Great way to spend the 4th of July! Sat on the rooftop patio for first time and amazing views of Alki beach and Puget Sound! My server Mary was outstanding and gave excellent service! Nice to see owner Petro and always a smile on his face. Thanks for a great lunch today!!

We stopped in kind of late around 8:30 PM, and even though the place was pretty full, we were seated upstairs on what turned out to be a beautiful evening. The atmosphere was relaxed, with just enough buzz from the crowd. We ordered a pizza and a bacon blue burger with fries (and tartar sauce, of course). Both were phenomenal. The pizza might just be the best I’ve ever had—perfectly baked with flavorful Italian (or maybe Greek?) sausage that was absolutely delightful. The crust had that perfect balance of crispness and chew, and every bite was bursting with flavor. The burger? Perfectly cooked, juicy, and topped with thick-cut bacon that was crispy without being overdone. Fries were spot on—golden and crispy—and dipping them in tartar sauce took them over the top. It was one of those meals where every detail felt done right.

Absolutely love this place for weekend brunch when it’s nice outside. It has the look and feel of family establishment. The staff is fun and inviting and is always there to take care of you. Their food is good the portions are big. I highly recommend the standard breakfast plate or trying one of the egg Benedict. If you get there in the afternoon they have seating on the roof as well which provides a nice view.

Google
Love love the food here. The Greek sampler was great with plenty of little bites to choose from. We order a pizza and it was spectacular! The crust was super good and not to dough-“y”. The cheese was perfect. Not to much and not to little. The toppings we picked were to kind of replicate the Greek pizza that we used to order from Pegasus Pizza before it closed up. The pizza was so good my eyes rolled!! Service was great. Atmosphere I LOVE because they have those garage doors that open up the space so you feel like you’re outside when you’re really inside. Those doors were open and it was a gorgeous day out! I will never say no if someone asks if I want to come here. Yes! Yes! Let’s go!

Cod and chips was so-so. Crust did not stay on very well and not the best texture. Had to wait extra long to get my order. Too expensive

We came in during rush hour but were still served fairly quickly. We ordered calzones, which were great. It's awesome that they have gluten-free pizzas. We ended up having the chicken pesto one, which was pretty tasty. They also have outdoor seating with views of Alki Beach. Great experience overall!

Google
This was a door dash delivery, but I wanted to comment on the food. First time ordered from here and will definitely order again. Got the sm patro's special, calamari, and chicken wings. All were excellent. Lots of calamari and wings. Small pizza is plenty for two. The picture doesn't do it justice, but there was only one piece left. It's that good!

Yelp
Came in for the first time and was SO impressed. Let me start with our awesome server who made our experience so positive- Nicholas. What an awesome guy! So friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Food was great as well! A great family restaurant - we will definitely be back!

Yelp
I find the menu of this place genuinely confusing if it is indeed Greek. There's a serious amount of Italian food on here and the pizza looked really good whenever we saw it delivered to other tables. I was shocked they did not have falafel. Ordered Greek fries and the tri dip plate with pita. Can't really go wrong with either of those especially with a gorgeous view.

Yelp
Christo's is truly one of a kind! I'm not sure if this place is family run, but you can certainly feel the love in the food, in the atmosphere, and in the service. The menu is littered with traditional American plates with heavy Greece and Italian influences. Come in for Sunday football, come in for a major EPL match, or come in if you're simply hungry, looking for stellar pizza, pita, or a solid brunch plate. If you find yourself walking along Alki and think "should we go in there?" You absolutely should.

Yelp
Came here for New Years brunch after the Alki Polar Plunge! Friendly service and very tasty brunch menu!

Yelp
I had their pizza for the first time and it was great! Really nice and very tasty. I look forward to trying their other menu items in the near future

Yelp
Delicious! We were referred to Christo's by a local resident. We were not disappointed. Portions were huge. We were so stuffed. Staff were amazing. We definitely needed a walk on Alki after!

Yelp
Straight up one of the best pizzas I have had in Seattle. This is a pie of righteousness and I devoured it along with a friend. It might not be super beautiful but it is super flavorful and whoops the bejesus out of any chain pizza. When I sunk my teeth into that thick cheesy goodness...that Italian sausage, that tomato sauce, everything on that pizza served a purpose of amazingness. This isn't a thin crust pizza those have their purpose, this isn't a Chicago style pizza, this is a MF Petro's Special at Christos!!!! Best Pizza I have had all year!

Yelp
Great value for the price, especially on Alki- a rare find! I had the chicken gyro, and it was delicious. The ratio of chicken to veggies was just right, and the tzatziki was tangy, and creamy, but not in a smothering way. The pita itself was heavenly, warm and chewy dough with a mild wheaty sweetness to it, and not oily. It didn't get soggy either. Their salad is good, although a bit heavy on the feta- if you don't like it, ask them to leave it out. The pizza had a good balance of salt, fat, and balance. The flavors balanced each other out and the spice level was just right, with crispy pepperoni. Although it took a while for our food to come, our server was very attentive and gave good recommendations. 8/10, would recommend!

Yelp
Great service and food selections. We had a large party with a wide age range and everyone left happy! Thanks for making room for us.

Yelp
Ummm I would be lying if I said the food here was amazing. I do love the service and the view which is why I keep coming back every year. Here are some constructive feedback on the food: Normally the fish and chips is their best thing but it was out that day. Clam chowder: 4/5 this was the best thing I ordered. Slightly more watered down compared to Dukes but honestly the flavor was pretty amazing and far above expectations! Caesar salad with chicken: 3/5 the chicken wasn't tender enough and the sauce was alright. This should be a very simple dish and I feel like I've had better at airport convenience store. Pasta: 3.5/5 our nice server recommended the creamy tomato sauce with chicken. This was honestly not bad but still tasted too mild for my liking. I would still recommend it. Their blue moon draft beer was delicious and I highly recommend the fish and chips here!

Yelp
If I have to conclude the food experience, I think it's alright. Not the best but not bad! Let's start with hot chocolate, it was barely stirred well, and still filled with cocoa powder. The four cheese pizza tasted pretty decent, but at the same time it kinda taste like store brought pizza DiGiorno brand. I meant Just tasted like it, didn't say it is. Smoke salmon egg Benedict is alright, the eggs cooks perfectly! The bread was perfectly toasted. But they added too much sauce in this Benedict, and the salmon is a bit too dry. The waitress is super nice and polite! Before we leave she would say thank you to us and made me feel she truly welcoming us and hoped we had a good meal. I really like her enthusiasm! 5/5 for her!

Yelp
Had a table outside, enjoyed the sunshine and view. The gyros were delicious, we got the traditional with lamb/beef and Greek fries.. calamari was good too!

Barbara W.

Yelp
Cristo's is wonderful! It was started by a Greek family who live upstairs. Always clean, always fresh well prepared food. Pleasant servers. If you are lucky you will get to see Mama one of the original owners. What an amazing person.

Yelp
Food is good and the bartender was awesome. Wish I could remember the gentleman's name. Unfortunately, the bar was under stocked and he was extremely creative and gracious in developing satisfying cocktails. My primary critique is a disheveled sweaty man slurring his words (whom appeared to be the owner's son) took my sunglasses and cellphone behind the bar twice without my permission when they were directly in front of me next to my drink. I caught him on both occasions, had to inquire several times to several staff members to explain I never left my stool and that my belongings had not been moved by me, they looked everywhere around the bar, only to find them with the assumed owner's son's belongings both times. If you're not interested in donating your personal belongings without your knowledge, or having them pirated, I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Yelp
We stopped in a few nights ago for dinner, service was great and the food was so tasty! The Chicken Pesto Special pizza was so yummy and I'd definitely definitely order it again. Others in our party had the gyro plate and they all said the meat was very moist. The Spagetti and meatballs were all a big hit. We'll definitely be back for another meal.

Yelp
Found this in my draft and decided to post it after 7 years lol. This review was written in April, 2017 - not sure if they still have the same owner and management team. --- Visiting this place during spring break, my boyfriend and I were the only minorities in the restaurant at the time. After waiting for 30 minutes or so, we got seated at the rooftop which was super nice, and thought the wait was not too bad for such a crowded but beautiful day. We waited for another 30 minutes, despite seeing other tables who came after us got served or at least got their drinks ready, nobody had ever came to take our order. We now tried to make contact with server #1 and he said someone would assist us shorty. Another 20 minutes passed by, now it's been more than one hour since we arrived and not even a cup of water on our table. We're the only people on the rooftop with nothing on our table and nobody thought it's odd?? We attempted to talk to server #2, she apologized since it's a busy day and suggested us to go downstairs bc there were more servers working down there - perhaps we would get better service? Bumped and just wanted to leave at this point but boyfriend convinced me to stay since we'd been here for a while already. Waited for another 30 minutes and still, nobody came to take our order so we finally left. We honestly didn't understand why... yes it's sunny that day so obviously the beach was packed so as the restaurant but every single table got served pretty quickly from what I observed. I hope it's not because we're the only minorities at the time.

Yelp
Really yummy gyro salad. Good vibe. Nice staff. Love the lemon chicken soup as well. And the pita and hummus

Yelp
The pizza was delicious and the service was great. And a bonus view of the water! We got a special smiley face tomato.

Yelp
Don't now if the server was having a bad day but she was so rude and not accommodating. We had to ask her multiple times to bring us straw. I just felt a bad vibe coming here with my family

Yelp
Friendly service. Great views. We loved the pizza and had so much leftover, my hubby ate it for days!

Yelp
I'm always looking for new breakfast spots in West Seattle, so I finally tried Christo's On Alki. They open at 8:30 AM on Saturdays and Sundays. There were plenty of parking spots around that area in the morning. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we were there, but we did notice several customers who seemed like regulars. They were greeted by first name and the server knew their orders. Christo's offers a wide selection of breakfast items: omelettes/scrambles, benedicts, sandwiches, pancakes, french toast, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, etc. I decided to order the Smoked Salmon Benedict: poached eggs, smoked salmon, and Hollandaise sauce on an english muffin served with hash browns. I enjoyed my food and it was a generous portion for one person. Our server was great. She took our order correctly, kept our coffee cups full, brought the food to our table promptly, and answered all of my random questions with a smile. I thought my breakfast was great, but the next time we come here, I might try their lunch or dinner. They specialize in Greek food, so I'd like to try some of those specialties. It was raining on the day I was there, but they are right on the beach, so I bet you can get some amazing views on a good day!

Yelp
Yummy! I had the Spanakopita and a cup of Avgolomeno soup, and my fiance had one of the hot subs. We ordered a side of meatballs for the kiddo. Everything was hands-down delicious! The kiddo finished all her meatballs eagerly--a first! The Spanakopita was clearly fresh and homemade, and the portions were BIG. Great value for the money! We also received good service, despite the place being very busy (I overheard a waitress saying it was the busiest evening she had ever seen). Ambiance was very homey and cozy, diner meets casual beachfront. It's a long drive for us, but we will be back.

Yelp
The food here is always AMAZING. I have never had a bad meal here, everything on this menu is so delicious. the people who work here are the nicest people and always so attentive to how I am when I come in. if you need a good breakfast, lunch or dinner place, Christo's is the ABSOLUTE place to come!!

Yelp
I have only tried this place via takeout during the pandemic. I did find it a little pricey, which I think makes sense given it's location/the view. Avgelomono Soup $4.95 (cup): The lemon flavor was present, but not overbearing. I enjoyed it! Pita with Skordalia $9.95: Personally, I would have preferred a stronger garlic flavor. We have been laying on the garlic in our at home cooking so that may explain my bias. They are very generous with the amount of pita. Half Greek Salad $8.95 + Gyro Meat $4.50 + Extra Dressing $0.50: I asked for extra dressing because running out of dressing/sauce is one of my top fears in life. Turns out, the amount of dressing they give us enough. The dressing was tangy, and gyro meat was moist. This would make a good lunch salad! Souvlaki Lamb $22.95 + Extra Tzatziki Sauce $1.50: Two skewers of lamb, and we chose Greek fries for our side. Extra tzatziki sauce due to fear as described above. Again, their default serving of tzatziki may have been enough, but it's nice having extra for the fries and all that pita! The fries weren't as crispy as I'd like, but it might've gotten soggy on the way home. The lamb wasn't memorable, and I felt the meat portion was a bit small for the price. ***** My Star Ratings: 1 Star - Terrible. Just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars - Meh. Unlikely for me to return. 3 Stars - OK. Open to coming back, but wouldn't go out of my way to. 4 Stars - Yummy! Will definitely return if I haven't already. 5 Stars - AMAZING!!! Would plan my day or even a trip around eating here.

Yelp
This a place lived by Alki locals and outsiders equally. I went their for my birthday and ordered Clam Chowder, chicken strips and Greek pizza. Everything were delicious. I was made to wait an inordinate amount of time for garlic brea, so taking off a star.

Téa A.

Yelp
Best service ever. Family owned, GREAT FOOD. Brought the fam and was well taken care of.

Yelp
We did a trip down to Alki beach and wanted something small and shareable for two people for dinner. Christo's ended up being the perfect place: - Service was super friendly and attentive, even when we didn't get a lot of food - The pizza itself was great, we got a 10" make-your-own pizza with jalapeño, onion and green peppers. It was warm, a pretty generous serving and tasted good. - The view from the balcony at sunset was gorgeous and well worth it

Yelp
A friend and I met up to enjoy alki on a sunny day and well of course we're always in the mood to eat so we decided on this restaurant after reviewing their menu. The young woman seated us right by the door and I asked to try two different wines a Greek wine and an Italian wine that I had never heard of and the bartender allowed me to sample each, the Rose had a bunch of stuff floating in it not sure what, not even sure why it was sent out to me that way After ordering food the wait was not bad maybe about 15-20 minutes for Alaska cod and my friend ordered a salmon burger with Greek, Cora was wonderful friendly and empathetic to our concerns shared however there was another waitress when asked to speak to the owner she told me I could get up and go to the bar because the owner was playing bartender I advised her you know I'm the customer he should be coming to me, that's the way that I felt. My reasoning why I felt this way is I've worked in the restaurant business and I've always went to the customer. As my friend went into sharing our concern, we were sitting by the door so we were hearing the waitress turn down customers of color for seating and the restroom without explanation but when customers of non-color come in they were not only seated but allowed to use the restroom as well. There was also one gentleman in particular who was roaming around he did not order food he was acting very odd roaming in and out of the restaurant hoovering over people he was allowed to use the restroom!! This was our observation based upon what we saw and heard because once again we were seated by the front door entrance, that we witnessed people of color being turned down while others were seated and allowed to use the restroom. So when we started to share our concerns with the owner not only did he show up at our table very defensive and bothered but I had to interrupt my friend and let her know that he was not interested in hearing us not only did he make clear with his first facial expression and body language he made it clear with his response!!! The owner's reply to the concern shared that what do we want him to do he can't control or see everything that's going on and that's when I said we would like the check so we can go!! My appetite people was ruined which is rare Upon leaving there was no acknowledgment for our business but after all why would we be thanked for business if there was no concern for the concerns we shared with the business. Fries were cold but our waitress Cora promptly got us fresh fries and I want to highlight Cora was never the problem she actually wanted to hear our concern which we shared with her anyway but we did let her know if the owners not interested we don't expect anything to change and won't be back because clearly our business was not valued we spent about $55 for a table of two and of course we did tip Cora but once again I will not be back due to the owner's attitude!!! Location is on alki, street parking people and enjoy at your own risk maybe you'll have a better experience than I did,

Yelp
Cute little cafe on Alki beach. We went in for breakfast and ordered the biscuits and gravy and the salmon eggs Benedict. Super delicious biscuit and the gravy was creamy and perfect.

Yelp
Solid goto on Alki. Upstairs outside is the best seat for people watching. Service is always excellent. Pizza so so good.

Melody S.

Yelp
Enjoyed brunch here! Arrived around lunchtime and sat on the upper patio to enjoy some sun. Make sure you have some sunglasses because the sun on the white paper menus is really bright! I ordered the veggie Eggs Benedict which had great flavor and was appropriately portioned. Some places drown the Benedict in Hollandaise like they're trying to hide something but not Christo's which I enjoyed a lot - thank you! Good for groups and tourists and all folks really. It has views and food comes out pretty quick. Servers were running like a team inside and up to the patio. It's a lot of space to cover and they ran food and service with a smile. Really appreciate it and will be back next time we are in West Seattle!
google avatar

Debbie G.

Yelp
Yummy food, never a wait, friendly staff/owners and an amazing location. They are a bit on the expensive side, but you really are paying for that gorgeous view! Love the Benedict's--lemony hollandaise sauce. Yum!

Sharyn K.

Yelp
Food: Gyro w/ a side of fries Gyro had fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and onions. Fries were topped with blue cheese and came with a lemon slice. Gyro tasted clean and the blue cheese on top of the fries was just right. The crispness to soft ratio for the fries was perf! Customer Service: Super friendly and accommodating. We got our to go order fast and they included plates and utensils for us :,) Price: $$, A bit pricey for a gyro but worth it. The gyro had a good amount of meat on it and a lot of fries were given Atmosphere: Outdoor dinning is available w/ a view of Alki, inside the restaurant get relaxing and had garage style walls that can lift up, somewhere I definitely want to dine in when we're no longer in a pandemic

Olivera T.

Yelp
A thoroughly OK (at best) place that capitalizes strongly on its location. I can't say I've been especially impressed by anything I've eaten here, and the pizza is notably mediocre (and absurdly overpriced). It's fine, it's a good place to hang out, and it's not impossible to get a table on a nice day... but the prices they charge don't make much sense. I'd rather go somewhere nicer for an $18 burger. Nice owners though.

Yelp
Pizza was flavorful, it was thick lol. Mozzarella sticks is what you expect they would taste like. Food was good.

Yelp
Everything is amazing. 1) The food. Best Caesar salad. We split a half and it was huge enough for us to both have healthy side servings. I hate when these are too tart. This was pleasantly vibrant but not too sour. Very very good. We had the pizza, the Petro's Special. We subbed jalapeños for mushrooms. So delicious and not too hot. The crust was incredible. The very end was so crunchy like a cracker on the outside but still soft on the inside. The sauce was incredible. So savory. Not too sweet at all, like some. We ordered Mai Tai's to drink and they were so good. Not too sweet. Super well balanced. Everything was perfect. 2) Ambiance. The place is cute. Casual. From my seat I could see a half dozen TV's so perfect for football season but the volume wasn't up so it wasn't distracting unless you let it be. The bar top was having great conversation with the waiter so they clearly knew him. Super friendly. Our waiter was Petros, one of the founder sons. He was so nice to us and everyone around in there tonight. Great view of the water too on Alki. 3) Community. The family has owned this place since 1996. The matriarch and patriarch were wandering the tables while their kids worked the place. It was so heartwarming watching them all interact with each other and the community of folks who came in. They clearly know and love everyone who walks in the door. There were two tables of "kids" while we were in there. Both they treated with the utmost respect and warmth. The high schoolers had clearly been there before. The second group was a table of three ~eight year olds who came in by themselves. The whole place watched in astonishment at their manners. After talking with Petros he never planned on making them pay. Just wanted to give them the exercise of the experience. A guest at the bar was so impressed with them she slipped them some cash on the way out to make sure the restaurant got paid - she clearly knew what Petros was up to :) They paid like champions and had the whole restaurant's admiration. Watching how the owners and family interacted with their guests was so heartwarming. All while providing some of the most delicious food we've had in ages makes this one of my most treasured spots. I'm so sad I've lived here this long before supporting this restaurant. They deserve so much more notoriety than they get.

Yelp
I tried the 808 pizza and loved the sweet and spicyNess of it. And wow the crust was so light and crispy at the same time. It was a perfect amount of everything. I found myself recommending it to people passing by that we're looking for a place to eat. I can't wait to go back to try it again.
google avatar

Yelp
The owner is usually around to make sure her staff are providing and excellent product. I've had two recent visits both were amazing and the staff has been efficient and cheerful. They have taken steps to allow for social distancing while still enjoying the views.

Yelp
We had an amazing time , the food was soooooooo good , the place was tastefully designed , amazing staff .. looking forward to comeback very soon !!

Yelp
Great family owned restaurant. Fresh ingredients to make delicious pizza, salads, burgers and some Greek specials. Great breakfast on weekends too.

Yelp
We've come for lunch and dinner, but this was our first brunch! We loved it. We sat outside on a nice day and the view was beautiful. I honestly love that the owners are present every time I come. The service is always amazing and the food is yummy.

Marina P.

Yelp
Cute little spot in the main part of Alki. Really liked the fact that they have an upstairs balcony with umbrellas for shade. We didn't get greeted for about 15 min, but that was okay because our server CORY was very prompt and efficient. Ordered the Dolmathes (stuffed grape leaves) and the aveglomeno soup. Really liked the dolmathes, took me by surprised that they were cold, but it was still delicious. It comes with tzatziki sauce and pita bread. Never tried the aveglomeno soup before but it was basically chicken noodle soup with lemon juice in it. Didn't know what to expect of that but was nice with dipping pita bread in.

Bobby J.

Yelp
Food was ok, service was good. Rooftop was nice. I think people come here more for the ambiance then the food. Would give it a 3 but the server was nice and rooftop. Dave would probably rate this pizza a 6.1 one bite everybody knows the rules

Douglas L.

Yelp
Nice place, great staff and good food. We went there for breakfast and it was really good. Planing on going there for dinner. Will go back!
google avatar

Jessica H.

Yelp
Excellent location, mediocre food for the price. We all tried the pasta dishes, and were satisfied, but nothing to write home about. The rooftop patio is what makes this place cool, right on the boardwalk. Drinks were great, service was great.
google avatar

Yelp
This is definitely is my top 5 favorite restaurants of all time The best thing IMO is the pesto based pasta they have, which I will be attaching a picture of. Don't forget to add salmon!! Yummy!

Brittany A.

Yelp
Very family friendly type restaurant. You walk in and can see the owner greeting patrons by name. Very warm environment. We had breakfast on a Sunday. We got sat right away and ordered our usual when trying a new place biscuits and gravy and EggsBenedict. My wife took one bite of her biscuits and gravy and stopped. Not pleased with the eggs or the biscuits she only finished her hash browns. She said the eggs tasted like cleaner and she couldn't really say what wasn't appealing about the B&G (biscuits and gravy) but she couldn't take another bite. My Benedict was mediocre. The ham was delicious but kinda tasted like day old reheated ham. The Hollandaise sauce was very thick. Almost gravy like Didn't taste horrible but wasn't really tasty. The prices were on the high end but then again that's the cost for eating on Alki. Probably won't come back. Bummer.

Amrakx M.

Yelp
Friendly service, warm cozy ambiance, and excellent pizza. This place has been on Alki beach for many many years and is always a welcoming gathering place for friends and family.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place, it's family owned and the food is always delicious! Highly recommend if your looking for a place that's warm, cozy, and makes you feel like your apart of the family.
