Great steak , tasty soft ,nice vibe , friendly .

The saltiest meat I've had at a restaurant. The ribeye was cooked to order but the pork was very dry. Half of the menu isn't available. One item wasn't brought to the table despite ordering it from the beginning and reminding them two times. And it's expensive. Overall can't recommend this place.

Good food and service. EXCEPT! there's a service fee we thought it was for the waiters and the service. But NO! It's just for using their restaurant. I wouldn't go again, just because of that. We found it so unfair.

Steak and salad , side dishes are absolutely delicious. Wood fired grill🔥 . And great value with attentive service.

One of the best grilled meat in Tarija. Probably more suitable to bring your family. Overall the mear was 9/10 almost perfect, soft meat, really delicious. The staff was really great taking care of your questions about the food. It's recommended to have a reservation or arrive early. Definitely it's a must!!!

I'll start by saying I am not a steak connoisseur - but this was damn good. Very high quality meat. I made the mistake of ordering the equivalent of medium rare, instead of medium, and had to get mine put back on the grill for a moment. My dinner companion did not make that error and hers was just perfect. We also got a nice local wine to go with it - a great meal with excellent, patient service, and as others have noted, descent salads (though really, who would go for the salads?) This spot is as good as its reputation suggests it would be.

Best steak ever!! Worth every penny! Loved their salad bar!!! If you visit Tarija, this one is a MUST!!

We tried El Fogon de Gringo in Santa Cruz first. It was recommended by friends who know the owner. Then, we went to the one in Tarija and were amazed. What really made it special was our waitress. Her name was Augustina F. You could tell she thoroughly enjoyed her job, and her happiness made us feel welcome and made our time at El Fogon de Gringo a wonderful positive experience. We would recommend it to all. Thank you, Augustina.....😊😊
