⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A true hidden gem! I visited Woodfire Pizza & Church Bar last night and was absolutely blown away! Tucked away at the back of a church, this place has a unique charm and cozy ambiance that makes it feel extra special. The pizza was next level—perfectly wood-fired with fresh toppings and incredible flavors. Easily one of the best I’ve had! The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing pizza and a great vibe. Will definitely be back! 🍕✨

What an amazing opportunity to experience the ambience of Church Bar all by myself. It was a Wednesday afternoon at about 3pm. I was greeted by Natalie, who is friendly and easy to talk with. She allowed me to read and smell all of the Archie Rose whisky bottles. Delicious pizza with extra oomph from the homemade chilli oil. Chill music playlist. An amazing spot to read a book when there’s little to no customers about. Thank you for a fantastic experience.

This place is really nice. Staff were great. Good beers on tap. Pizza was great. I ordered the Brewongle pizza. Great crust and yum meat toppings. Will return again when in Bathurst again. Classy place.

Hidden gem in Bathurst! Not looking for it your would miss it. Tucked away in a little alley way opens up like a Tardis when you open the door. The pizza is sssooooogood, amazing crust and so tasty. Some of the nicest staff you will ever meet. Don’t miss this when in Bathurst

I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re expecting good customer service. The man behind the bar, who I believe runs the business, was rude and unprofessional. At one point, he was loudly arguing with the chef in full view and earshot of the customers. While the food was good, the experience was spoiled by the poor service. I felt like I was an inconvenience just for being there, as if I was expected to eat quickly and leave.

Easy the best pizza in the area. A little towards the pricy side however. Otherwise a very unique spot, preserving the old church feel while also providing ample seating to eat. 5 stars for excellence in the area

Google
Lovely vibrant atmosphere, nice n warm, great location, lovely old converted church, abit anonymous though, we booked a table online, when u arrive u just go and find ur table without 1st talking to anyone, your food is delivered kinda in a rush and wait staff then disappear, no one checks to see if ur happy with the meal etc, problem I had was I wasn't happy , my pizza had standing water throughout the centre section, very very soggy, eat with knife n fork, tasted great tbh but .... I'll attach a pic but it doesn't do justice to how soggy it was , apart from that I'd recommend the place, just don't accept the pizza like that I should have said something but didn't

Yelp
A solid 4. Is it a great bar? Absolutely! Was it some nice pizzas? Yep! So why wasn't it 5 stars? Ok this comes down to personal preference. All in all the pizzas were great, I enjoyed our couple of pizzas and definitely wish I had ordered more! But! Both pizzas were very 'wet' in the middle with practically no crust. Soggy didn't quite explain it. Just so wet I figured it has gotta be the style and to that I did not enjoy at all. U can't even fold a u shape triangle to feed yourself cause it's just so saggy from the moisture. That said, flavour was there and I did wish I ordered an extra one. The menu was interesting for me, overall I felt like half the menu were very similar with just 1 or 2 ingredients different. We ordered the Kelso and the Brewongle and if it wasn't for the olives and mushroom you might think they are practically the same. I guess that was the point? Anyway, I'm not complaining. I enjoyed my lunch and I recommend this place! Come with some friends and you'd have a great afternoon! Even the LLB was above average

Yelp
Church Bar is pretty great anytime for delicious woodfired gourmet pizzas or just for drinks. It's housed in an old church school house and makes for a lovely setting both indoors with its low lighting and original features, or outdoors in the courtyard. There are local wines and beers plus a cocktail list. The pizza menu includes more than twenty mouthwatering combos and are named after the main streets in the town. There's also a dessert pizza if you somehow still have room left at the end of your meal! On my first visit I was here for dinner with family and had the 'Russell' pizza - sautéed mushrooms, grilled asparagus, mozzarella, topped with a poached egg and drizzled with truffle oil - very moreish! Another night we'd already had dinner earlier that evening but popped in to join family and friends for drinks and a snack of garlic pizza bread to share. It's a popular place and does get noisy inside when it's busy but outside is quieter if you need a little less volume.

Yelp
Best bar in all of Bathurst. Amazing woodfired pizzas including crocodile, kangaroo and duck pizzas!! Great cocktail list and awesome selection of boutique beers!

Yelp
My wife and I shared the Hereford Pizza (slowed cooked pork belly, w caramelized granny smith apples), which came out very soon after we ordered. The pizza was very good, with a very crispy crust, minimal cheese and sauce. The serving size is decent; a full meal for one person or can be shared. The list of pizzas and ingredients are unlike other places I've tried (e.g. crocodile, pork belly). We will definitely stop back again to try some of there other creations. The service is decent, with patrons placing their orders at the bar, and them bringing the food out to you. The bartender who took our order was very nice. The decor is very hip, using a church building and keeping that theme going with low lighting, candles and minimal alterations to the original interior. As one review noted, it gets pretty loud in here when it's busy. There's also a patio, which would have been nice on a warmer day. There's a good selection of wines and cocktails. My only gripe about this place is that besides pizza and drinks, there's nothing in terms of appetizers. So you're either having a full pizza, or sharing, but there's no other in between options. However, as the pizzas are done so well here, this is a minor compliant.

Yelp
Amazing venue: live music, outdoor seating, converted church with soaring ceilings. Food was top notch: gourmet pizza toppings on thin crispy crust from wood fired oven Service: friendly but typically overwhelmed on a lovely summer night We will definitely be back

Yelp
Nice casual dining atmosphere but can get a bit loud with a large crowd. Good woodfired gourmet pizza and a few nice options on the cocktail menu!

Yelp
Excellent pizza. Delicious cocktails (on the expensive side though, $13-16 for the signature ones) and drinks. A good place to have a large group dinner out but make sure you book a table, especially on the weekend. The outside area is really nice and bit quieter choice when the weather is good.

Yelp
Their Sunday special for uni students and cheap cocktails are a must to chill on a lazy Sunday night.

Yelp
Came in for Sunday Mass and was sorely disappointed. Beer and pizzas we're great but no eternal salvation.
