So happy they finally opened a location in Mississauga! This amazing Korean snack does not even compare to a “pogo.”

i tried the Jumbo and the Chicken + Mozzarella hot dog with potato topping at ChungChun Rice Dog Mississauga, and they were both absolutely delicious! The outside was perfectly crispy, and the inside had that stretchy, melty cheese that makes every bite fun. The potato topping added the perfect crunch. The Jumbo was filling and super flavorful, and the chicken + mozzarella combo was a great twist — tender meat with gooey cheese. The staff were friendly, and everything was freshly made to order. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving Korean hot dogs. I’ll be back to try more!

Walking in, the place was bright and the girl who took my order was very patient and polite. I came in and ordered 7 rice dogs. The mozzarella one is a classic. Anything with covered potatoes (regular/sweet) are a must! The ramen covered one is a good one to try as well for that extra crunchy texture. All of the ones I had were crispy and crunchy on the outside yet soft and savoury on the inside. You get to choose your own sauces and powder coating as well. Such a delicious Korean street/comfort food that you can never go wrong with!

The Korean dogs were delicious, crunchy and always hits the spot. No place to sit, just stand though. Love coming here.

🌭The Korean street food corn dog never disappoints! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The cheese pull is always satisfying, and it’s the ultimate comfort snack. 🤤🤤 Definitely a must-try if you’re in the mood for something delicious! 🌟 #StoriesByAnn 🎀

I tried a Korean-style hot dog and Tteokbokki, it was really yummy! The crust was crunchy and delicious. It was also very filling😊I highly recommend it!

Good for takeout and as a quick street snack. Floor was quite slippery in the winters, be careful bringing elders — no seating available but standing tables provided

Very nice place! First time coming here and I enjoyed it. I got a whole mozzarella corn dog with potatoes. Next time I come back I’ll get it without potatoes, since it was kind of difficult to eat. Other than that, food was great. I had a hard time finding this place though. It was kind of hidden away in a corner beside the TD.

Chung Chun Rice Dog brings the authentic flavors of Korean street food to Canada as the first Korean hot dog brand. The crispy rice batter is perfectly fried, and the fillings—whether it’s cheese, sausage, or both—are incredibly flavorful. Each bite is crunchy on the outside and gooey inside, delivering a delicious and unique taste experience. If you’re a fan of trying something new and crave a satisfying snack, then it is definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
Chung Chun got wings!!!!! Yes you heard that right, they offers wings and sides! If you love Korean chicken, come by and check it out . We got to try: - Sweet & Spicy Wings (can also choose from Soy Garlic & Snow Cheddar) - Mac n Cheese bites - Waffle Fries - Nacho Dog & Poutine Dog - Pineapple Aid (can choose a coffee as well) Flavoruful, meaty, super delicious! Mac n cheese bites were crunchy and you get a choice of sauce as well. Hot dogs were 10/10 (can't miss a cheese pull ). And the pineapple aid was refreshing and paired well with everything. What are you waiting for ?!?!? Go to your nearest Chung Chun NOW!

Yelp
Finally had a chance to visit this place as I was in the area. I ordered the 'Sweet Potato Dog', with honey mustard sauce, sweet mayo sauce, and sugar. When I first bit into it, it was very crunchy, and the batter around the hot dog was thick, with just a hint of sweetness. I really liked it, and would be tempted to try another flavour next time. I also found the price to be reasonable, as it filled me up for many hours afterwards. The service was excellent as well, I was greeted upon entering, and was told to take my time when ordering. The hot dog was ready quickly, and the server was patient as I was deciding on what toppings to order. There were no tables to sit at so, I went to my car to sit as it was more comfortable. This seems to be a 'to go' place, as there was only a stand-up counter however, everything was clean and presentable.

Yelp
Been to Chungchun too many times in the past few weeks! even the picky eaters I know really enjoyed their hotdogs. All 4 orders were in the span of 2 weeks lololol. I've tried the double cheese, half mozzorella, volcano, and gamsung one so far! They were all yummy and great for eating on the go. The sausage in the volcano one is a lot bigger than the hotdogs, it is a bit saltier though! Potato topping was yummy but did make it greasier/heavier. The ramen topping makes it extra crispy which I liked! Sauces and powder wise, I really like the garlic powder, sweet chili sauce, teriyaki sauce, mayo and spicy mayo! I also tried parmesan cheese and honey butter powder which are good but not my preferences. They each come up to $5-7 pretax and are pretty filling! I think I'd want to try one that has rice cake next Pro-tip: order off Ritual so that it'll be ready for pick up by the time you get there!

Yelp
We don't have Korean Corn Dogs locally and my daughter had these on her "must try" list. So we added a stop on our way out. This location is a tiny stop in a shopping plaza. We had gotten there right at opening so there wasn't a wait. We ordered a few different ones to try. And they were yummy. This would be something I'd love to have closer to home. There are several choices of fillings, toppings, sauces etc. Including some dessert options. Definitely something worth trying if you have the chance!

Yelp
This was my first time trying a Korean hot dog. I ordered the cheddar cheese hot dog, which is made of beef and chicken sausage with cheddar cheese. They make it to order, so make sure it's fresh. You can choose your own sauce, and I went with ketchup and honey mustard. I found the taste a bit sour and it was just another version of a regular hot dog. It's a bit pricey so I don't think I would pay for it again, though.

Yelp
This is my second time at a chungchun location and the first in sauga. I was super excited as the ones I got from North York were amazing, so much that I even gave it 5 stars in a previous review. The system at this location is the same as the north York one where you go inside to place your order and then you go outside and wait until the ticker at the front gets to your number. Then you go inside and select the powder and sauces you want on the corndog. I went on a Tuesday late afternoon around 4 and there was already a long line. The entire process of ordering and getting my food took about 45 to 50 mins, which is way tooo long especially when there are no waiting areas for the customers. People were just standing all over and it was boiling hot outside. I ordered only the squid ink corndog and I was super disappointed when I received it. It was super tiny compared to the squid ink that I got in North York and barely any batter on it! It also barely had the squid tail as shown on the menu. I'm not sure if they were rationing batter as it was only 5 and it seems like they might be running out of ingredients. Despite that, the corndog itself still tasted really good with a crunchy exterior and the honey butter powder is still to die for. The hotdog is slight salty and I definitely did not taste the squid ink part at all. Just tasted like a regular corndog. Overall, I was very disappointed given the long wait and the small corndog I received.

Yelp
First time trying this in general and I like it. I've never had something like this before. My cousin ordered for me. I got the half and half (hot dog / mozzarella), topped with spicy mayo, sugar, and garlic powder. I couldn't really taste any of the powder, so yay for spicy mayo! Overall, the texture and flavor to me is yummy, filling, and a good value for what it is...especially since everything is getting so much more expensive now a days. If I'm ever visiting in the area again, I'd go back for some of this.

Yelp
A secret hidden gem in Mississauga. This place is my go to dinner place on my lazy cooking days. These Korean rice dogs are to die for. They have a handful of options and 1 halal option. I don't know why they don't have more locations, but the food is worthwhile. I typically try to order a new one each time I go, and so far the poutine one is my favourite besides the chocolate (dessert option). It's always crunchy, however sometimes the stick isn't always in the middle so when you take a bite, the rice dog can be on the verge of coming off the stick. The service is pretty good - someone is always ready and there to take your order. The ambiance is very casual. One of those go in and get out places. They have high top "tables," but you can't really classify them as tables because they do not have chairs where you can sit, so by default all the orders are "to-go." Otherwise - parking is not always available, but try to go nonetheless - it's well worth it!

Yelp
I love me some Korean corn dogs! The smell, texture, and flavours are sensory satiating. It's crunchy, crispy, gewy, chewy, juicy, soft, salty, sweet, umami, tangy, spicy, everything! We got the jumbo and sausage-tteok. The tteok is korean rice cake which is speared on, alternating with sausage. The prices are reasonable since they are a good size and corn dogs beat toronto street meat any day. It's so good with spicy mayo and sweet chili! They have cheese dogs and veggie dogs for the vegetarians. I wonder if they do veggie cheese dogs? Yum! 6 people are allowed inside, as per covid. After you order, there is a #counter in the window so you can wait outside (with the crowd) until it dings your order#. They season it for you at the pickup window. They have a happy hour special until oct 17th for 50% off of the jumbo and double cheese. One week left to get it!

Yelp
These Korean corn dogs are not bad! This is my second time trying Chungchun and first time at this particular location. We got two corn dogs, one with ramen and the other with potato. I only tried the ramen one and it was pretty good. It was fresh and super crunchy. The sauce did make it extra tasty! The only thing about this snack item is I would prefer less batter. However, this is probably how the corn dogs are made since the consistency and texture is similar to the downtown location. Give these Korean corn dogs a try if you are looking for a snack. This location is located in the Golden Square plaza so there is ample amount of parking. The store is a bit small so just be prepared to order and wait outside or in your car!

Yelp
I'm so glad that they now offer Halal chicken. That's amazing! The hot dog is good. The service is quick. This is a take out spot so they don't have tables and chairs inside. These were so crispy and filling

Yelp
This place has been on my list to visit for a long time! I tried the ramen rice dog, the potato rice dog, and one that was half sausage and half cheese! There are many cool seasonings to choose from, I asked staff for their recommendations and got the sauces on the side just in case and my boyfriend got his right on top. I would recommend this unique spot to foodies looking to grab a cool bite, I would also like to return to try some more!

Yelp
Mississauga is getting better with all these new places opening!! Super excited that CC opened up near me.. now I don't need to drive all the way to north York for this chain lol Grand opening was yesterday so I missed their promo but I went anyways today and luckily we didn't have to wait that long in line to order and pick up. Menu is the same through out and quality is similar to North York! I really like the hot dogs they use for these, not too salty. Didn't get a chance to try their drinks but it looked like they were about to run out

Yelp
Lived.up.to.the.hype! It was my first time trying korean rice dogs and I absolutely devoured them !!! Thank you chung chun's for blessing us in Mississauga with your presence I tried the following flavours from left to right: - Chocolate hot dog (I swear this had Nutella in it) - Gamsung (potato hot dog) - Mozarella cheese hot dog (with cheese and beef sausage) - Squid ink cheese hot dog (squid ink mixed in the batter with a beef sausage and cheese) - Whole mozarella cheese hot dog (just straight up cheeseeeeee not pictured is the cheese pull after the camera was turned off lol) For the sauces I mixed and matched what the very helpful and friendly employees suggested and a few of my ideas too lol but my favourite sauces had to be their teriyaki and sweet chilli sauce! I couldn't pick a favourite hot dog honestly they were all so amazing I really want to go back to try the rest of the menu but I'll tell you this, don't sleep on the dessert one it's DELICIOUS. Who doesn't love anything stuffed with Nutella ?! Thank you sosooo much to the patient, kind, helpful and friendly staff at the store for making this experience an amazing one. Will be back real soon, so glad to know Mississauga now has our very own chung chun Check them out y'all!

Yelp
Clean but small. Often the lines goes outside of the shop because of how many people are lining up but I guess that makes sense given this location is in Mississauga and not markham/toronto. The rice dogs are as good as the other locations i've tried, so no complaints there. The only downfall is the wait time, so maybe walk around a bit in the plaza.

Yelp
If some of you guys are like me than you probably wouldn't be that interested in trying what looks like "an Asian corn dog". Luckily, I had a friend that ranted and raved about this place and Korean street food in general. Let me tell you, I haven't felt so wrong in awhile. Food: Before I talk about each item I ordered let me give y'all an idea of what these are. These are hot dogs or sausages covered in sticky rice (almost dough like) that is deep fried. Depending on what you order, there are additives along with the hot dog inside the rice casing such as cheese or hot sauce. On top of this, they add a variety of sauces and powders after it's served to customize your rice dog. There were 3 different corn dogs we had tried: - Double Cheese Hotdog - Ramen Chip Hotdog - Volcano Hotdog The Double Cheese Hotdog did not disappoint in its name. The first half of the hotdog was pure cheese (I believe mozzarella and cheddar) and the second half being hotdog and mozzarella. The Ramen Chip Hotdog had dried ramen as the coating for the rice dog; at first we thought it was a gimmick but it blended well with the rice dog. The last, and my personal favourite, was the Volcano Rice Dog which had more of a sausage than hotdog inside. There was so much meat in this rice dog and you can feel the heat. I would definitely come back and order two more of these. Customer Service: The customer service is really professional. Super fast food preparation (probably around 5 min from ordering to food prepared). The cashier was well informed and recommended toppings that went well with each rice dog. Price: For all 3 the bill came to around $20. Between my girlfriend and I we were pretty full. I think this definitely a good option if y'all are looking for cheap eats. Conclusion: Seriously, if you are still on the fence give it a try. The worst that happens is that you are out $5 - $7. That being said, I would be shocked if you are disappointed.

Yelp
chungchun changed the game for me. the first time i tried korean corndogs was a completely different experience as they did not add add any seasonings for me. chungchun, however, made me eat korean corn dogs weekly when i was home in mississauga. one time i went every day for a week. the way i gained ten pounds because of this place... you can't go wrong with any of the items. after trying out most of the menu, i now get the half and half with pretty much the same seasonings each time. they're around $5 each excl tax, and it helps that there's a boba store next store lol it's the perfect snack honestly! you have to eat them immediately after you purchase them. they taste best when they're still fresh. they'll still taste good after, but not as good as when they're still crunchy and fresh out of the store. trust me. i'm not gonna take one star out out of pettiness but chungchun if you're reading this, please stop putting less seasoning on my corndogs!

Alka B.

Yelp
I saw a lot of pictures of this place on social media and wanted to try the hype. I can confirm it is delicious. Everything is made fresh to order so you don't need to be worried about a stale hot dog. My favourite hotdog is definitely the potato dog! Also if you have a sweet tooth they also have a chocolate version which taste very similar to a funnel cake.

Rafaella J.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place and finally got the chance tonight. The food was delicious, my sister and I got four hotdogs in total; the cheese hot dog, squid-ink cheese hotdog and two ramen hotdogs. I really like how many topping options they have for you to add. Two were super filling and the price is amazing! The staff was also super nice and friendly, I would definitely recommend this place to my friends!

Courtney C.

Yelp
First time at this Mississauga location. Everything was fried to perfection. My go to favourite is always the potato dog. Crispy potatoes on the outside with ketchup and BBQ sauce on top! Can't go wrong with that!

Spencer H.

Yelp
Chung Chun Rice Dogs was a pleasant experience the service was friendly and even offered suggestions on what sauces you could put on the rice dog. The only complaint I have is that the sign with your order number on it wasn't very visible and it was only on one window when I think it should be on both when people are waiting outside due to covid. Overall it's a good place to try if you're in the area!

Ling D.

Yelp
First time eating a corn dog and I love it!! The sweet potato corn dog is great and they had a variety of seasoning / sauces you can choose from

Kristine L.

Yelp
Delicious and novel concept. Great service. We eat here regularly, rain or shine, any time of the day and any time of the year.

Yelp
i love korean corndogs and this place has a lot of variety and delicious corndogs. the issue is that it takes extremely long. im not sure if its because its a small store, but the workers seemed to be doing nothing just talking with eachother. my 2 plain corndogs took 20 minutes. it wasnt even extremely busy either and the only way to order is in store. i was glad they accepted my request for sauce on the side and the packaging was nice aswell. the cheese was spilling out of one of the corndogs and the coating was bursted which was very unfortunate as by the time i reached home (about 5 minutes) a lot of cheese had seeped out. i wish they payed more attention to the defect as it was also there when the packaged it but she just didnt seem to care.
