Horrific. I barely leave reviews on this app, but people need to know:
If you want a FREE cider flight and some *really* shitty cold mozzarella sticks that you had to ask twice for only for them to come out, as stated, cold, COME ON DOWN!
Unless you're honest like my aunt was, who realized on the ride home that nobody, specifically our unattentive waitress, ever cashed us out after we sat for 20 minutes after finishing leaving us to completely forget about paying, who called anyways only to get someone on the phone that couldn't even find our bill. And then they just took my, again honest (their luck), aunts word on what we ordered and then charged her card without telling us the total. God knows how many other families left that day without realizing they didn't pay because I'm sure it happens often with the absolute lack of communication going on with the wait staff and hostess. Not that this place probably notices they're hemmoraghing money, they get so many customers.
We waited over 45 minutes in line just to get a seat. Once seated, we waited 15 more minutes for our server to get our order. We waited 10 minutes for a hummus, baby carrot, and celery plate. They did not tell us that the pita chips ran out and that we would be getting cape cod chips instead.
(ETA: I was interested in at least trying the pizza because of the rave reviews it gets on here. But our waitress never came back after our initial cider and appetizer order to ask if we wanted to put food in. Only came by in passing to ask how our food was and that's when I reminded her of the missing mozzarella sticks. Then, once I finally got them, she put them on the table and was asking me how they were while walking away. That was the last time she came to us.)
Then we got our cider flights that came unlabeled and soaking wet on the paddle board they came on. The cups were overfilled and the woman that brought them to us kept spilling the drinks on to the board. The cider was watery and nothing special. Part of me seriously wonders if they were cutting it with water to keep up with the demand. Even if we liked it enough to want to buy some, the line for the store was just as bad as the line for the restaurant.
And then, the shitty mozzarella sticks. Some other waitress apparently took my order to another table. My waitress didn't even realize or remember that I had ordered mozzarella sticks until 20 minutes later when we asked. Then, three minutes later, I got them and they were terrible. Not that ever expect frozen mozzarella sticks to be anything special, but the marinara sauce should at least be warm, not cold. The outside of the sticks was hot, but the second you bit in to them, the cheese sticks were still cold and solid. I ate them anyways because I was starving and we figured this is how they've been doing the mozzarella sticks all day and even if we sent them back they would still probably come back cold because nobody is quality checking the food.
And then yeah, to top it all off, we didn't pay. We got up to go to the bathroom and, while this was partially on us for not at least going to the bar to pay, we saw that the hostess was already wiping our table down assuming we were done and so we just literally forgot that we didn't pay and we left.
The person on the phone sounded shocked that we were trying to pay. But I'm telling you that that just means we were probably the first group of people that afternoon to realize it and tell them.
Absolutely dysfunctional. Was hoping to come back to go apple picking or see the store another time, but I don't know if I plan on ever coming back again. So disappointing. This isn't even a wait staff issue, this is an issue with the owners and how this place is being run. The staff is absolutely overworked and it's no wonder our waitress was so inattentive when they just kept piling people in. Do not waste your time.
