Restored an antique teak and Rattan rocking chair for me. Beautiful workmanship and attention to detail. Mr Chun repaired and revarnished the chair and re rattaned the seat and back. I am very pleased with the result.

Very old school 1970s Rattan Shop and currently helmed by the 2nd generation owner Mr Chen (nickname Singapore's Rattan Man) and his lady assistant. All the Rattan Furniture found in this shop is entirely painstakingly made by hand. Chun Mee Lee's Rattan Furniture are popular with the Expats community in Singapore, as well as locals who appreciate old school Rattan Furniture in their homes. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!. Service and product quality is terrible. First, male boss promised delivery in afternoon around 2-3pm but at 4pm, no one delivered my 3 rattan chairs. I called the shop and female boss said the male boss forgot about my delivery.She said his son will deliver in evening and come 7pm dinner time then male boss come and deliver the chairs. As it is evening time and we are dinner, I just accepted delivery, thinking should be okay. BOY, AM I WRONG!!!! First, the chairs have a lot of burnt marks, small and big holes, peeling paint and one of the chair is wobbly. NO WONDER, HE WANTS TO DELIVER IN EVENING SO THAT I CAN'T SEE THE DEFECTS. WHAT YOU SEE IN THE SHOP IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM WHAT IS DELIVERED TO YOUR PLACE. When I complained to the boss next day, he said all these burnt marks are natural and I can get the chair feet cushion for the wobbly chair. 1 month later, I noticed that the rattan peel of 1 armchair has broken into 2 parts and asked if he can repair foc. No, he replied he didn't provide warranty. That is not what he said when I made the order. He said if there's anything wrong with the chair, bring it over for him to fix. He did not mention there is no warranty and there will be transportation charges. The most ridiculous thing is even if I paid the transportation charges and let him fix the chair, he also said another rattan peel may break later on. The person who sits on the chair is just 60kg and the chair cannot support her weight so what is the use of the chair. The chair is also located in living room far away from direct sunlight.THE MALE BOSS EXPECTED ME TO PAY TRANSPORTATION AGAIN TO REPAIR THE CHAIR.... YOU MAKE A LOUSY PRODUCT AND EXPECT ME TO PAY YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY FROM THIS STORE AGAIN!!!

Uncle was very sweet, rattan is good quality, extremely sturdy

If you have a nice piece of furniture that has aged, and you want to restore the natural beauty of the wood get Mr Chen to do it. He will do a great job.

I recently sent 9 pieces of rattan chairs for repair. The prices were reasonable compared to other shops that I enquired from, the quality of repair was excellent, and the owner Mr Chen was very pleasant, polite and professional. I ended up sending in two more chairs for repair.

Great quality rattan furniture and lots of variety. Run by a nice, old Chinese couple who helped us pick out some chairs. They also offered delivery at a very small fee (much lesser than go-go van and the likes) since we didn't live very far away. It's not a fancy or high-end place - super local with great quality. They have chairs, tables, side racks, shoe racks, laundry baskets, bread baskets, sofas, etc made with different kinds of rattan. We found everything to be reasonably priced as well.

Uncle does a great job in making custom made rattan furnitures. He skillfully made my bed to my specifications that is extremely beautiful, well made and very sturdy. Reasonably priced too for the craftsmanship. Super recommended. Just show him what you wish to make and he can reproduce it exactly. Time to skip the generic furniture shops that overcharge you.
