Chubby’s Burgers

First time customer, I saw it online and thought week I'll just stop by and grab us something. Nice people and Great customer service. I order some chip fries for the 20 minute drive home. I think $9.75 but Wow!! I was so disappointed! More comes in a bag of the $1 individual lays. Granted they were better than I've had before. I mean Really Chubby, maybe spend less on the nice to go containers and put more than less than half in the small container that I received. I know potatoes don't cost that much and I make them at home. So the Burgers were as Good as I had hoped. The downside was that the tomatoes were white, crunchy and tasted like a turnip. The lettuce tasted like medicine, although I know some things are out of your control. Maybe switch brands or something. The portion was ok esp for the price. $42 for two plates, chips and a sweet tea to go. I hope this was a one off! I did notice that the dine in customers seemed Happy and it was good vibes throughout!

Chubby's serves smash burgers. I chose the mushroom burger with bacon, Swiss and garlic aoili sauce ( they didn't skimp on the bacon and it was thick sliced). It was delicious! My side order was fries and they too were delicious. The seasoning on the fries made me skip using ketchup! Lunch was delicious! Our waitress was Taylor and she was so sweet and attentive! Kept our sweet tea full and checked on us often. She was friendly and courteous. Once we ordered it did not take long to get our food. The atmosphere was great. Loved the music playing and there are plenty TV's to watch different sports if you choose. Absolutely will return to this place to eat. Best smash burger I've ever eaten thus far. I thought the prices were fair too.

My whole family loves Chubby’s! Their burgers are hands down the best in the Columbia area. I’m always craving their Chubby’s Burger with the sweet jam, it’s incredible! The Chubby Fries are so unique and flavorful; we recommend getting them half floppy. The kids’ mini sliders are also amazing. They’re not your typical flavorless kids’ meal with a strange looking patty, these actually taste great and are a perfect portion. I also love that burgers come with fries included; so many places make you buy them separately. We tried the pickle fries this time and wow! They were gone in about three minutes. On our last visit, we got the cheese curds, which are another family favorite. The customer service is always super friendly, and it’s such a great spot to bring kids. We’ve never had a bad experience. Overall, we highly recommend Chubby’s!

DELICIOUS. AMAZING 1st experience. Not a long wait, awesome customer service, chill atmosphere and good music. My new go-to for burgers. I was gonna take a picture of the food, but I was so amazed at how good it looked. I just said Grace started eating. But to add context, they give you plenty of food. So good I obviously barely left a crumb. Finally, somewhere good in Blythewood to eat. God bless you guys and gals.🙏🏾❤️😋

Fun atmosphere, great wait staff and good food. We got burgers, fries and chips & they were really good. I would recommend getting the two patty choice as the burgers and thin(smashed) & it wasn’t enough protein for all the carbs!

We wanted something non-chain on our drive through and Chubby’s was a great choice! The mushroom burger & chips hit the spot and my wife loved her Chubby’s burger & fries. Staff were super friendly and portions were generous. We will definitely stop again next trip though!!

Me and my husband are traveling to see christmas lights not to far but wanted to try something different on the way so i seen this place on tik tok and had to try it! I love a good smashed burger! Walked in and the atmosphere was very relaxed with dim lighting and you can tell there lots of regulars here. I personally loved the “seat yourself” policy but i know some wouldn’t. I always get stressed out about where i’ll be sitting so this takes a huge weight off ky shoulders. Waitress was BEAUTIFUL nice fun energy and the food just made the experience better! The crispy edges on the patties is unmatched not to mention a toasted bun and their special bacon onion jam!! Definitely coming back!!

My ex wife lives in Blythewood plus I heard an advertisement on radio. Thought I would give it a try. They had onion rings which I crave. They had cheeseburger special for $14. The server was incredible. Give her a raise she is very polite. I liked the decor. They serve alcohol although I don’t drink. If you like liquor they hate it. I’m very picky about my food. They ran a clean operation. I’ll come back. Soon. But overall A PLUS. (Give the waitstaff a raise. ). Did I mention onion rings. They gave you a lot of them fresh from the fryer. High five on the onion rings

We are traveling thru--staying at a nearby hotel and went to Chubbys for dinner. What a nice friendly place. our waitress was so sweet and am sorry to say I forgot her name. Hubby and I both had a club sandwich it was delicious . They had a young man singing 70's songs .. he was very good. We would definitely recommend Chubby's.

Food was amazing as always, our waitress was very attentive and got our appetizer out with drinks fast. The live music was very enjoyable, a little loud but it offered a nice balance. Definitely recommend.

I was there around 3:30pm on Wednesday. First time trying this restaurant out. The restaurant was clean, bathroom was clean. Ordered the Clint Beefwood with side of onion rings. My sister had fries. My hamburger, due to condiments was messy, but a good burger. Onion rings larger than I like, but again they were good. Fries are pretty good without any added salt or ketchup. Only draw back was our waitress was slow on a few things. Not sure if she was new, seemed as though she very well could of been. Would I return, yes, probably so.

I ordered food through a food delivery service after perusing their menu online. Burger, fries and the item I really wanted: onion rings. The Clint Beefwood burger was pretty good considering it wasn't hot after delivery. It held up well and wasnt soggy at all. My fries were supposed to be seasoned wiith garlic parmesan but while I could see it, they did not taste like it. The onion rings I craved were a big letdown. They were blah, too bland. If I order from Chubby's again, I would try other dishes before saying yay or nay to the restaurant.

Outstanding. Comfortable place that looks like the locals hang out. Love the whimsical menu. I got the "that's what she said". Smashburger. Excellent. Excessively delicious amount of grilled onions. Niger sauce was great but the true star of the show was the fried pickles! When they came I thought I had been given fries instead. They were crispy on the outside and great flavor. We are on our way south but we will make this a mark on the map to stop again.

First time in along time I received my burger in a timely manner and it was still hot. 5 stars

We stopped here while we were on the road traveling. It's not far off the interstate. The service was great. The food was great. We will definitely return.

The burger was on point. It is a smash burger 1/4 lb. It was so good, I feel I inhaled the burger. It was juicy and the onions were thinly sliced. The fries were good but I was so curious as to why they were so dark. They were good and not heavily salted. If you love salt, you will need it on the fries but taste first. I don't want to mess anyone up on those fries. Service was amazing!!! Ask for Kimberly, she was attentive, patient and intentional. She answered all my questions and allowed space for my curiosity. The space is great. Probably great for group events plenty of space.

This place is conveniently located right off of I-77. The service was fantastic. We ordered the pepper jack burger as a double with fries. The burgers were cooked well, the bun was soft and buttery, and the pepper jack cheese was melty. Bonus were the fried jalapeños which added the right amount of heat. We also ordered a double burger on lettuce build your own. It came with tomato, sautéed onions, pickles, mayo, mustard, and ketchup. It was definitely yummy! The burgers were delivered to the table piping hot. The side salad was a nice size, fresh and crunchy. The fries could have been a little more crispy and need a little salt.

The service was great, our server was the sweetest thing. The food was yummy, and we'll definitely be back.

I promise you will not leave here unsatisfied!!! Kimberly was our bar tender and she was so very kind and thorough!!! The burgers are seasoned so well and the hand cut fries was the cherry on top. Everything is clearly made in house fresh with top quality product. Do not pass this place up you will be missing out!

Sat at the bar and was greeted by a friendly bartender. Had a nice cold beer and ordered the nachos. Food was just above average with no complaints. Was not a fan of the pulled chicken, but it was decent. I had a burger earlier in the day and was not hungry for one. If I were to return, I would probably get one of their good looking burgers..

We went to Chubbys for lunch it was amazing! The food and service couldnt of been better. It has a great family atmosphere to it TV bar and even make their own chips! Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to give a non chain restaurant a chance!

We used to come here a lot when this place was McNultys. It's still good. Service was good and our food came out quickly. I had the chef salad and it was more than I could eat. I'll be back!

Our ROMEO group of nine went here for this week's lunch. We've voted Chubby's as the "Best Hamburger in Cola" and of the 150 restaurants we've tried it is one of our all-time favorites. Most of the guys ordered burgers but we had two Chicken Nashty Sandwiches, which are always good. But this was the first time we've visited where they've had the new Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches. Two of us ordered the small Philly with mushrooms, onions and cheese. I chose mine with Cheese Whiz. I forgot to order jalapeños on the side, but the sandwich was excellent. The bun was very good, lots of meat and it really surprised us both that it was so good. Next time I'll order jalapeño peppers for it. It's tough to select what you want here, as their burgers are the best....the Chicken Nashty is great...and now the Philly Cheesesteak! I like their large B.A.P. pretzel with cheese sauce also. Their home fries were crisp and very good today. One think I miss is that they advertised a fish sandwich months ago that looked terrific. But every time I've come they say it was only a "special" and apparently don't make it anymore. I would've liked to have tried that. Our waitress, Hannah, was great. Refilled drinks, checked on our group often, and deserves kudos! Average rating among the 9 of his was 4.69...so rounded off it gets a 5.0!Phill

Well, Well, Well...A restaurant right down the road from my house. I came here a couple of times when it was McNulty's Taproom. Chubby's has been here for a couple of years and I've been meaning to check it out. I'll say this is a new staple: Pros: - The menu. I only eat chicken - there was over 5 really solid options for me to choose from. - Appetizers. Everything from onion rings to poutine to cheese curds. Am I really still in South Carolina? - You will not leave hungry. Guranteed. These portions are legit. I'm a huge overeater and I actually brought leftovers home. - Very friendly staff. I came in at 11:00 so it was slower, but I was impressed with how friendly my waiter was. Cons: - None. We started with onion rings and these are killer. They're huge and all different sizes/shapes which means these are made in house. They came with ranch which was excellent. I got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. This thing was gigantic and flavorful. You know it's good when it has craggly bits that are crunchy hanging off the side. I was impressed with how thick the chicken was, but at the same time how well it was cooked. No bite felt dry or overcooked. Really great taste/texture going on. My wife got a smash burger and said it was a top-3 burger she's ever had. Chubby's is an excellent place for a burger or chicken sandwich. It's fresh, hot, and plentiful. I will gladly return.

The customer service is stunning but I tried to give this place another shot and support locally, but the cooks truly do take into consideration the product they push out. This is the second time where my food is swimming and a steady stream of oil and grease. It's not appealing, and it ruins the flavor of the food and the seasonings. The atmosphere is amazing, music is great, but unfortunately I'll only ever come here for a drink from now on.

Nothing special here. I asked if food items were gluten free and they said probably and offered nothing in addition to check for me. I ordered takeout and was quoted 15 minutes and waited a little over 45 minutes. Bathrooms were gross with seats up and urine unflushed. Service said there was nothing they could do. For $17 a burger id say save your money and time and keep driving another 20 minutes to Columbia.

Great food! We have been twice now and enjoyed it. For a to go order there was not a lot of sauce and the chicken tenders were nothing special. My turkey burger and house chips were very good!

It was okay. Cool, kick back atmosphere. Nice server. Food was ok. The onion rings were the best part. The turkey burger (even though the description made it sound better than what was sent out)- was bland & basic. And the fries were cold, an only a small amount. But over all I would try again.

Best smash burgers in town. Chubby's originally started as a food truck and now has a full on restaurant with craft brew on tap. If you're looking to get your burger fix then Chubby's is the spot. They served burgers in a brew pub style spot. The burgers range all the way from classic to crazy but all within good taste. I haven't had a burger from here I haven't liked yet! Honestly any thing on the burger list is worth a shot. They also have a pretty solid draft list that includes several local Carolina brews. If you're looking for a solid spot for burgers or brew this is going to be it. I've heard the chicken sandwich is really solid too but can't confirm as of yet.

Delicious! Staff is friendly. My kids love it as well. Good selection of drinks. Have never been disappointed whether eating there or ordering delivery.

Great burgers, good beer- what else is there? Stopped here on our way north from FL - will definitely stop back in.

Easily one of the best burgers I've ever had! I had the BOYB with bacon, lettuce, tomato, burger sauce and mayo. I loved that the bun was warmed and slightly toasted. The fries were SO GOOD! They're definitely my preferred style of fry and taste great alone or with burger sauce. My daughter had the kids burger which seemed to be the same size as the BYOB (no complaints about this.) The pricing was great for the portion size. We got our food to go but the it was clean inside and the waitress was friendly. I will definitely be back and have made this will be my "go to" burger spot.

Had the BYOB burger and hand it fries . Taste great , very fresh and bacon was crunchy.

Starting with one star. 6:32 pm. Not looking good. Standing at door waiting for someone to acknowledge me. 6:39. I think I'm invisible. 6:42. Someone begrudgingly asked me how I'm doing. I responded asking if I could sit at the bar since it's just me. Yep. 6:44. Still sitting here. No menu. No offer of a drink. 6:45. I ask for a menu once I can flag someone. Still no acknowledgement of my existing. Seriously, must be invisible. 6:50. Menu flipped in front of me. Maybe the foods good? (Let me add there is no line and I'm the only person at the bar save one couple who are already eating)... I'm here for the smash burger...sure hope they see me soon...although if I'm invisible, maybe I won't have to pay? Added a star, at 2 now. 7:01 the bartender waiter stopped by to take my order, apologize for the wait and tell me he is giving my 50% off (or maybe he said 15?) for my wait. I told him it's not necessary, it's not. I just want a really good burger, then it will be worth it. Added a star, at 3 now. 7:27 The burger is pretty damn delicious! I'm going to leave the review at 3 stars. I think maybe they were understaffed...but acknowledging me would have made all the difference. It was 15% btw.

Back to Chubby's for takeout tonight. We chose the Cobb Salad and they were delicious. Great options. House dressing is amazingly good. Online order process was easy. And the i order was ready when they said it would be. And I should mention, of course the place was rocking on a Friday night. There's always live music. Chubby's, always a good choice.

Attentive service provided by Tiffany today . We shared a Caesar Salad which was just okay . Burgers were very tasty and we both thought the french fries and tater tots were way over salted. Quality was good but we both agreed that at nearly $50 for the two burgers and a salad that there are other more economical choices in the area .

We got off the freeway with the expectation of going to McDonald's and the drive-thru line was ridiculous. We drove behind it and parked in the plaza to look at other options and we saw Chubby's. Talk about lucky! Chubby's was absolutely delicious. The service was quick and friendly and the food was so good! I got the lettuce wrap burger and was disappointed that it was just two soggy pieces of lettuce acting as buns The taste of the burger made up for the lettuce situation. You must try the fried pickles because they're like French fries but pickles. The ranch is bomb too.

Food was great and fast! Service was also great. Nice restaurant with updated feel and tvs! Daughter loved the grilled cheese.

My friend and I stopped by here for an early dinner as I had heard so much about this place. Upon entering, you will see a hostess stand that asks you to "wait to be seated", but someone yelled out for us to seat ourselves. So she and I proceeded to a table by the window. We were immediately greeted by our waitress and she took our drink order....giving us some time to look over the menu. Once she came back, we ordered our burgers and sipped our pineapple ale, which was very delicious. Our burgers arrived and we were not disappointed. They were hot and fresh. Our waitress continued stopping by to check in on us before we grabbed to-go boxes, her to-go order, paid and we left. They do have a bar, but I didn't go around to that side as the dining area and the bar are separated a little. I will surely return!

I had the Lil Chubby burger with the house chips, and it was delicious! The service was good! Friendly and food came out quick. I enjoyed a good draft beer with my meal. Definitely recommend this place!

Place is a dump. Same crappy service I got over a year ago when I swore I wouldn't go back. 2 years ago I would have argued this place had the best burgers and now it seems as if the owner/management just left it up to the worthless bartenders to run the place. Save your money and the possibility of getting sick and go somewhere else.

So I've been here a few times and usually enjoy the rustic atmosphere, friendly service and flavorful food. It's out of the way but we were happy to support a local restaurant for small business Saturday. Unfortunately the waitress was rude, short, and dismissive when asked about the change in menu, absent specials and when our food arrived, smaller portions. I was wondering why she told us the restaurant was now doing portion control on food when asked about smaller portions especially when there was no price change to match the smaller amounts? I'm impressed by Chubby's back story and won't write this spot off(yet!) but could have done without the poor customer service.

Food is very good, a wide variety on the menu. I had the Cobb salad which was fresh and delicious. The boys had grilled cheese and chicken strips with fries. The cheese curds were good too. Sweet tea delicious! Our server, Autumn was friendly and we received our orders promptly. We would definitely come back and try the burgers, maybe next weekend! Highly recommend this family restaurant!

I have been wanting to come here for awhile and the time has finally come ! My mom in love and I decided to have a girls night so I chose this place since it's near her house. Now we got there around 6:15 ish and it was packed ! There were no tables open so we sat at the bar. It definitely screams typical bar vibes but I honestly loved it. They had a room to play pool, a game room, they even had live music tonight which was really good. The bartender was super nice and was fairly quick to take our order and ring it up. I ordered an amaretto sour and byob lettuce wrap burger with bacon cheese and a fried egg along with sweet potato fries and garlic aioli. My MIL had their cheesesteak with sweet potato fries and a Bahama Mama. The burger was so good. I should have gotten a double patty because the single patty was not enough but it was flavor and cooked perfectly, and all the toppings paired really well. I wish the bacon would have been crispier but I could have prob told them to do it. Either way it was a great burger. It was 10.99 and certain toppings were an additional $2 or $3. Sweet potato fries were an additional $2. The fries were so crispy and whatever sweet seasoning they had on it was addicting. I wanna say it was cinnamon sugar. I thought it was the perfect meal. My MIL loved her food as well and thought Chubbys was a good option for dinner. It was just so packed and busy, we waited a long time for our food. It didn't disappoint though. I think altogether it was about $50 which wasn't bad at all. I think next time we will come before 5 pm because they seem to be a popular place lol. I'll definitely be back to try more foods.

A nice dinner spot in little Blythewood! The food is amazing, the burgers are fantastic and everyone who works there is always so friendly! I love going whenever I can!

Been wanting to try this place since it opened but had to wait until the hype calm down, lol! The wait was worth it. I ordered the chubby burger and my teenager got a huger burger and then a kids meal. I did ordered a water with my meal and it had a funny taste to it, but I think that's a problem within the City of Columbia. Nevertheless, don't drink the water, lololol! Service was polite and friendly and food was delicious!

OMG, the food is AWESOME!!! - PhillyCheese Steak, GOLD! - Poutine Fries (who knew i would love fries w/gravy & cheese curds), DELICIOUS! - Like She Said BURGER, DANGGGG YA'LL! - I swear EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!! Large portions & to top it off, I did a carry out & it was STILL GREAT!!!! Service was fast (ordered at the bar) 3pm on a Saturday and 70% of the restaurant was full.

Food we ordered was great!! Waitress and wait staff were very good as well. Small arcade room and jukebox is a definite plus in my book. We'll be back....

I had the worst experience today. I ordered a Chubby burger with fries. The burger had tiny onion jam and the burger was not freshly cooked but almost cold - I felt it was sitting on the kitchen counter for a while. Also my fries amount was so little, about 1/3 size of the regular amount. Also I got overcooked, small pieces of potato fries like it was a leftover....I am so disappointed. For me the quality of the food was absolutely awful and way below the expectations!

Great music, fun place. Amazing burgers...had the chubby burger with lettuce (new year's resolution to eat more veggies), sweet potato fries can get with cinnamon sugar (OMG), kids got just burgers...yummy! Hubby got the blue cheese burger and it didn't disappoint!! If you are thinking of stopping, JUST DO IT! You won't be disappointed!!!

We were so excited about trying this place after being here for 2.5 years.... And then that quickly turned. We had a party of 11 and the hostess said they could not accommodate a party of 11 on a Friday... we asked how long the wait was, because we were willing to wait... and still not able to accommodate. Ok... fine... can you accommodate two tables (one with the 6 and one with 5)... the kids (older kids) can sit and one and the adults at another? No Long story short, the hostess did not want to even TRY to accommodate, rude, and very dismissive. Will never try and eat here again. Even the Chubbys they just opened... that entire experience made my family and friends not even want to support the business.

I went there for lunch. There was a nice crowd in there, which indicated that the food was pretty good. The food and the surface was excellent. I would go there again.

Chubby's new location at Percival and Forest Dr did not disappoint. They offer a varied menu and everything we tried was very good. The inside is bright and clean and spacious. The employees were very pleasant and accommodating. There are a few tables outside, if that's your preference. We will definitely return to try other offerings.

Ordered from here for takeout last night bc I thought they were closing at 7pm - apparently they do not bc the place was still accepting customers at 7pm. Place looked pretty nice with wood paneling, booths or tables and pinball machines or billiards. I walked up to the hostess station and waited to be addressed (they appeared to be a little short staffed) and this took a little longer than I expected. I met with the hostess and she advised that I could pickup at the bar. I made my way to the bar and spoke with the bartender who was also busy pouring drinks. She got my name, located my food and brought it to me. She also printed up the check and got me some extra ranch on request. Pretty smooth process all in all. We ordered 3 build your own burgers and 2 chubby burgers. All burgers were well cooked and served on a fresh bun. Each burger came with fries or tots and they were crisp and fresh. We also ordered some onion rings and a side salad which were also good. Good stop in the area if you want a burger.
