Yelp
This is a very small general store with limited selection. Their produce was all past it's prime. They boast of having a bakery with homemade goods, but all of their bread was full of high fructose corn syrup.
All of this would be forgivable, however, if they had better service. I bought a loaf of their bread, among a few other items. The cashier bagged it with my other items, and on the walk to my car, which was parked directly in front of the store, the loaf got completely smashed. I went back in and asked to exchange it, but the cashier refused, and was utterly unsympathetic in the process. Her rationale was that it couldn't be sold again, and the store would loose money. While those are probably true, I also lost money buying a loaf of bread that was too smashed to make a sandwich. It would have been nice for the store to take responsibility, since they had bagged the bread. If I had bagged it, or stepped on it, or otherwise been responsible for smashing it, then I could understand the response.
In short, do your shopping before you get to town. I love supporting small local businesses, even when it means dealing with limitations. It doesn't feel good to shop at a local businesses that treats their customers poorly.
