Church on the Queensway

This is my favourite place to be. I love the welcoming vibe and atmosphere as I began attending this church after the fallout of another one. The people here are so kind and loving. You can feel the presence of God in all shapes and forms when you're here. The choir is incredible, so dedicated and attuned to all the feelings that arise during service. I highly recommend coming here to try this place as your church. You'll never want to leave. Love Paster Billy-he's the best too.

We attended a youth conference(the change) at Queensway Church in Etobicoke, and I was thoroughly impressed! The church is humongous, beautifully laid out, and can easily accommodate 3,000+ people. The seats are comfortable. That’s a bonus. The upstairs seating is very welcomed especially when below is full or crowded. One of the highlights for me was the massive parking lot—such a rarity, especially in downtown where free parking is hard to come by. The only downside was the restroom situation. With such a large crowd, there was only one set of washrooms available, making it a bit challenging. I believe this could have been improved by opening more restrooms for the event. But overall, the church is a fantastic venue for large gatherings, and I’d highly recommend it.

My first time here and I was quite blown away by the size of the church, the energy, the organization, all the high-tech, the multigenerational and multiracial composition of the congregation, everything. The sermon was very meaningful and very well done. The place could probably accommodate about 3000 people. For the second service of the day, it was about 80% occupancy on the main floor and about 40% in the balcony. That’s a lot of people considering they have a whole lot of other attendees in their earlier service of the day. Everything was top-notch, the place was clean, the bathrooms were available, there were plenty of meeting rooms, so many activities that you can get involved in, etc. I’m just exploring but I plan to return to explore with this church. I think I will learn many good things here.

Very welcoming, relaxed and easy going. Great kids programs well organized, bright and friendly. The Pastor is experienced, funny and engaging. The church is Bible based, have a wonderful lively choir. The church has 2 floors with restrooms on both levels, accommodations for individuals with hearing impairments and individuals in wheelchairs/physical disabilities, a huge parking space but the church is right at a stop light so the there is quite a wait to exit the parking lot.

My family and I have been attending Church On The Queensway for 20 years now! No other Church in the city has Children's, Teens or Youth Ministries like this Church! When your children look forward to Friday night church groups and attending church every Sunday morning, you know the Holy Spirit is present and the church is doing something right! I am incredibly appreciative of the community, fellowship, and wonderful, God-led, Holy Bible-following shepherds at this truly blessed house of worship. All the praise, honour and glory is yours, Lord, for your hand and love over this precious church of yours! Blessings! ✝️ 🙏❤️

Attended this church for the first time since moving to Canada last week, and it was a truly uplifting experience. The spiritual atmosphere is great and very lively, with excellent infrastructure. The pastor's profound knowledge and articulate explanations of the gospel resonated with me. It's heartening to see people from all over Canada coming together for Sunday worship. The sermon deeply touched my heart, mind, and soul, and the pastor's prayer left a lasting impact. Grateful for this connection to God definitely a must-visit church.

The Church of the Queensway is a beautiful and welcoming place. The atmosphere is full of peace, kindness, and inspiration every Sunday. First time coming in today with my family. My wife and I loved it. Everyone was friendly and made us feel like we’ve been part of their church for a long time. My toddler loved the nursery too. I know she likes the people there because she was sad when we picked her up. I forgot their names but they were really nice.

We came in at 6:30p mass and not a lot of people yet. They have great seating and the choir sounded amazing. Spending Christmas in Canada this year.

I'm a lightworker, being bullied and desperate to speak to someone in the church. I was told someone would call me. I cried on the phone asking for guidance. No one called.

to anyone unsure, searching , considering returning to Church....... Start Here!! Large Sunday service, people care, from the greeters at the front door, the ushers, the Pastors and the volunteers. Childcare available , groups, classes for youths adults, seniors. Counselling for couples, trips for missions. Even a library with family safe DVD's to borrow

Probably the best church I have been too. What makes a godly pastor? If he prays and seeks the lord and the lord tells him what you are going through. And you don't have to mention anything to the pastor. Not a single word. And he would 'call it out" and offer prayers for what you are going through. It will be only you and God who knowns what you are dealing with in life. Not the entire church, I don't believe in telling the entire church what you are dealing with cause some things are personal. Cause sometimes or most of time you what you are going through is no ones business but you and god's. So this pastor does seek the lord. That is the most important thing any pastor can do. Is pray and wait for god to tell him what to do and who to pray for. Many times I am dealing with heart aches and just saying anything to anybody, I would break out in tears. The pastor feels what you are going through and he should be sensitive to the Holy Spirit so that the pastor would know what to do and how to pray for those who are hurting. And all this should happen without you mentioning anything to anyone but God. Thats how you know a pastor is for real and seeks a word from the lord. Yes, god talks to pastors and this it how you will know the difference from real godly pastors and fake pastors who don't seek the lord on what to pray or know what the congregation is going through. Here's an example of personal situation I am dealing with. My mom had stroke few years back and I been depressed and lots my joy in life. Right at the start of the service the pastor was searching for something spiritually. Then he turns to far right of the church and looked right at me and said. " God Bless Him." And I knew it was a word for me. Cause my heart was hurting. Thats how you know he's a real godly pastor "who looks for knowledge from God himself,"

Came here for the play. Wow, this place put off so many people. Had to walk out midway along with many others. The highlights: the pastor is super crude. He asked people to raise their hands. For those who raised their hands, they only had to give $1,000.00 to the church. To those who did not raise their hand, they have to give $10,000.00. Now, I thought, ok, what a joker, ha ha. Until the intermission. He guilt tripped people for paying only $5.00 for the ticket and he prayed to raise $19,000.00 minimum because that's how much he is in the hole for the day's production. The production hires paid actors, the play said so. There was nothing biblical about the story. The false advertisement says it's about the book of Job, it was about Joe Jones. The pastor dances in the play which Is ridiculous considering the advertised Christian biblical play. He said some of the audience members are Scrooge's, could be the person sitting beside you. Take out your credit card he says, we are from Toronto after all, so we must have credit cards. Oh ok. Furthermore, he berated people for paying $5.00 for his play but be able to pay $47.00 apparent dollars at Starbucks. He asked the audience to text joy to 393939 to win a $250.00 MasterCard gift card. He said all the money raised will go to furthering God's word, in direct contradiction to his statement that he was $19k in the hole for the secular play he put on mimicking a Christmas story and Scrooge. Even the donation envelopes ask for your credit card. They sent out buckets to collect money. The pastor recommended $20.00 or more for donation. Why they didn't charge more for their apparent $19,000.00 play, I don't know. There are many more shocking revelations about this organization that so shocked me to the core. Go here if you want to pay for your happiness** and throw your money away to a guilt tripper. Be prepared to be side swiped. You think you're there for a play, a church and ta-da!!! Pull out your credit cards and drop your money in the bucket, and how dare you not?

I was several times at the Church On The Queensway. Pastor Billy Richards gave awesome sermons combined with fun and spiritual depth. I always was blessed richely by the sermons, the worship and the friendliness of the people. Also the great youth work impressed me. If I would live in Toronto, I would be part of that church.
