The panoramic view was just chef’s kiss — perfect to soak in the beauty of Matera as day slowly fades into night. Matera during the day is beautiful, no doubt. But Matera at night? Absolutely magical. L It’s honestly breathtaking. 💡 If you’re visiting Matera, don’t leave without seeing it at night. You won’t regret it.

It’s definitely one of the most beautiful and popular rock churches in Matera. It is perched on the upper part of Monterrone, the cliff that lies in the middle of Sasso Caveoso. It dates back to the 12th century and it has several frescoes.

Unfortunately, i did not know this is a church, so i came there very late. It is beautiful outside! Matera is generally a dream place!
