The location is simply breathtaking: the view lays out Rabat in all its splendor, exposing both the past and the future, and right in between you find yourself anchored in the present moment, enjoying them both.
The setting is magical — ancient ruins, lush gardens, storks circling above — everything tells the story of Rabat’s long history while opening onto what’s yet to come. It’s a suspended moment, one that captures the very soul of the city.
That said, the prices are far from justified. Entry to the archaeological site already comes at a considerable cost, and once inside, the café’s menu, though served in a stunning environment, doesn’t live up to the expense. It leaves you with the sense that this precious moment is accompanied by an unnecessarily steep bill.
