17 Best Things to Do in Madrid

"You'll find Palacio de Cibeles at one of the city's most important intersections along the famous Paseo del Arte. The building, today the seat of Madrid City Council, was once the city's Telecommunications Palace, housing Spain's post office headquarters. Inside is a newly opened cultural center with regular concerts and rotating exhibits. At the very least, walk past this grand structure to admire it from afar, especially when the fountains in front are doing their thing." - Ramsey Qubein

Palacio de Cibeles - Landmark Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"Tell me: What’s this place all about? You'll find Palacio de Cibeles at one of the city's most important intersections along the famous Paseo del Arte. The building, today the seat of Madrid City Council, was once the city's Telecommunications Palace, housing the Spain's post office headquarters. Inside is a newly opened cultural center with regular concerts and rotating exhibits. Entrance is free, although some events require tickets. Anything we must do? Be sure to climb to the rooftop terrace, which has exceptional views. Who comes here? The building bustles with activity: locals stopping in at one of two restaurants, tourists using the free Wi-Fi while people watching. So then what, or who, do you think it’s best for? Don't make a beeline for the cultural center unless you've exhausted the main sites in town. At the very least, though, do walk past this grand structure to admire it from afar, especially when the fountains in front are doing their thing." - Ramsey Qubein

Loved the experience!! The ambience is really nice and the screen is not bad. The salmon bagel was tasty, the campari spritz was okay. However, they have several food options and prices aren’t that bad. The only thing is that the chairs are very uncomfortable and even the headphones get uncomfortable after 2 hours

The best experience in cinema in Madrid! I watched "Barbie" twice there because I really liked the idea of the headphones. It was funny to take them off and hear the crowd laughing freely :)

We booked a premium Campari package… the location is amazing but who is the Genius Mastermind behind the package??? A Salmon Bagel with Salmon??? On which planet does that fit together???… There is humus, Pizza and Hot dog, but you pair a salmon Bagel with Campari???….. W O W….. for Campari, what a shame to present your brand.

Atmospheric, with great cocktails and perfect for an outdoor cinema. Chairs and headsets very comfortable.

Great atmosphere for a cinema. Great audio as you have headset to listen to the audio of the film.

Has always been a great experience until this time! No air conditioning so ridiculously hot. They even have a screen telling you the temperature and when at 22.00 you're at almost 30 degrees there, imagine sitting through a whole movie with chairs very close together and no open doors to have a breeze or anything. I was very disappointed as I had been previous years and it was not like that.

Beautiful building, but why does everyone think it is a good idea to open a cinema in places that are def. not made to be a cinema? No air condition or fans available so that it gets crazy hot during the movie, background noise and light is too much and one little stand to sell Popcorn and Drinks to about 500 people is maybe not enough and therefore you wait forever. These plastic saets are not made for a cinema as well and I dont want to sit on these again for more than 2 hours! The movie was good though...
