Went on a Sunday to catch up with some friends. The lighting needs to improvise. Coming to the service ,that was perfectly awesome The food was alright. We had the corn soup, which was quite nice. The bhelpuri was also good. The pasta was really good. The burger was nice too. kitkat shake was Lit. The nachos was a good snack.

Another quick yet awesome Social’s experience at the Church Street Social. We had the small plates and every item was delicious- Ghee Roast Chicken Baos, Chooza (Lollipop), and butter garlic prawns! Their service was fast yet with great food! My drink came in a lantern, that’s Social being extra unique in their style 😎 Definitely recommend going here.

Food was decent but drinks lacked any interesting combinations. Service was fast and good Ambience was not bad, but could be a bit, seating a bit neater.. Railing on the stairs.

Ok place not really to my liking ..the staff at the entrance are arrogant both the security & reception, guess all this row about kannada people against having North Indians n North East staff is making sense. Wouldn't visit or recommend this place to anyone. The 5 star for service is for the person who served us inside.

Being from Bangalore, I get nostalgic when I think of what Bangalore was like growing up and walking the streets of MG.Road, Brigade Road, Church Street, etc... Given how it has evolved over time, things are bound to change and I was amazed at the variety of global cuisines available just on church street alone! At one end is Church Street Social, a lovely place to hang out and have a pint. That's exactly what we did too! Being Oktoberfest, there was a sausage snack which we tried that turned out to be quite nice as well. Sadly though, the place was rather quiet given it was late afternoon and things started to pick up as we left early evening. Now when I said pint, I actually wasn't speaking of beer. What we did have was a Banarasi Patiala drink - essentially a glass of sugar cane juice spiked with 90 ml of you choice (white rum, black rum or vodka). The menu clearly says they can't serve more than 2 drinks per person, which tells you of the kind of kick you stand to get! Overall, an enjoyable place with a cool vibe with an F1 corner too where you can take pictures with cut-out boards of the F1 drivers, in case you are a fan. I look forward to visiting early evening onwards when it gets a bit lively and enjoying a drink (or three!) soon enough.

Ambiance was good, decoration can improve. Food taste is ok ok , it's costly but not bad . Drink and food price could be little reasonable keeping in mind the competition in the area. Overall experience is good. Had Zomato coupon so bill didn't hurt much.

I'm honestly not sure what happened to Social's food. Apparently they've changed their menu, but it feels like they destroyed what made it so good. Met a friend for coffee in the morning expecting some good bar food and coffee and we were so disappointed. Most of the stuff we wanted have been taken off the menu (the grilled options) and everything else seems to be slathered in mayonnaise. It hurt my heart to see my Mezze platter. The hummus was swimming in vegetable oil (what happened to using Olive oil?!), there was a dump of garlic mayo and the protein was slathered in more garlic mayo and so was the side salad (raw onions and some cucumber) My friend’s sandwich tower looked so good, but tasted like neglect. Flip side, both had good, well seasoned fries. The coffee was less than great and in 2024, Social still does not have non dairy milk. Why you be like this Social?
