Extremely Disappointed on My Birthday I’ve been a regular customer at ChungChun, frequently enjoying their hot dogs and supporting their business. Today, on my birthday, I visited hoping to receive the birthday treat they usually offer. I understand there’s a process involved, but it’s not clearly stated anywhere in the policy, and I approached the staff politely to inquire. Unfortunately, I was met with unexpected rudeness from the owner, Veronica. Instead of offering any empathy or explanation, she dismissed the conversation and bluntly said, “I don’t care if you leave a review, I’m the owner.” We even offered to show proof of our past purchases through our credit card history and the app—but she simply refused. To be clear, this isn’t about an $8 hot dog. It’s about basic customer service and kindness. I work in customer service myself, and I’ve seen countless businesses make exceptions or go the extra mile to show appreciation to loyal customers. This experience today showed a complete lack of that spirit. Sadly, what could’ve been a small gesture to make a customer feel special on their birthday turned into a disappointing and unpleasant encounter. I hope the management reconsiders how they treat their customers in the future.

Absolutely amazing, every single time. You really can't go wrong with this place. The lobby is always exceptionally clean, and wonderfully cute. The staff are always incredibly friendly, and happy to be there. This should be on the top of everyone's list of places to try. It's affordable, it's fast, and it is oh so delicious. 10/10, without fail. Seriously, you NEED to try this place!

Food wasn't impressive... I purchased a combo and the fries weren't even cooked fully, not edible. The rice dog was alright, something different. Probably wouldn't go back though. Sidenote: Washrooms have been out of order for apparently quite a long time. Not much for seating, they want you to just grab and go.

We got Two Jumbo Hotdogs Made fresh to order with all the sauces & seasonings you want. Hot, crispy, and so tasty! Will be back for more!

Reinvented Pogos(Corn Dogs). Take something good and make it better. You cannot go wrong. Awesome flavours. The Squid Ink was 😎 cool, the Chicken Nugget was tasty and the others were great. A must try for all. It's good food made fun👍🏻 The overall valued experience here is great.

I got the beef and mozzarella hotdog with the potato topping—super good! Crispy on the outside, cheesy and savory on the inside. It’s a great snack, but honestly, it’s filling enough to count as a small meal. Definitely coming back to try more combos.

Staff is very nice and friendly. Service is very quick. Love the hotdogs. Fresh made. Made to perfection. Absolutely delicious! Love the all mozzarella dogs. Love that we can customize the taste to our liking.

If you think you are just getting an average corn dog/pogo, you are in for a pleasant surprise. My family and I went during grand opening. The store is nice, clean and vibrant. It was very busy but the staff at the till were very helpful and efficient and we were able to place our order quickly. We were asked to wait outside and I am telling you, it was well worth the wait. We ordered Jumbo hotdog wrapped in crispy fried potatoes, Mozzarella Cheese Hotdog, Cheddar cheese hotdog and Chicken hot dog. Each hotdog is fried to order so you know your food is hot and fresh. We didn’t have to wait long—maybe 10 minutes, give or take. After that, we chose the sauce and seasonings. I tried a sauce combo of teriyaki, honey mustard, sweet mayo and sugar topping. My husband sweet chilli, sweet mayo and honey butter topping. Our son went with just honey mustard and we left one hotdog plain. First of all, the rice hotdogs are HUGE—portions are definitely generous. The outside is nice and crispy and has good crunch when you bite into it. The inside is soft and the hotdog is juicy. When we bit into the Mozzarella cheese hotdog, that melted cheese pull was very tasty and satisfying, it’s IG post worthy. The Chicken hotdog and Jumbo Hotdog with potatoes exceeded our expectations. The chicken and potato topping were crisp and flavourful. The sauces and powder toppings complemented the hotdog very well. It was sweet, savoury and was not overpowering at all. They have 8 sauces and and 4 seasonings so you can make your own combination of sweet, spicy, or both. Our favourite is the chicken hotdog with the potato dog a close second. We love the toppings we chose and we are looking forward to trying new combinations next time. Our family loves it so much, we have been back twice since grand opening! If you’re looking for something new to try, this is it. I guarantee you will not leave disappointed!
