"A Piece of Pagoda Paradise A journey to Son Tra Peninsula is a must for many reasons, not least the opportunity to visit Linh Ung Pagoda. The temple is the largest in Danang and is spectacularly located on a knoll with fantastic views back towards China Beach and the Marble Mountains. It is impossible to miss the pagoda as it is located right next door to the giant white Goddess of Mercy statue."

Really beautiful place with a special atmosphere. I’m Christian but felt the power of it. I liked to visit temples, walk around, relax with amazing sea view. You can see there sweet monkeys too, although there is info about prohibition of feeding them. There are stray dogs who will be happy if you give them some food. I saw how man washed one of them, dog was so happy. Easy to catch Grab or InDrive to come there or come back. I would advise to come before 12pm since after we saw there a lot of people.

I’ve been up here a few times and it’s a great spot to go for sunset. The views on the way up are amazing and riding a bike up the windy road through clean nature air never disappoints. Likely to see monkeys on the way up, if not just go drive past the entrance for about 10 minutes and you’ll see them somewhere for sure. There are a few ornate temples / pagodas up here and it’s a very serene spot to walk around and unwind.

Very busy place on the weekends, but the parking and entry is free and the place is quite big, so it does not feel that much as tourist place. You can get pretty much to Pagoda with motorbike. I lost lost my parking ticket, had to pay 25k, which was ok.

Nice experience and scenery. The road leading to the location is paved with beautiful scenery as well. There is free motorbike parking. Please make sure to wear something appropriate as a tourist. Short dresses are fine as they will provide long skirt covers when entering temple buildings. But there was a tourist who wore a complete see through robe which is not at all appropriate to a temple. As a tourist and/or foreigners in a country, you should always respect the local culture and people.

You can get a wrap-around for free at the temple entrance, to cover your legs if you are wearing shorts. Just remember to remove your shoes, hat and shades before you enter the temple. Calm and beautiful place with great views. The big Lady Buddha statue is amazing to see up close. Watch out for the monkeys, they might snatch your shades/ wallet/hat.

Vast spaced pagoda set in the mountains and forests of the Son Tra Peninsula, and home to Vietnam's tallest Buddha statue. This is a remarkable pagoda for its wonderful location, stunning architecture, with many garden and peaceful areas to take in the serenity of the landscape, buildings and incredible sculptures.

During my visit to the temple, I found a place buzzing with tourists. The temple has a spacious parking lot that accommodates plenty of buses, along with a souvenir shop right at the entrance. The 67-meter-tall Guanyin statue towers over the site. Surrounded by lush greenery, it provides a stunning view of Đà Nẵng Bay. The area also features a bonsai park, perfect for a leisurely stroll. A nine-story pagoda and a three-arched gateway, both facing the sea, enhance the site's beauty and spiritual vibe 🙏. Despite the tourist crowds, this temple blends spirituality and natural splendor in a truly unique way.
