Very good Restaurant! As soon as I found this place had to go there to eat almost every day. Food is incredible and for a good price also! All the waiters are really friendly and make a very good job in caring for your demands! I enjoyed my waiter Rati Ram a lot, really a friendly guy who did his job great! (The other waiters were also very good I have to say!) Thank you for the good food, good price and good service! Will come back 100% when I should come to Goa again!

Absolutely loved staying here. Enjoyed their restaurant food as well - very affordable! Our stay had only one downside: the scooter rental guy this place works with was quite the shark. Not only did he charge us the price for a full day while we only needed it half a day, insisting we'd bring back the scooter the same evening instead of the next morning (which didn't seem to be his general policy). More annoyingly, he claimed we had damaged the scooter (which we hadn't), for which he asked 1200 rupees extra. When we said we didn't cause the scratches he was pointing at, he got mad, starting cursing, claimed he was not gonna push us for the money, but just wanted us to be honest, and that God would punish us if we really had caused the scratches. I would not be writing all this if the next day he didn't play the exact same trick on our friends. He pointed at scratches on the motorbike they rented, asked for 1200 rupees, said he wasn't pushing for them to pay but just wanted them to be honest about it, and then said - and I quote - "if something nasty happens to you during the rest of your trip, I want you to remember me". Ciarans, I recommend you stop giving people this guy's number. Visitors, enjoy Ciarans! And rent a scooter elsewhere.

We were recommended to stay at this hotel by a friend. We booked to visit late January, early February after touring India. We are so glad we did; what a truly beautiful place right on Palolem Beach in Southern Goa. We stayed in one of the air conditioned front facing beach huts with a verandah on which to relax. Simple accommodation with absolutely stunning views of the beach. We enjoyed seeing the sunsets every evening whilst sipping on a cocktail. The staff are super friendly and the service is great. The food is lovely and fresh and the dishes are so flavoursome. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful and they have a massage service on site. A reasonably priced hotel in a stunning location. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it.

Ciarans is a little piece of paradise set right on Palolem beach from lovely beach rooms you can hear and see the waves breaking. Set in lovely well kept tropical gardens the beach is within a couple of strides. The restaurant is right on the beach and the food is excellent, varied and great value. The best bit is the team so helpful friendly, nothing is too much trouble. A perfect place to relax and get away from it all

This is for those looking for an eco friendly, beautiful beach hut where one can literally hear the waves thrashing all day and night. We have stayed in Ciarans every year and we take back unforgettable memories. Smack on the beach, the sea a stones throw away, quaint beautiful rooms, squeaky clean, superb service, great food. It is what a true Goa vacation should be for beach lovers.

I stayed here for 4 nights. I loved the decor ... it gives a classic old-school vibe of a place where you expect great service. Wood panelling everywhere, distinctly different aesthetic to anywhere else on palolem beach. I loved my garden view room. Big room, big bed, sizeable veranda, nature views and sounds of the ocean. Dreamy! The reception staff were excellent. My slight disappointment was the poor attention to detail in service in the restaurants. A classic place needs classic service. Waiters ready to help when you ask bit not enough proactivity. Details like having to ask for lemon and lime for g and t, or fruit garnish on cocktails or serving pint glasses with small bottles of beer. Having enough waiting staff in your tapas restaurant. Hardly deal breakers, but I do feel you're missing a trick to really elevate quality of service by paying more attention to the details, especially because you charge a premium vs. nearby restaurants.

Excellent location and the staff have been incredibly welcoming and attentive. Restaurant's waiter Rati and his team have looked after me and they made my stay a real pleasure. I've stayed both in he garden hut which was stylist and comfortable. i also stayed in room in the main building which was good but lacked light and could do with some updating. Overall my stay has been very comfortable and the service provided by reception and restaurant workers have been of excellent quality. My only concern is that the mainly migrant workers from Nepal that service the resort seem to work very long hours. Again, a huge thanks to Rati for making the visitors the most well attended in the resort :)

This Negative reviews goes to Ciarans for all below reasons. - After hotel check-in we got to know there wasn't any electricity. Despite asking the staff, we received no proper inputs. There was no generator facility in the restaurant due to which we ended up eating lunch without electricity. - Lady manager not able to give proper updates. No manners to talk with customers and forcing customers to pay entire amount asap without even allowing to check rooms etc first. - No hot water inside bathrooms. - Washroom flush was faulty for couple of our rooms. - They won't provide you water bottles and bathroom basic kits (toothpaste) etc. Overall this place is NOT worth for money. Kindly avoid staying here.
