Church Guest House

We arrived at the Church Guesthouse after quite a long drive and were very well received by our hosts. They were both very kind and helpful and wanted to make sure we had the best stay possible. The room was large and immaculately clean, with a great comfy bed. We felt very refreshed after our one night stay and enjoyed our continental breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay here again and it's highly recommended for anyone interested in seeing the sights of Cardiff . ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍

Comfortable and well located. Friendly hosts and a choice of cooked or continental breakfast. The continental was more than enough for me. A short walk to the centre of Cardiff and Cardiff castle. 2 minutes from the Cardiff cricket ground. An ideal base for a few days in the Welsh Capital. Highly recommended.

Great guesthouse with very nice and welcoming host. Tasty breakfast and situated perfectly to explore Cardiff on foot - just as short walk mostly through a park to the castle and city center. Very clean room.

Excellent location, close to the centre, with on-street parking and pleasant surroundings. Our room was a bit cold and damp feeling, breakfast not great. Ok, but will try some of the others nearby when next looking for a place to stay in Cardiff.

The people running the guest house were fantastic, really friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to see and where to eat. We stayed for 2 nights and slept really well in a very comfy bed. Everything was low key, but really well done.

Room lovely and clean, bed so comfortable and shower hot. Breakfast was just right. Hosts were excellent, with perfect Welsh charm and witty. 10/10

Nice and quiet with friendly hosts. David and Clive go to all length to accommodate requests for meals. Clean and confortable beds for the tired traveler.

A brilliant place to stay they looked after us really well. Great breakfast I can't recommend this place enough also a great night sleep.

Say hello to Andrew. "Hiya!" Andrew manages and runs The Church Guest House and always looks forward to your arrival. Andrew and the Church Guest House are situated in the heart of the Victorian district of Pontcanna, a short walk from Cardiff city centre. They are both happy happy beings. The guest house has recently been spruced up and refurbished establishment and they've gained 4 stars from Visit Wales. The building offers a quiet, relaxing atmosphere for its guests to stay in. This is a well located place. As Andrew says: 'For those interested in the history and culture of Cardiff and Wales the castle and museum of Welsh Life are nearby, whilst a short walk away are the Millenium Stadium, Swalec cricket ground, Cardiff international arena and Cardiff Stadium for major sporting and entertainment events.' They offer a wide variety of rooms starting from single rooms up to rooms that sleep 4 people. All Rooms have Wifi and colour televisions (some with freeview). All Rooms come with hospitality trays and all guests are provided with their own front door key on arrival. There are ensuites in all rooms with the exception of a couple of single rooms.

This guesthouse was recommended and I was very happy. It's clean and quiet. Rachel is very accommodating. Would stay here again when visiting Wales.

We stayed with Andrew at the church guest house for a weekend visiting friends in Cardiff. This bnb is by far the best I have stayed out, it's very very clean and tidy. We booked a twin room as there was very little available in Cardiff that weekend because of the football. Amazingly however Andrew pushed the beds together to make a massive double for us!! I sadly didn't make it to breakfast as it finished at 9:30 and my lazy little self was enjoying a lie in, my other half did however and reported back that it was good. Thankyou for the very enjoyable stay
