Our server Heather was amazing. She really made the experience. So sweet and fun. The food was so good and definitely worth the price!! We can't wait to go back!

I used to love eating here when I'd visited my dad. This was and will always be one of my favorite memories with him. Good food, great service, and the Carrot Cake is the best anywhere on earth, and I'm a carrot cake sob lol.

Such a cute place. I got the eggs Benedict. I am not sure but the sauce did not seem homemade. It was still okay. The hash browns were awesome.

I had the ribeye and eggs with hash browns. The ribeye was dry (ordered medium) and eggs cold. The coffee was perfect! Cute decor and wonderful service. Just not my favorite spot for breakfast.

A nice family owned restaurant. We went there for a brunch there while going to visit Bridal Cave.They have both buffet as well as à la carte options. We went for the second one. Though it took us around 20-30 minutes waiting, but it was totally worth of it. All the foods were excellent. Moreover, the lady who was serving us was funny and humorous. Wish,I could go there again. I totally recommend this nice restaurant.

Very busy place! The service was friendly. I had the breakfast buffet, which had all of the staples and then some. They even made me some fresh and tasty pancakes to order! Customers are friendly also! Thanks goes out to the strangers that covered my bill without telling me!! That was a very nice surprise.

We came here for the fried pies. We’ve heard so much about them. We decided to try lunch and we’re not disappointed. My husband had the chicken fried steak and he loved it! And he love the biscuit and the homemade onion rings. We then ordered one of each of the fried pies to go. We tried them once we got home and were in heaven. This place reminds me of eating with my grandparents. It was good comfort food. We had excellent service! And that’s hard to find these days.

They have the best chicken fried steak n gravy. The French dip is amazing also and this time I had a burger and it was very good. Great coffee and lots of refills. Highly recommend!!!

This place is everything it needs to be -- every single person we encountered was friendly, pleasant, and helpful. Great place to get breakfast. Pancakes, great. French toast, great. Bacon was excellent. Eggs made right. Coffee on point. These out-of-towners appreciated the hospitality. Highly recommended.

Will never return. Over charged. $60 for a blt sandwich, hamburger steak plate and two drinks. CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY.

Found my small town, comfortable cafe. Service is excellent. Always with a bright smile. Good is good old fashioned comfort food. The menu has a great variety of choices. Comfortable and inviting. Great prices.

Breakfast was good, home made biscuits really good had rib eye and eggs for breakfast, great price was on special. Service was good and down to earth atmosphere, not fancy but food and price were good

The good, tasty club sandwich. Nice menu and daily specials. The bad, dirty grease French fries and fried pies. That ruined the taste of our lunch. Not likely to return.

Off the beaten path, but well worth it. Trying to find a place at the lake that serves a good burger/patty melt and found this hidden gem. Food was exceptionally good, burger with sweet potato fries and patty melt with onion rings.and service was good. The only downfall were my onion rings were lukewarm - but still good.

Great stop on our way to Dragonridge disc golf. Typical breakfast cafe with great service and a breakfast buffet.

So, you've got to try this place! We had a large party on a Sunday morning and they welcomed us all right in. Carrie was our server and she was so funny and accommodating. She even snapped a photo of us. The food was really good and we all left full and satisfied. You'll enjoy the atmosphere at this place because all of the servers are fun, fun fun! The food is dang good. The atmosphere is cozy. Give it a try and you'll be tummy happy!

Stop by for breakfast. Place was older quaint decorated. Buffet looked basic but good. I was seated right away. The hostess and waiter were very friendly. Ordered the biscuit gravy meal. Not bad. Coffee was good. If you're looking for quick good food without the bells and whistles, give this place a try.

Love the fried pies!!! Everyone who works there is so great!! I ordered 15 fried pies 14 minutes before they closed. They said it was no problem!! The best!

Food was pretty good. I had fish and chips, while my brother had chicken fried chicken. My fish was good, just not special. My brother loved his meal. He thought the gravy was delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I've always thought that if you can find where the locals eat, you'll find a pretty good meal. This holds true here. Ambiance was just what you expect for a locally owned restaurant, nothing fancy but very clean and comfortable. My kind of place!!

Passing through on a road trip and Chuckwagon didn't disappoint! Food was delicious and creamsicle cheesecake was even better! Stacy was kind and prompt with her service. Highly recommend.

We weren't super thrilled about our breakfast but I will say that I enjoy their lunch items. French dip with horseradish and their chips are my favorite.

Delicious, quaint and down home restaurant. I ordered 2 piece cornmeal catfish, hush puppies, okra, chips, and cucumber salad. $7.95. Unbelievable. Chocolate chip pie rounded out the great meal. Annabelle was the most helpful, friendly waitress I've encountered in a long time. Well worth the trip. Hours are 6am - 3pm

This was the breakfast special on Friday. It was called the Cityslicker. Included an 8 oz ribeye, taters, eggs and a biscuit or toast. All for $8.50! Everything was seasoned well and very tasty! Waitress was super helpful and friendly. First time here but won't be the last! They had so many options that I need to try!

Friendly service. Great value for the money. Greek salad is vegetarian w/actual mixed greens with a little ice berg lettuce. Nice atmosphere as well.

Used to enjoy, last few times service was terrible, cold food and multiple hairs in my food. Waitress acted like it was no biggie. Wont be back.

Apparently the Tuna Melt is superb! All three of my kids loved it! My husband said the mile high Chuckwagon Club was good as well. I went pretty basic with the tuna salad, but I appreciated the lettuce variety being more than just iceberg. The service was great, very friendly & accommodating!

Great service! Food was good too. Only reason I'm not giving this one 5 stars is because they had extremely limited "healthy" food choices. But none the less, overall nice experience!

Awesome food hands down! This is a clean cute little place with a very friendly waitress and very informative. Hubby ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. He said it was one of the best he has had here at the lake! Very tender, no grissel or fat and cost $7.95. I devoured the Gold Rush Burger! This is hands down the best burger in Camdenton. It was big, juicy with great flavor and loaded with sauteed onions and mushrooms. It came with shoe string fries and only cost $5.95! We are definitely going back, want to go on Sunday for the Fried Chicken special and Friday for the Fish and Chips! So glad we decided to try them out as now we have a new great place for breakfast and lunch! Check out the sign outside and it tells you the daily specials, and all the specials are not regular items on the menu, so they are truly special!

Food was cold. Not what was ordered and ordered bacon couldn't eat it because it was burnt. Missing hash browns.

Love the staff super hometown friendly staff. Fast service and went out of their way to make you feel like home. Food was good and hot. My son has allergies and we asked the server to reassure him and she was super nice to him. Will come back. It has all day breakfast and all you can eat breakfast until 1pm in Saturday and sundays.

A definite must stop if you are in the area. Does not look like much on the outside, but very accommodating employees and good food. We came for the fried pies which did not disappoint. Just make sure you order them early as they are made fresh and take about 30 minutes.

Fantastic food! I had the homemade Meatloaf special on a Saturday with Mashed Potatoes and gravy. A fried apple pie topped it off got an apple fried pie!!! So good!!!

Amazing place for breakfast! I highly recommend this place, I got a breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and bacon, It was DELICIOUS! The only con is that this place is against non Christians.

This place is an old school gem. I get the Cobb salad for 8.50 and it's big and they're generous with the toppings. So good! My hubby has had burgers and the hot turkey sandwich. Both of which were very good. Highly recommend!!

Arguably the best breakfast in three counties; this isn't your average everyday hole in the wall diner. We originally planned on eating at RJ"s which in its own right is an excellent place to hang your proverbial breakfast hat but the packed parking lot encouraged us to give the Chuck Wagon Cafe a shot and I'm sure glad the universe worked in our favor that day. The cafe is cute but if I were to spruce up the atmosphere I would have wood floors and rustic wood chairs, tables and booths. That was just an observation and not necessarily a complaint. Sometimes the decor alone will have two friends who tell two friends who tell two friends. We are a visual society and I would say with those minor upgrades this would be a destination to be reckoned with. Now here is why WHO CARES ABOUT THE STINKING DECOR!!! The food was amazing and the staff was friendly and attentive. More importantly they actually cared about their customers. I listened intently (eavesdropping and all) to one waitress ask a gentlemen patron if everything went well at his doctor appointment. Just like Cheers... "Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name" and these ladies cared enough to do just that. I ordered the side winder and though it was big enough to feed two I managed to polish it off myself!!! My husband was not so aggressive with his special of the day but he managed half and half for later. It's just good ol fashioned down home cooking done right and we will be back with friends and family :)

They are OPEN for business. We ate there yesterday after church. The food is wonderful. I love that breakfast is served anytime. The owner is very friendly as is her husband. And great waitstaff, they keep your coffee cup filled. Great value for your money. And they treat everyone the same. Just a good family restaurant to go to.

Nice little cafe with good food. We had the Sunday morning buffet that had several choices for food. I sampled the biscuits and gravy which were very good. The hash was pretty good. The scrambled eggs were not good at all. I believe they were powdered but not 100% certain on that. The bacon was really good. The sausage had great flavor but, personally, I am not a fan of sausage that has a casing on it. They had a sausage and egg quesadilla which tasted decent. That was the extent of my experience with the buffet. One of the members in our group had the cinnamon french toast with scrambled eggs on the side. Her breakfast tasted fantastic! Our waitress was great and very sweet. She tended to us often and it was a very busy morning. The ambiance was okay, it was basically a diner. Overall, I would have to say that i would go back but I would most likely order from the menu rather than have the buffet.

Great little classic cafe. A really great small town feel, and solid food to boot. They serve breakfast all day, but I had their BLT plus avocado. Loaded with bacon, which was cooked perfectly. I opted for the house made chips, which were crunchy not greasy. The service was just what you expect - friendly, fast, and it really seemed they were half to have you there :)

While the food is very good and the staff gives great service the building is very dated and less welcoming.

What a great find. We ordered chicken club sandwiches, blts, and cowboy burgers. Some had onion rings, one had fries, and another had chips. We inhaled our food and loved every bite. Good food for very reasonable prices. Do NOT leave without something for dessert. The are known for their fried pies. We had a cherry one, along with bread pudding and oreo cake. We will be back next year when we come back to the lake.

I will say the food was good however you need to make sure your bill is accurate. My friends and I had breakfast there and we ordered a breakfast that clearly stated on the menu that is was $6.50. Above the menu it states it is served with hash browns or Cowboy taters (no extra charge).They charged us $6.95 for the meal AND $2.50 extra for the potatoes. When bringing it to their attention they said we were the first ones that has questioned them in 4 years?!! He clearly said it was a mis-print which means ALL of their menus are mis-printed?!! Please be aware of this!!

Found this place via a search, decided to stop in and have a bite to eat. The wait staff is incredible, always a smiling face and the food is just as incredible. I recommend the Wild Wild West! My wife had the regular biscuits and gravy and a plate sized pancake. Everything was great from when we pulled into the parking lot until when we left!!!

We absolutely love this place! Have to eat here every trip to the Lake! Excellent homemade food, great service and really reasonable prices. Never had less than a great meal!

Had breakfast at 1:45pm on a Tuesday. Bacon was smokey, sausage was spicy good, eggs were perfect and hash browns crispy. Delicious and friendly Chuck Wagon is a hit!

They have the Best meatloaf are Waitress Annabell. Was really nice and .I loved the desserts on the breakfast bar.

We had the breakfast buffet and it was amazing! The small potatoes were the best, crispy and tender on the inside. Scrambled eggs were light and fluffy. Annabell was the sweetest and most helpful, so friendly! Stop by and check out this great hidden gem in Camdenton!

Was looking for a quick bite to eat before making my way across the state. My boyfriend and I went in for lunch but quickly changed our minds when we saw the breakfast menu. The staff, from the moment we walked in the door, had the biggest smiles on their faces and were so so nice. Clean bathrooms, prompt service and great food!
