Chulia Heritage Hotel

The best location to walk around Georgetown. Night life is there too but not noisy in the room at all. The building is so cute and historical. There is a parking in the property and the guard helps to park. He stands by 24 hours and bery secured. The person at front desk is very friendly and kind. The cleaner work very tidy and properly everyday. I highly recommend here.

I stayed at this hotel recently, and what I loved most was the location. It’s absolutely unbeatable right in the heart of the city and just steps away from the market, restaurants, cafes, bars, and many other attractions. Everything is incredibly convenient.However, if you plan to stay here, I would recommend booking a Deluxe room or higher. The Standard room was a bit disappointing for me, especially the bathroom, which was very small and didn’t have a separate wet and dry area.That said, the staff were lovely and very helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it was a good experience.

The hotel provide: Amneties : soap Towel : change of towel provided Drinking water : bottled Plastic hair cover Coffee/tea packets (replenish when used) Electric kettle Cups and saucers Wardrobe with hangars Room size booked : 3 bedded (1 room only, make sure to book early) Toilet/bathroom size : 5' x 4.5' (good size to have a good shower) Convenient location and walking distance to many foodie places and places of attraction like Armenian St, Art St, etc Most importantly it's clean and modest.

We stayed at a standard double room. It was clean and the air conditioner worked well. Two bottles of drinking water was supplied each day. The location was good and access to many eating places. You can walk around the Heritage Area.|This is a budget hotel and there were no amenities such as a swimming pool or cafe in the hotel. There was also no fridge and safe in the room.|The bathroom is very small. There was no separate section for the shower and it hovered above the toilet. So after a shower the whole area is wet. Walls are a bit thin so you can hear your neighbors. There is a TV showing a limited selection of channels.

Is a very convenient hotel located at a strategic place. The room is small, but with the price, I think is good enough for us to just shower, sleep. As we are out whole day to explore the city. The shower is strong too.

Very clean, strategic location to many attractions within walking distance, value for money. Friendly staff for check in and guard. The only thing would be toilet /shower room was just fit my size caused I booked a petite room. Great nice stay, keep up the good work 👍

Great place to stay, decent room(we booked for petite double room), but lacking a bit of soundproof. Near from attractions/places that we want to visit during our stay(walking distance). Considering the place is in the middle of the town, decent parking spots for customers, well mannered staffs & sporting guard staff who guide your car parking spot.

We stayed a night at Chulia hotel at Penang and it OK. They don’t have twin beds rooms, so you better take care of it in advance. As neither our local travel agency neither the hotel took care of it. That was a disappointment and cost us an extra room in another hotel. Fortunately no breakfast, but many places around. Small. clean room
