYE. I have eaten at many wonderful steak houses around the world and I will tell you, you can’t beat Christner’s! The quality, the consistency, and the service is exceptional!! We were there last night to celebrate our Anniversary and we always order the peppercorn gravy with our steak. We were told when we said how much we loved it with our steak that many people don’t order it. Y’all…get the gravy!! Yes you don’t need it with Christner’s steak but you are missing out!! Just try it. It is really amazing. Oh and of course the orange cake is just to die for!! Thanks to Kevin our server for another wonderful meal!

Everything is perfect about this place, from the staff, food and atmosphere. We order the majority of the sides, seafood and steak and everything came out perfect. Sides portions are perfect to share with at least 4 people or more. Wine selection is amazing!! Highly recommend!! I will be back!! Bonus not a cake person but the orange cake was perfection!

The steaks—tender, flavorful, and clearly top-quality meat. Personally, the pepper crust was a bit heavy for my taste, but that’s just preference—the quality was undeniable. THE BREAD WAS TO DIE FOR! Our waiter was fantastic: warm, super knowledgeable, and made great recommendations without being pushy. The sides were also a win—really generous portions and perfect for sharing. If you’re looking for a classic steakhouse with great service and a cozy, upscale vibe, Christner’s definitely delivers.

First of all it was our first time eating with your establishment , the food was amazing. We often . Eat out at high end steak houses and this was by far our favorite and we will be back, we will also be asking for ERIC our server every time. He made our experience even better. He was so knowledgeable , we laughed with him. He recommended the perfect food for us. And I left thinking we had a server /friend and a place to go for life . I was excited to celebrate my birthday at Christner's. You start off with a complimentary valet, the boys were really nice. The vibe is very old New York steakhouse with white linens, piano bar, dark oak furniture and a great wine selection. The food was top tier. We usually start with crab cake and were told that the lobster bisque is a must. Both equally had plenty of crab and lobster, they don't skimp! We shared a bone in ribeye, which was also recommended, with mushrooms and potatoes au gratin. The steak came out on a wooden plank and cut tableside. The sides are family style and shareable. The steak was seasoned beautiful and cooked to perfection. Mushrooms are always my fave, the potatoes were cheesy and not your regular style where they're sliced but more like chopped. We finished with the bread pudding with a rum sauce. Where I give 4 stars is due to the service. Our server, Jaime, came to our table and didn't introduce himself. The only reason i know his name is because i asked if he was going to be our server or just another table assistant. He didn't provide the full drink menu which would've been nice to see what cocktails they have, he just said we have a full bar. He basically was not engaged with us, knowing it was our first time visiting. Other than that food, atmosphere was perfection. Highly recommend.

Wow, my first time here and I was impressed with everything. I was in town celebrating our wedding anniversary and we were looking for a nice steakhouse and a friend recommended this place and I am glad we listened. The bone in filet was perfect and all the food was great. Our waitress Luigi was awesome! Because of our anniversary celebration, he brought a magician they had that night and the magic tricks he did were awesome. This is now my favorite steakhouse. I will definitely be coming back when I am in town. I already made my next reservation for my birthday.

This place was spectacular...from the food to the service...it was my first time to christners...and I can honestly say out of the monster group of high end steak houses I've been too...this is now my #1 favorite...from Mark with accompanied help to the ribeye...lobster mac...to the bisque...I tell you they didn't miss! Also one fantastic raspberry martini...it was my birthday and went out on a limb trying something new on my special day...and I tell you ..grandslam for a game win!!.hats off to the staff and chef!! Will absolutely be back...and anyone who sees this post and trys them...You welcome for this gem!

Loved my experience here! The service was excellent and the overall ambiance of the private room is perfect for a work dinner. Grouper Bites (5/5) Ahi Tuna (5/5) - must order Calamari (5/5) - loved the spicy and sweet Fried Oysters (4/5) - lots of breading Bread & butter (4/5) - LOVE the butter texture I went with the 12oz Lobster Tail for my entree and enjoyed it (4/5) but the sides really were fantastic. Creamed spinach (5/5) - amazing! Everyone loved this. Mashed potatoes (5/5) - incredible Lobster Mac & Cheese (4/5) Broccoli and asparagus were both nothing special - no special seasonings or char, both seemed to be boiled

We ordered the cheese plate, onion rings, and ahi tuna as apps. All were great but the ahi tuna is possibly the best ahi tuna app I have ever had!! Absolutely fantastic! For dinner, I had the 12oz filet, Pittsburgh rare with creamed corn, au gratin potatoes, and asparagus for sides. The Pittsburgh rare fillet was done magnificently! Quite possibly the greatest steak I have ever had! The sides were equally delicious. I have been to hundreds of steakhouses around the world and nothing has topped Christners!

I haven't been to Christener's in over 15 years, and actually it was Del Frisco's then. It is safe to say that I will not be back. Decor: Dated & dark. We felt like we were in steerage on the Titanic. Plus they have awful red carpet. Ambiance: Like a cafeteria with smooth jazz barely audible. Service: Our waiter did not smile the entire time until he handed us the bill; he seemed like he would rather be getting a root canal than working Drinks: I ordered a mule mocktail that was served in a tarnished mug, gross And finally, food: Atrocious! Bad cut of steak, skinny asparagus, potatoes au gratin was nothing more than chunks of potato with cheese melted on top, calamari was chewy & overcooked. The only bright spot was the ahi tuna. Bad, bad, bad!

First time trying out this Orlando restaurant located off Lee Road. Staff are super friendly and the decor is very much oak covered walls and multiple dining rooms that are open or private. There was a pianist playing and singing some Sinatra classics. I loved the calamari that was so light and crispy with the tangy sweet chili sauce. Their house salad was okay, not the biggest fan. I ordered the filet mignon that was perfectly cooked to my liking of medium rare. I did enjoy the mashed potatoes as my accompaniment, but the asparagus was a little too crunchy for my taste with little flavor. Our dessert was chocolate pudding that definitely was light and fluffy and not too heavy. Definitely a place worth trying out on special occasions if you are interested in some good steak.

Love the ambience and the service was impeccable. I started my meal with a bowl of lobster bisque. The bisque was full of lobster chunks in a delicious creamy soup. My main course was lobster and the prime filet mignon with a side of brussels sprouts. Very enjoyable.

Do not dine at other steakhouse while in town. Christner's will blow you away with their amazing food, service and decor. They have a piano player and the ambiance gives you that OG steakhouse feel with the leather accented walls, wood paneling and loads of wine options. I had the strip steak cooked medium rare, which was perfectly seasoned. Sides of mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and asparagus rounded out the dish. We finished with the orange cake and bread pudding. They are also known for their fish. The ahi tuna looked amazing. Will need to try this next time!

Katelyn was our server. We had a private room. Nice and clean looking room and table setting. The appetizers were pretty fast to come out and for the most part they were tasty. However, it did take a very long time for our main course to come out. The potatoes were OK they did lack some flavor, the beef Wellington was OK, but not what I expected. I guess I compared them to Gordon Ramsay, steak beef, Wellington, and nowhere near to comparison. The side that I favored the most was the cream corn and it was delicious. The crème brûlée was also tasty. And kudos to the lobster mac & cheese. But I do want to note their pasta is not made fresh. It is boxed pasta. in any case I came I tried them, but I do not think I desired to come back.

What an experience! My husband and I went here to celebrate our 10-yr anniversary and it was really fun. Here are my thoughts: PRO: I can see why this is a city staple for fine dining and a place to celebrate special occasions. You feel like you're stepping back in time when it comes to the caliber of service and the setting. The food is DELICIOUS! It is the place to go for a good steak, and the sides were enormous and very flavorful. The service is excellent. Our server gave us his business card at the end of the meal. Again, a very nice touch, and it felt very personalized. He heard us debating over which piece of cake to share, so he surprised us with both slices so we could try them. Very wonderful service gesture. CONS: These are minor, but ... We dressed up and were surprised that it wasn't as fancy as it looked. Lots of parties looked like work friends after hours (casual, people in work uniforms, shorts and t-shirts, loud parties, etc) almost felt pub-like. Nothing wrong with it, but it took away from the quiet, intimate setting we hoped for, especially for the prices we were paying. The location is interesting. When you step inside, it's like you're transported back in time, but the surrounding area is pawn shops and legal billboards. All good if you're driving, but it's not a romantic area you can stroll after dinner. Overall the "cons" are minor. It's a great place to go for a special occasion and a really good meal!

Nice bar and the restaurant has a piano player. Steak was really good, service was spotty. Didn't get the mashed potatoes we ordered. Cesar salad didn't have enough dressing. When you are paying this much it should be perfect. Orange cake was good, but too huge, 1 piece would feed 3 people. For the price, probably won't return.

Exceptional Dining Experience! We were visiting family in Orlando and dined at Christner's on a Saturday night. This steak house is top notch. The decor is classic steak house: dark wood, leather seats with an outstanding waitstaff. We started our meals with shrimp cocktails, Ahi tuna, lobster bisque and a house salad. All of our apps tasted fantastic! My husband had a filet, his brother a bone in filet, his wife had a lobster tail and I had the beef Wellington. Each main course was prepared as requested and absolutely perfect. We paired our proteins with au gratin potatoes, broccolini and creamed spinach. The side dishes were flavorful and abundant portions. We shared a serving of their bread pudding for dessert--rich, creamy and tasty. Christner's is truly an exceptional dining experience!

The steaks are amazing. Wonderful flavor and well seasoned. Truly enjoyed the Caesar salad and lobster bisque (which had huge chunks of lobster). Everything had huge portion sizes. Service was a little slow. I didn't mind the fact the steaks came slower because I could see they sent out several large orders. However, our waiter, who didn't seem to be serving any of the larger parties, was just absentee from our table.

OMG this place is amazing. It's honestly the BEST food I've ever had. We had the Filet Mignon medium (cooked to perfection). I rarely order steaks at restaurants because they are NEVER cooked right and no flavor. I prefer cooking my own. But this chef was on point! We also had the Seared Ahi Tuna (I've never ate before), our waiter recommend it and he was 100% right. We went to celebrate our 27th anniversary and try a more upscale restaurant. I'm so glad I found this restaurant and EVERYONE must try it at least once. Thank you to all the staff who did an amazing job.

We really struggled at Christner's tonight. We intentionally came early to have a drink I at the bar for our 7:15 reservation. 6 of 12 seats at the bar were occupied by people having full dinner. It was very difficult to get a drink and get served. Crowds of folks were frustrated at no place to sit or stand or set drinks down. Entire bar area including piano room were diners. There were only 5 seats at piano and 2 were reserved. So, it is NOT a piano bar. It is another dining room with a piano in it. Fine. We had to wait until almost 8pm to be seated for 7:15 reservation. There was another table for 8 that sat empty while we waited 45 minutes for our assigned table. Lots of apologies, nothing offered. Certainly no sympathy. Salads came so uneven that some of our guests were nearly done before others arrived. We had our entrees before any bread service. They said they simply forgot. More apologies. The food was mostly excellent. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Potatoes, onion rings, tuna, Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, all terrific. Crab cakes were undercooked and mushy. Almost no apps for shellfish allergies. I think 11 of 13 apps were shellfish. Asked for Mac and cheese without lobster ( allergy) and was told no. Can you believe it? Place was loud and crowded. They may be taking popularity for granted. We intentionally went to Christner's instead of Eddie Vs. I think it was a mistake. Disappointing evening.

We went to Christner's for my partners birthday celebration. There was about ten of us, making a reservation was a breeze. Our entire experience was wonderful, our server was knowledgeable, made great recommendations and gave us honest answers when we asked questions about cuts and types of steaks. We ordered some appetizers, the calamari was the largest serving of calamari I've ever received and trust me, I'm not complaining! It was so perfectly cooked, it was tender, not rubbery at all and the breading was light and crispy. My only thing was that I wished the sauce came on the side because we couldn't eat it all and the pieces we brought home got a little soggy because they were drizzled with the sauce. Next time I know to ask for it on the side. We ordered a couple bottles of wine with the help of our server and trusted his suggestions on the sides to go with our steaks. Everything was lovely and overall it was a great experience. We brought in our own dessert and they were so wonderful about it, they brought me a knife in warm water to cut it + plates and utensils. BTW their desserts looked AMAZING and our server was so sweet to send my partner home with a slice of their orange cake in celebration of his bday. I'm so happy we finally checked it out because we will definitely be back!

From the food to the cocktails, the service we received from Jerry to the live piano music at the bar after dinner... I cannot recommend Christners enough. 6/5 stars. We will be back!

6 of us tonight sat at a round table in the back by the bar. The Lebanese gentleman server was superb, as well as all of the other staff. But the ambiance was chaotic, loud and very sterile - not elegant or romantic, whatsoever. Our steaks (strip / ribeye / filets all were properly cooked yet tasted dry and flavorless. The lobster tail was dry and rubbery. The side dishes were all good. Our drinks were also very good (loved the Stag cabernet). The desserts were also very good. But for upwards of $800 for 6 people, this place isn't worth that. We all gave our dining experience between C+ to B-.

Finally got to cross it out of my to try list! Went to dinner with family and we enjoyed our meal. We had reservations on a busy night and were seating right away. Our server was attentive and happy to answer any questions or make suggestions. We had the ahi tuna, the fried calamari, Caesar salads (needed more dressing or to be tossed more, they were lacking flavor), the crab cakes were delicious, mashed potatoes, the prime filet trio and lobster. Everything was tasty, cooked well, fresh and with good ingredients. We could not day the same for the desserts as these tasted like they baked them out of a box. The mandarin cake, the chocolate cake and the cheesecake, left a lot to be desired. We will be back for dinner for sure!

Jeremy (waiter) was excellent. Service was excellent. Complimentary valet. Good food. What more can you ask for. Attendants were always checking to make sure all needs were met. I've been to many steak houses and this one is one you don't want to miss. If you are in the area or looking for a good steak or seafood try Christner's If you have a group I would suggest making reservations. They have booths and tables. Many desserts to end your meal. I chose the orange cake slice which was huge and enough for 3 to share. Enjoy.

My husband has always wanted to try this place since a child, and made a reservation for my birthday. Everything, especially our waiter Luis was great. I would give it a 5 star but my lobster was over cooked. Which at $90 for 10 oz, it should be cooked to perfection... Dessert was on the house for my bday and we had crème brûlée, it was delish!

Went here for my bday dinner tonight. Gotta say, I expected more. Service was good, not great. My wife mentioned that her dish and side was too salty, just said "sorry to hear that". Overall, food did seem like it was sitting under the salamander too long/ steaks were a little dry on the top. I just expected more given the recommendations I've gotten from colleagues. Not good and definitely not great.

I was invited to dinner to meet up with some old friends. My date and I arrived a little early so while we were seated in the hostess area the owner comes to introduce himself to us. The rest of our party arrived and we had the best seat in the house...next to the piano player (he took requests). You get warm bread with butter delivered to your table. We had several apps shrimp cocktail, crab cakes and the best Ahi Tuna I've ever!! I had bone in ribeye cooked to medium we had family style osage spinach and mandarin orange cake. This was the best fine dining experience I've ever had.

Have been looking for an amazing streak and think we finally found one in orlando! Easy to book on open table. complimentary valet parking. Beautiful entry, we were greeted promptly (noticed that they do have wine lockers for rent by the entry way). Seated right away even though we were early for our reservations. We walk by the bar area, they had a live piano player, nice touch. It's dark but had a really nice classy atmosphere. Many rooms, so this would be a fantastic place to do a private dinner party! We were in one of the back rooms, the service was exceptional, our server was Alec and he was great! I got a glass of wine, husband got a cocktail. The bread service was great, the bread is warm, crunchy on the outside and soft and warm inside. I started with the ahi tuna, WOW, it was amazing, it was soft, fresh, melted in my mouth, had a slight Smokey flavor, side of a sauce but wow. The best I have had. Did I mention wow? Husband had the wedge; he said it was great but after a bite of my ahi tuna he said he is definitely getting that next time! Entree I had the rib eye, it came a little undercooked for me, but it was still delicious. My husband got the dry aged rib eye and he said it was one of the best steaks he has had in a really long time. Sides we got the Osage spinach (spinach topped with cheese and bacon), really delicious and the chateau potatoes (like mashed potatoes), I am normally not a bit mashed potatoes person but this was really good too. Saved room for the mandarine orange cake, since it was highly recommended. Like a sponge cake that is light and fluffy, the icing is an orange flavor, not too overpowering, a little sweet. Overall we enjoyed our dinner, service, food, atmosphere all excellent! Highly recommend for a date night, special occasions or just want a good piece of steak, and don't forget to order the ahi tuna!

This experience doesn't even deserve a star..... first we had a 400 dollar gift card... arrived 630 for a 7 reservation were seated 15 min later sat literally till 7 20 before even approached by our server, giggling over the crazy wait, we ordered drinks... another 20 min we wait for a terrible cocktail.. i mean terrible....oh wait we did get two loaves of bread and water in the meantime... 730ish the server comes and says are you ready to order we ask for any specials she answers everything's special here .. ok well ok she recommends tuna app .. and we order Caesar salad and tuna and i order Oscar grouper my spouse orders a prime strip and120 bottle of wine..tuna comes immediately ...mediocre at best salad arrives a minute later wilted and the worst anchovies ever tasted....then the wait for dinner....we wait and wait wait....and wait they filled our water glasses 4 times......it finally arrives fish is sooo so overdone from sitting under a heat lamp ...had to use my spouses steak knife to even try to cut it.... Bernaise sauce completely split from heat and cremated asparagus are crispy disastrous......jeez this was a mess wait wait and wait for the server, Melanie to finally arrive to explain this is not good its really is gross....she says oh ill give u free dessert...oh wait never brought the wine .... Explains we didn't order i remark umm yes remember 526? U wrote it down open ur pad i saw u write it down oh did i ?.. let me go get .. wait we haven't even eaten anything its really inedible, and u want to now go get wine... for us on an empty tummy....ill comp the cocktails then , no thanks...... listen we were done done done... within seconds tho, fastest delivery of the night..she drops the check off and disappears......so we paid cash since she abandons the whole thing.....so professional....incredibly disappointing.. paid 100 cash on table tipped truthfully the young guy who kept filling our water ...100 for terrible drink, mediocre tuna app and a steak that outback coulda done better.....so sad ... what happened here ......now stuck with a 400 dollar gift cert.... this was our night.... Oh well now we know .....never again ...i mean never ever again! Horrendous

In a land full of strip malls, chain restaurants, and theme parks there is Christners. It never disappoints and the weight staff is well trained, and professional.

Christner's never fails to amaze and satisfy. Last evening, however, my companion and I experienced a very condescending, rude employee. It was still early in the evening, so we felt no rush and were ready to enjoy a fabulous steak and a super-chilled martini. The usual bartender, Jean, was working and this particular employee worked alongside her. He barely greeted us, and he generally conveyed the feeling that he was doing us a fvor to serve us. The clincher was when he grabbed away my drink and I protested. He looked at the amount of liquor left in the glass, held it up for those nearby to see, and sarcastically said, "Really"?, as if I was demented with my request to keep my glass. Whatever his reasoning, never should he treat a customer in such a dismissive and insulting manner. Maybe little old ladies are not his favorite bar patrons, but he and his attitude put a black mark on an otherwise perfect evening. He doesn't belong in a classy place like Christners. Rather than make us feel as if we are special people in a very special place, he made us feel demeaned. I will definitely return to Christners, but I truly hope I never again have to interact with this self-impressed loser.

I'm not even a steak person, but I was blown away by Christner's Prime Steak & Lobster! We started off with the Lemon Drop Martini & a few appetizers. The Crab-cake was by far the best one I've had in Orlando . It was lightly breaded and packed with so much flavor! The Calamari was also spectacular! It had a sweet & spicy chili taste to it that really elevated the dish. Once again I'm not at all a steak person but the steak was so good! For sides we got the Asparagus, Skillet Potatoes & Onions, and the Creamed Corn. The Asparagus was phenomenal with just the right amount of seasoning. The service was prompt and attentive. Our waiter , Patrick , really took the time to make sure we were well taken care of and enjoying our meal. The restaurant had a nice ambiance with a live piano player that elevated the mood! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wanted a top quality meal.

I have been to Christner's so many times for dinner meetings that I can't believe I have not updated my review! Can I just say the filet mignon NEVER disappoints? It is always so juicy and cooked perfectly for my taste buds. The calamari is Chef's kiss- whatever sauce they use is tangy and scrumptious. Their bread is soft, airy, and goes perfectly hand in hand with their whipped butter. The red wine is strong and tastes amazing. I have always enjoyed coming here!

Christner's is similar to a lot of high end steakhouses and provides a fine dining experience with a wide variety of steak and seafood dishes. The service was fantastic, the server did a great job at explaining the menu and making recommendations. I went with a group and we all ordered different cuts, all cooked differently and everything came out perfectly. I would highly recommend the lobster Mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts as sides. The sides are family size and good to share. We also had the grouper bites and I really enjoyed them.

Surprise date night! Let's see if you are looking for old school steak house vibes, then you are at the right spot. We stared the evening with cocktails in the bar and I opted for the dirty martini...yum! Loved how they did not fill the glass to the brim, rather poured it into a smaller glass on ice! Hubby had an old fashion and said it put more hair on his chest. Moving on to dinner, I was a little disappointed. Great customer service, but the food not what I was expecting. The calamari appetizer, plentiful and tasty. I went for a wedge salad and the shrimp trio appetizer for my meal. The salad was tasty,however the sampler was lack luster. Forgot to snap a picture but it included 4 shrimp two cocktail, one marinated, and the other with a sauce. Way to much sauce on the plate for 4 shrimp. To the point it was overwhelming even after scrapping off as much as I could. The Mac n cheese was tasty, Brussel sprouts needed a little more color. Hubby had the ribeye and ordered it medium, however due to the hot plate it was served on, ended up being more on the well side. Overall not bad, but was expecting more based on previous recommendations.

Christners has been our go to spot for dinner with friends & family or just us two sitting at the bar. The steak and side dishes are always on point and never fail. The service is always exceptional and always pays attention to details and makes sure that everything is always perfect with your orders. Oh and don't forget their dessert menu!

Birthday dinner for my (adult) son. Son had a $90 Dry-aged prime ribeye. While the taste on this ribeye was outstanding (it really was)... $90 for a supposedly 22-ounce steak was high. Really, it just seemed like it wasn't actually a 22-ounce steak. But again, the taste was amazing. I went for the Prime Filet Trio, which came w/Bearnaise and a Peppercorn Gravy plus Chateau Potatoes. I ordered medium rare... because you should never do anything but medium rare (according to all of the chefs on Food Network)... and seriously, this Prime Filet Trio of steaks was LITERALLY the very best steak I have ever eaten. I mean this was one of the least expensive items on the menu and it was the best?? Yep. I was, no joke, dreaming of that Char for the next couple of days. We drove almost 2 hours to get to Orlando. The Char alone was worth the trip. Very tender and oh sooo good. Most entree items are a la carte on the menu. But the sides are big enough to share. We also got Brussel sprouts and creamed spinach. The creamed spinach w/cheese, mushrooms and bacon was out of this world. I won't eat creamed spinach any other way, now. Our other family had crab cakes and prime filet tips w/peppers and angel hair pasta. All very, very good. Staff were very attentive and personable. The waiter comped the dessert for the birthday... he offered that at the beginning of the meal. The Carrot Cake was amazing too. Super minor criticism: my ginger ale was not especially fizzy and lacked flavor. This really is more like a 4.5 star review. Definitely would have been 5 stars if the prime ribeye had had a bit more substance. Still, we will definitely go back.

This place has amazing food! You will pay for it but what a great place hidden in Orlando! We had a private room and the service was great and always on top of it! Made you feel like family! You won't regret it! Enjoy we had the crab claws and big ol steaks with it

Came here for our anniversary dinner. We were looking forward to a good steak dinner and it did not disappoint. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and were able to valet park easily. We went in, greeted right away, and were told our table would be ready in a few minutes. When walking to our table we did not realize how large the restaurant is inside with lots of different rooms to make it a large restaurant, but feels more intimate since all broken out in different areas. When we were taken to our table there were 2 glasses of sparkling wine on the table. My husband told me he added a note to the reservation so it was nice to see that they noticed it and were able to accommodate. Our server came over to greet us right away and wish us a Happy Anniversary. He explained the menus and options available to us. I opted for the filet mignon cooked medium rare and a side of the mushrooms. The mushrooms paired perfectly with the perfectly cooked steak. My husband had the bone in Ribeye rare and he said it was really good. We also tried the lobster mac and cheese and creamed spinach as sides. Of the entire meal these were my least favorite. I prefer a more cheesy/creamy spinach so this was good - just not my preference. The lobster mac and cheese again was not as cheesy as my preference would be, but it was good. There is a very large wine list. We had our choice narrowed down to a few choices and they were able send a Sommelier to help us chose from our narrowed selection. The wine we settled on was a perfect match. For dessert I had the crème brulee and my husband had the bread pudding. Both were really good and we enjoyed them with a nightcap. It was a great evening celebrating our anniversary.

I was nervous to see the location, but the reviews were so good- i was excited to try.We went with a group of 12. We literally ordered almost every appetizer and side to share with our meals. EVERYTHING was amazing! The steak was so perfect. The service was amazing! It really was a wonderful night.

We had a birthday dinner here with a decent sized group. The service was attentive, and they did a good job handling a table of 10. I had never been before, but heard it was one of the best steakhouses in Orlando. It's a traditional steakhouse atmosphere with dimly lit leather booths, wine lockers. and a dress code. Although I saw people fairly casually dressed so I don't think it's strongly enforced. We shared a lot of different menu items--the ahi tuna, calamari, crab cakes, onion rings as appetizers. For our main courses most selected a steak (a few filets, rib eyes, a grass-fed option. Some got the grilled salmon. We also got mushrooms, mashed potatoes, broccoli, baked potatoes, and lobster Mac and cheese. For dessert we ordered a slice of cheese cake, the chocolate mouse, and bread pudding . The portions are large and shareable. The onion rings were and baked potatoes were enormous. I'm taking a potato the size of an infant. But overall, I was quite underwhelmed by the food. I personally ordered a ribeye steak, medium rare for my main course. It was juicy, but a pretty thin slice, and overall I didn't think there was anything special about it. My dad ordered the beef Wellington. I tried a bite. It was not bad, but again nothing that blew my mind. The vegetable sides were kind of boring. I tried a bite of the lobster Mac and cheese. It was heavy on the baked on cheese, a little dry as opposed to creamy. I don't know, I really thought I would like it more. I left full, but feeling underwhelmed. It's not cheap either. To be honest, I enjoyed my ribeye steak from Linda's La Cantina more and that one is half the price of this.

This is our go to for special occasions. Always amazing service and food. We share the porterhouse with the fillet and the lobster Mac is a winner.

This is my FIRST HAND experience with this business! The management is poor, the food is terrible (had the crab cakes) and they own the business next door (American Legion Post 19). THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY NOT VETS! They are slumlords at this place (to the Vets)as the building is rotting, has air conditioning leaks, electrical issues, and I was personally told by Dolly (who stated she was a manager) that they are a nightmare to deal with. I won't even get into the fact that you can smoke there and it's overall disgusting. They even tried to have my first review removed instead of reaching out to me about my experience like most business do.

I've always heard the hype about this restaurant but never had to chance to stop by until now. I have to say that everything that was told me about this restaurant was the truth! As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a warm welcome from the hostess. I was able to grab a seat at the bar I enjoyed every minute of it. The bartenders were friendly and informative about the entire menu. I was really impressed with the portions with their drinks and food! My left overs tasted like I ordered from the restaurant that same day because it was thoroughly marinated and seasoned. The ambiance caters to family gatherings and if you want to grab a drink with a friend. I look forward to going back soon.

Finally tried Christner's Steakhouse recently to celebrate my husband's birthday, and it was a great choice! It has the old school steakhouse feel with the darker ambiance but my husband and I strangely (or not?) enjoy that. We ended up bringing our own bottle of wine for a $30 corkage fee. The shrimp trio was three large shrimp with different sauces. We thought at least two of them were going to be hot but all three were shrimp cocktail style but that was okay. The steaks were incredible and lived up to the hype. My filet was slightly undercooked but tender and flavorful. We paired the steak with lobster and it was to die for. Came with melted butter but you really didn't need it. It was a splurge as the price was market price and cost around 100 for the lobster alone. We tried the mandarin orange cake for dessert and it was a huge slice and complimentary. Ate most of it the next day and it was very sweet and delicious. Service was excellent. Overall, I would definitely come back here for another steak and splurge for the lobster!

Recently went to Christner's for the first time with my wife's family. If you are in the mood for an exceptional dining experience, you have to get a reservation at Christner's! For apps, we had lobster bisque, bread and crab cakes. The crab cakes were full of massive crab chunks and very little filler. We couldn't get enough of them. The bisque was also very creamy and had large chunks of lobster. I ordered the 22oz. Bone-in ribeye, I barely made a dent. It was cooked to perfection and came out hot! I was able to try the veal chop as well, you really can't go wrong with anything here. We had the creamed corn, spinach and Mac and cheese for sides. Each was well made and delicious. I highly recommend that you request to sit in Dee's section when dining here. She delivered a great experience for us and was such a gracious host. I can't wait to go back!

Came here to try an Orlando staple. My brother and uncle has said on multiple occasions that this place is the real deal. It was certainly not an overstatement. This place is probably Orlando's best kept secret. In a land of high end steak chain restaurants, this stands out. I know the owner previously was affiliated with Del Friscos, but the ambiance, food, and service, still stand leaps and bounds above its cousin. The building is an unassuming, non spectacular old Ramada looking facility. Don't let the appearance deceive you. Service is impeccable from the start. The calamari was Shanghai style - which meant it had some Thai sweet chili sauce and onions, very tasty. My strip was cooked perfectly and was amazingly tender. Finished the meal with a mandarin orange cake which was very good. It's a bit sweet but the cake is very well made.

First time at Christiners and it was a great experience. There was a live pianist and it was great background noise. Nice steak house ambience. The waiter was very attentive and cleared off the table in a timely manner throughout my time there. I got to try the Shanghai style fried calamari. It was fried very well and the sauce was pretty good. It was a bit sweet for me though. The waiter was nice enough to suggest a half portion, which was plenty. Also, the wedge salad was refreshing. I ordered the filet trio, which were 3oz each. It came with two different sauces. One of peppercorn gravey and bearnaise sauce. I didn't care for both of them. It was very strong and overly powerful for my taste. My entree also came with chateau potatoes. Very huge portion and good for at least 3 people. My steak I asked for medium well, but it was actually well done. The waiter did ask to cut the steak to see if was right. I didn't want to bother with them sending it back so I just sucked it up and chewed on it. As for dessert, the mandarin orange cake sounded good. It was really good. I enjoyed the cake and the ice cream that came with it. The orange sauce was delcious as well. The icing was a bit much for me, so I ate around that.

Best filet mignon ever! Was not disappointed with the steaks, ribeye and filet mignon. Will definitely be back next time I am in Orlando.

Never have had a bad meal at Christner's. The service is always spot on even when they are ultra busy. The look and feel of the place is exactly as you would expect - traditional steakhouse decor and charm, with wide ranging selections of steaks and excellent wine list.

We came here for an anniversary dinner, and they knocked it out of the park. We were seated in a booth by ourselves though there were 2 other booths in that same section. It was so nice to have privacy and it felt a little like we had our own private room. The service is spectacular from the guy cutting our strip steak to the guy clearing our table flipping the silverware and catching it in his hand. Our server was Cameron, and he knew what he was doing. My husband's drink was always filled and he helped me decide on a red wine, the surf and turf crab claw, the broccoli side dish, and the mandarin orange cake. Beyond setting the stage, they make the softest bread here. They could do a side hustle of selling that bread, and you know I am not even a bread person. The strip steak was so juicy and flavorful cooked at the right temperature. The claw was so good on its own and with the lemon and butter. Cake is my weakness and this one is getting added to one of my favorites. I am a sweets gal and love to bake but cakes are a challenge for me, and so I give high praise when it's done right. The texture, sweetness level and flavor really hit the mark and that sauce it's like the milk of tres leches but orange flavored, taking it to the next level. I am sure if we lived here we would be back a lot.

Fantastic! Can't recommend this place enough. Great usda prime dry aged steaks. Do yourself a favor and get the seared tuna appetizer. It is to die for! Great service with that old school steakhouse feel.

I had this food almost 20 years ago when I first lived hear. When I moved to NYC I compared every steak house I went to to this and I never found it's equal. Hands down one of the best classic steak houses you will ever encounter. Nice sized martinis, good bourbon flight, and great wine selection. The service is classic, not over bearing, but great. And the ambiance is perfect old school steak house. No wrong answers hear
