Ciabatta Cafe & Bakery

We came in as a big group of 20+ and the team at Ciabatta Rotorua looked after us really well. The long dog is next level, the bread is mean – fresh and crunchy – and the cronuts were a good size and pretty tasty too. Awesome vibe, great food, and they handled a big crew with no hassle. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best place to grab bakery treats and coffee in town! I love that it’s pet-friendly too, perfect for stopping by when I’m out walking my pup. The vibe is just awesome, super welcoming, and makes you want to stay longer.

Had an outstanding breakfast at Ciabatta in Rotorua. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor—especially the BREKKIE which was perfectly cooked. The coffee was top-notch and the service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. A great way to start the day—highly recommended!

Tried the brekkie and the lammie sandwiches on 2 consecutive days.. both times were great..dine-in has lots of seats and privacy .. limited parking is available at the premises; gotta wait sometimes or drive further down the road.

Highly recommend, friendly staff, quick service and delicious food! We had a yummy pretzel and an amazing premium bacon & egg sandwich on a parmesan and garlic ciabatta! 🤤

So late September this year my wife and I were in Rotorua looking for somewhere to have breakfast. We found this place which looked clean and tidy with a nice ambience.. i’m a big fan of eggs Benedict with both smoked salmon or bacon and that is my go to breakfast when I eat out. My Filipino wife also likes it, but we often order something else. On the menu we saw they do an eggs Benedict with smoked brisket and that seemed very appealing. We weren’t disappointed. it was absolutely delicious and I can’t recommend it enough. We are from Australia, but if we are ever back that way we definitely will go back.

Dropped in for a late breakfast, the food was delicious and the standard was excellent. I have been before and over the years the standard has always been high. I think it might even be better than ever. Lemon meringue éclair was off the chart. So good to have this standard in rotorua. Well done to the owners and staff for such service. Thank you

Super good cafe. The ciabatta bread was the best I've eaten in NZ, so fluffy and flavoursome. The lamb was tender, and sauce matched well. Tried some of the salmon sandwich and croissant too, both of which were delicious also. Better than any cafe in Auckland, and will definitely come back when I visit Rotorua again :)
