They are super helpful. They have tons of guides in various languages. And they know what's in the guides. You need to know what you want to know or what you are looking for. There are wheelchairs available for use for two days if you are in a neighborhood hotel. English is AWESOME!!!! Or should I have said English was excellent!

A friend had visited Tokyo in September and told me about an opportunity to "borrow" (rent) a free Wi-Fi router that work throughout the Tokyo area. I even took it up to Saitama north of Tokyo to visit the famous Railway Museum. It worked flawlessly and amazing that the Chuo City Tourist Information Center would make these available and at no real cost. You need to bring your foreign passport and a ¥5000 deposit and they will lend you this excellent Wi-Fi router for up to seven days! The staff's English was excellent and they were extremely helpful to ensure that the router was working properly with my iPhone. The location of the Chuo City Tourist Information Center is in the basement of a very modern building only a few blocks east of Tokyo station and very easy to locate.
I can not recommend this service enough for the convenience to access Wi_Fi while visiting Tokyo!
