"A Piece of Pagoda Paradise A journey to Son Tra Peninsula is a must for many reasons, not least the opportunity to visit Linh Ung Pagoda. The temple is the largest in Danang and is spectacularly located on a knoll with fantastic views back towards China Beach and the Marble Mountains. It is impossible to miss the pagoda as it is located right next door to the giant white Goddess of Mercy statue."

Really beautiful place with a special atmosphere. I’m Christian but felt the power of it. I liked to visit temples, walk around, relax with amazing sea view. You can see there sweet monkeys too, although there is info about prohibition of feeding them. There are stray dogs who will be happy if you give them some food. I saw how man washed one of them, dog was so happy. Easy to catch Grab or InDrive to come there or come back. I would advise to come before 12pm since after we saw there a lot of people.

I’ve been up here a few times and it’s a great spot to go for sunset. The views on the way up are amazing and riding a bike up the windy road through clean nature air never disappoints. Likely to see monkeys on the way up, if not just go drive past the entrance for about 10 minutes and you’ll see them somewhere for sure. There are a few ornate temples / pagodas up here and it’s a very serene spot to walk around and unwind.

You can get a wrap-around for free at the temple entrance, to cover your legs if you are wearing shorts. Just remember to remove your shoes, hat and shades before you enter the temple. Calm and beautiful place with great views. The big Lady Buddha statue is amazing to see up close. Watch out for the monkeys, they might snatch your shades/ wallet/hat.

Nice experience and scenery. The road leading to the location is paved with beautiful scenery as well. There is free motorbike parking. Please make sure to wear something appropriate as a tourist. Short dresses are fine as they will provide long skirt covers when entering temple buildings. But there was a tourist who wore a complete see through robe which is not at all appropriate to a temple. As a tourist and/or foreigners in a country, you should always respect the local culture and people.

Love this place. But not the crowded square in front of the majestic statue, but the lovely quiet hidden gardens behind it. There is a beautiful oasis to stay for hours and simply switch off!!! Fantastic 😍

Infamous lady buddha was beautiful and clean. It was a very busy tourist and locals visiting location. They gave coverings for anyone with short pants or tank tops. A quick visit on the moped and there was even free motorbike parking with a guard. 50k full A4 size pictures. I also drove to the pagoda for a quick visit. There are no tickets, the temple is free to visit but you can give offerings.

I recently visited Linh Ung Pagoda, and it was truly a beautiful and memorable experience. The pagoda is absolutely stunning, with elegant architecture and intricate details that reflect the spiritual atmosphere of the place. It was also incredibly peaceful the kind of calm that makes you want to just sit, breathe, and take it all in. We ended up spending almost two hours there, just walking around, taking photos, and soaking in the serenity. The complex is huge, with many paths, gardens, and statues to explore. In fact, the place is so big that by the end of it, we were honestly a bit tired from all the walking but it was totally worth it. One thing to note is that it’s quite far from the city center, so be prepared for a longer ride to get there. But the journey pays off, especially because the pagoda offers a breathtaking view of the coastline. Standing there and looking out over the ocean was one of the highlights of the visit. If you’re visiting Da Nang and have time for a peaceful retreat away from the city, Linh Ung Pagoda is definitely worth a visit. It’s a perfect mix of beauty, tranquility, and natural scenery.

It is a peaceful religious place to visit in Da Nang. It is worth visiting as it situated near Da Nang just 10 min drive and there is breath taking view to sea and Da Nang City from mountain. On the way to Lady Buddha, there is places to visit like Sontra Marina, hidden coffee shop called Cafe Du Musee and view point. There are bonsai plants in the compound and so you should give half a day to visit all these places along the way. On the way back, we drink cane sugar juice besides the beach to relax our legs 🥰 I recommend to visit in the evening than in the morning as the weather is hot 🥵
