churrasco restaurant ALEGRIA shinjuku

This is really a bad Brazilian barbecue restaurant. I am sure their picanha it’s not picanha, it is too tough to be picanha. They are definitely using a different meat but even that they are not choosing even one that could make us think is picanha so for me that can only means whoever is preparing doesn’t understand even the basic. Plus all the other meat had NO salt at all. Their vinagrete is just funny. They should consult a Brazilian to rethink on their menu because is just so wrong. The whole experience it’s not good, shouldn’t be called Brazilian churrasco. They of course keep bringing chicken, pork, veggies. Their pão de queijo is bad but if you have never eaten a good one maybe you would like I guess. If you go to a barbecue you want to eat steak the most but like any other brazikian bbq in japan, they try to make you full with other things. Their choice of linguica is just.. idk what to say. Like you could buy so many options of Brazilian linguica in japan but they choose the meh one. Their drinks… I mean is fine but the wine glass was mix with water. Horrible if they think we wouldn’t notice. They serve curry(?) I didn’t get that like so random. Customer service was fine, like they were polite and funny. We had no issues with them besides the food being bad.

The meat was really juicy and good and the wait staff were very attentive and welcoming. I liked that the wait between meats being offered wasn't too long so you didn't feel as if you were sitting hungry. Compared with other churrasco places though, I personally prefer ones with all-you-can/eat salad bars too. This lunch buffet is the most economical one, but with the one drink mandatory order included, I would rather go with a different restaurant that offered me a full salad bar and desserts. Regardless, the meats were high quality and tasted great!

It’s a great Brazilian barbecue restaurant! Churrasco! It’s good place! The building’s facades is pink so looks cute. It’s all you can eat. They have various meats served. The meats are all great so juicy and delicious! Taste wonderful! Not only meat but also they have small plates menu like bread or salad. But they don’t have salad bar which we see in regular churraaco restaurants. This place is not like authentic Brazilian place. Very nice but not Brazilian decor so not Brazilian dance. Enjoy!

We made our reservation about two hours before we came, and it was too busy for a Saturday evening. You should probably fast before going, or at least have eight hours of no solids in your belly. It was smart to go slow like most of the reviews said, if you’re ready to go all out and treat yourself to many delicious textures and flavors. We had a wonderful experience and all of the staff were in great spirits! Friendly and very welcoming! We had our baby in stroller, so there is room for one if you are a parent considering bringing little one who can’t quite sit up on their own!

Everything was cooked perfectly, never had to wait, never felt rushed, really great value for money! Everyone was so nice. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

The meet and food was quite nice and some really good side dishes too. However they ran out of wine on the all you can drink in the middle of the meal. And early in the night. Also *very* pushy about leaving. Despite the food being good I wouldn't go again or recommend.

The place is small but that doesn’t mean is any bad. The food was good and they offered several types, being the pinaple and the cheese sausage the best ones. The staff could improve a little, but they weren’t bad. Pricewise it felt cheap for the amount of food you get and they don’t chance the prices for dinner.

All you can eat is Varieties of Meat items!! Satisfying taste and the service too. You can request your favorite items as many times as you want. Pineapple was my repetitive order 😂

Pretty good but not great. As my first churrasco experience in Japan, it is hard to measure it compared to other Japanese restaurants in the area. If you're looking for a lot of meat for a reasonable price and a comfy atmosphere, this place might be for you. The meats were not the highest quality but they were all tender and cooked and seasoned very well. One small salad and one cheese roll were also a bit disappointing compared to endless at most churassco restaurants I've been to else where. Check groupon for deals!

We were just looking for a lunch place, but this was a solid Brazilian steakhouse. Great service and brag worthy food!
