Took my copain here for his birthday and it was perfect. The views were beautiful. The food was expensive but sooo délicieuse. I was actually surprised because usually when you have smaller portions the food is almost always bland. The food was well seasoned, the chicken was moist and the drinks were fruity. We had a great time! And the service was excellent. Definitely recommend.

The view, of course, is spectacular. But the service and food are also top-notch at Ciel Bistro-bar. Maude was attentive, fun, and offered great suggestions in beverage and food pairings, kept a nice pace with the meal, and put up with my horrible jokes in decent French. The universal language in this case is flavor and experience. The kids loved their salmon, which was flaky and perfectly cooked. I had a play on surf and turf with pork belly and scallops. It was balanced with richness and texture and lived up to every bit of the hype. The drinks were well-crafted. There's not much of a beer selection, but I like that they selected beers from the province. The old fashioned I had was among the best I've experienced, ever. Ciel is absolutely worth a visit and checks every box, from food, to service, to ambiance. It's a special experience.

Overall, this is a great place for brunch. Located on the 26th floor with a revolving floor providing a bird view of Quebec city and the Majestic St Lawrence River. We loved the smoked salmon, shakshuka, hot chocolate, and coffee latte. Smoothie of the day was amazing. The only suggestion we have is for the cottage cheese, spicy honey, and nuts. It literally had one nut and, in my personal opinion (I'm not a chef), may be increasing the nut quantity would bring a perfect balance to it. Otherwise, good job and would totally recommend it.

Google
Truly unforgettable dining experience! The restaurant rotates at the top of our hotel, 29 floors up, and offers a breathtaking 360º view of Quebec City in 90 minutes, perfectly timed to indulge in our appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Not pictured here was a stunning beef tartare that we began with. I savored the lamb, and Ariel enjoyed the Octopus. And we shared the decadent creme brulee and rich chocolate mouse with a brownie crust.

Google
Enjoyed the experience of the revolving floor . You could barely feel it move, you only notice by location from time to time. You pay more for the view than the food 😅. Mostly enjoyed the soup. The food and service were ok. I enjoyed getting lost on my way back from the bathroom because of the revolving aspect. Can make you question your sanity for a moment. If looking to 'chop' some money this is a good investment for the experience.

Google
Better than expected!! I thought it would be a sub-par-tourist-trap dinner, but the food was actually really good! I loved the 360° view and would recommend a 5pm reservation if visiting in the winter so you can get a glimpse of the sunset at the very beginning of your meal! The service was a big highlight for me! I loved my waitress, she was exceptional. As a vegetarian, there weren't many options, just one appetizer and one entree. I would 100% recommend the raw cheesecake for dessert! So creamy and delicious! Will definitely come back again next time I'm in Quebec City!

Google
Amazing experience from A to Z! The view is amazing as you can expect. The 360 view on Quebec is amazing, if you get a chance to get a clear sky and go near sunset. The service was very good. Our waitress was super nice and offered a fast service. For my girlfriend’s birthday she brought us a chocolate mousse with a candle. Their drinks are amazing, try their Sangria it’s one of the best drinks we’ve tried! The food is 10/10 and the prices are very fair for the quality of the food and the experience you will get at Ciel. The mushrooms we’re amazing. The braised beef was one of the best we tried. The lamb shoulder was very good as well as the beef tartare. This is a must try in Quebec !!

Google
Amazing views of Quebec City from the restaurant, bust most of all, the service and food is outstanding! Every recommendation was great, and the service of our waitress was exceptional. It’s a must to visit, make you reservation in advance! We tried almost every main course and all of them were delicious…

Yelp
We wanted to check out the amazing view at this revolving restaurant, but definitely get a reservation online beforehand if you want to dine in here. We came after 130p and were told lunch hour is over. However, we can order drinks and desserts which turned out to be just perfect. Luckily we got a great clear day and had a wonderful view of the city. We got to enjoy some cocktails while sharing desserts with our friends. When you get a perfect sunny day, don't forget to wear some face sunscreen since you are on the 28th floor. Absolutely would recommend anyone going to Québec City to visit Ciel even if just for drinks. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful even though it was his last day working at the restaurant.

Yelp
What an incredible evening! We're here from California. The ambience was wonderful. Our server Louis was better than you could even imagine. We had an allergy in the group and he and the chef made everything to perfection. We so appreciate everything he did for us and how kind everybody was. We made a reservation and we were seated at the correct time. We had a cheese tray, the steak tartare,, the pork chop, And the chicken. The pork chop was probably the moistest chop we've ever had. The steak tartare was so yummy. I couldn't believe it. The chicken was overdone, but not their fault. We had to have it without the sauce. I would recommend this to everyone. Seeing the city at night was lovely.

Yelp
If you're in Quebec City, you must try this restaurant. It's on the 24th floor of the Hotel Concorde. You are able to see across the city - and you're literally moving in a circle while you eat so you can see a full 360 view. The ambience is excellent, the food tracks with the cost. The service was impeccable. Appreciated the wait staff's patience with my intermediate French. My dish was the pork with veggies. My goodness, tender, excellent sauce with the chimichurri! The little guy got the sausage and potatoes with variety of green beans and asparagus. He ate most of it. And hubs got the chicken! No leftovers present. Please make a reservation here and put the cherry on top of your visit to Quebec.

Yelp
Come for the novelty of the rotating restaurant. The pear juice was a little funky but the waitress replaced it. Hot chocolate was good. the fruit bowl was sad . The crepe was good and so was the yogurt and duck

Yelp
Coming here was one of the highlights of my trip in Québec City. It really surpassed my expectations! I had made reservations in advance but had run a little late to my reserved time by 15min due to weekend bus schedules. The staff, however, was accommodating and seated me right away upon my arrival. This was my first time at a rotating restaurant, and I was quite fascinated and loved the concept. Lots of great views of the surrounding area and city during the course of one's meal. To my surprise, the food was also absolutely tasty. The dish I got for a Saturday brunch was the salmon eggs benedict dish and a fruit dish (included) and a couple of lattes. I wanted to come in with low expectations because I feel like sometimes the food isn't as high quality for restaurants that seem too good to be true, but it was the exact opposite here. Food was 10/10 delicious and filling. The staff as well was very kind and attentive, but not overbearing. Absolutely would recommend any going to Québec City to come here (hopefully on a clear day)! I would love to visit again at some point and would absolutely take friends here to impress too!

Yelp
Our final evening in Quebec City we wanted to treat ourselves to a fine dining restaurant. While there is no shortage of fine dining restaurants here, I chose this one because of all the others I looked at, it had meal options from the main menu that I thought my little ones would eat. Unbeknownst to me they have a kids menu and it rocks! For $15 they get a beverage, soup of the day, a main (fish, pasta dish or sausage and potatoes dish), and surprise dessert. We opted for the pasta with bolognese sauce and mackerel for our kids. The soup was cream of mushroom and surprise dessert was a log of ice cream coated in some sort of perhaps white chocolate and topped with chocolate sauce, fresh berries, oreo cookies and oreo cookie crumbles. It was beautifully presented. We did not have a reservation and rolled the dice walking in around 7 because they do take some walk-ins, although you should make a reservation if you can on their website. They squeezed us in for 8:30 and took my number down in case we could come back sooner while we took a stroll in the neighborhood. Great neighborhood, by the way! The host was so nice and said she would do her best to get us a nice table by the window, even though I would have been happy wherever and did not specifically request one. We were very lucky to get a window seat. Since the restaurant is at the top floor of a hotel, the view is spectacular. I also discovered that the room rotates, very slowly, so you get a 360 degree view of the city. Service was top notch. Our waitress was very attentive. We even got to see fireworks outside. The entire meal was delicious, as were the cocktails and dessert. Side note: the cocktails are cheap for us NYC people, and in some instances, cheaper than other non fine dining restaurants we had visited while in town. I highly recommend the wild mushrooms appetizer, halibut main course and the steak. Man, that was a huge steak. Wait time in between courses was rather long, however. Maybe the kitchen needed more time to get the food out or it is normal to sit for 2.5 hours for dinner at this place. We did not mind. So maybe if you are in a rush, let the wait staff know. There is 90 minute free parking up until 10pm available along the park adjacent to the hotel and a huge metered parking lot a few blocks away too. When we return to Quebec City, I will definitely come back here. What an experience.

Yelp
Only 4 stars because we didn't get food only had cocktails. The views are awesome!!! Really cool place!!

Yelp
A rotating restaurant 30 stories up in Quebec City. My husband picked this place out - the video he watched said go for the view, not the food - and my expectations were admittedly a little low in light of that - but I had absolutely no complaints about the food, which was delicious. The service is maybe a touch on the slow side, but I also think they sort of do that on purpose so you can get the entire 360 degree experience. My husband said he's had better steak, but I enjoyed my chicken dish. Their menu changes kinda frequently so I don't remember the exact name. We went for dinner and it was dark, and it was still a great view. I'm sure brunch is even better. The bartender's choice spritz was very good, and pretty strong.

Yelp
Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Quebec City for the first time - great service, tasty food, and amazing view of the city. My friend and I came here for dinner as a spur of the moment after being recommended it by our Airbnb host and luckily were able to walk in without a reservation. We ordered the tagliatelle appetizer, fish of the day (walleye), and butcher's choice (smoked brisket). I def think you can't go wrong with any of the menu items, our food was fresh and delicious, and we completed our meal with a creme brûlée. Ambiance was perfect, def somewhere you can sit and enjoy some wine after the meal as well while watching the view. Overall very reasonably priced meal that was well worth the price - we had 2 drinks, an appetizer, 2 entrees, and a dessert and our bill came back ~$75 each. We had the best time!

Yelp
I was a little nervous that this restaurant would be more touristy and less quality but I was pleasantly surprised! I also was a little nervous about getting dizzy from the revolving aspect but that didn't bother me at all. It was very cool to see the city from above in 360. We were there for an hour and a half and did a full circle around. Our server was great and the food was very good! One of the folks I was with said their hot chocolate was one of the best they've had! I appreciated their gluten free bread option and my guests really enjoyed their mushroom omelette and French toast! Their appetizer and dessert options for brunch are limited.

Yelp
We arrived at 7.30 no rezzie but got a table for two, not a window seat but our table was just as good just a few feet back. We managed an almost complete rotation with 1 cocktail each - a Baie St. Paul for Pablo and a Last Word for me. Both were delicious. We could not resist adding the mushroom / burrata on toast $20 . A small tasty nibble split between us. The food quality was excellent. Service was prompt and efficient. Ambiance is all about the view and it's a 360 corker of the city. Time well spent .

Yelp
Gorgeous views! This restaurant rotates slowly as you eat and you'll rotate 360 degrees by the time you finish eating. Amazing views of the city and Saint Lawrence River. The best sangria I've ever had! So delicious and went down way too smooth. I loved the charcuterie platter too, and our cheese plate. Everything here is very high quality. Excellent and attentive service too. I recommend making a reservation.

Yelp
SO and I stopped here on our 2nd night in QC after reading some favorable yelp reviews.  It's on the top floor of a hotel and rotates slowly providing a great vantage point of QC. As the SO was drinking a Spritz Tropical and me a lager, the fried burgot came out.  We never had them before and thought they were tasty and crispy, but it took a bit of effort to chew them up.  It was still good to experience them for the 1st time! The next appetizer, wild mushrooms with venison, soon followed.  The venison was cooked medium rare and was accompanied by very tasty wild mushrooms all atop a puree (we think it was parsnip) along with shreds of beet.  A very enjoyable dish! We also had a salad comprised of tomato, a dollop of lemon confit labneh, diced cucumber and spiced pecans sprinkled on top all resting in a pool of delicious pikliz emulsion.  Very light and refreshing! SO had the halibut, which was perfectly cooked and well balanced with pickled carrots, oyster mushrooms, kale and turnips along with a tasty turmeric sunflower puree.  A great combination of ingredients! I had the piglet loin accompanied by swiss chard, black beans and zucchini atop a delicious creamy corn and salse verde around the edge...a surprising combo that worked well together! We ended the dinner with a tasty blueberry cheesecake and a glass of ice wine.  A nice 2 hours well spent (which is the maximum time allowed). Overall, the service, food and ambience were excellent, but the menu is a bit limited and the flavor profiles tame.  Definitley good for a one-time dinner just for the views or an extra special night out!

Very good food and very friendly. .. you can enjoy a 360 degree view of Quebec City and Saint Lawrence river

Yelp
I'm a simple guy. If I see a revolving restaurant, I go. No questions asked. Most of the time, the views themself make the trip worth it, but every now and then the food takes center stage. Ciel! is the rare hybrid. The best of both worlds. I was able to sneak a last minute reservation at 6:30 despite it being a holiday. Seems like it was meant to be. Little did I know I was about to embark on an unforgettable journey. My family and I began our voyage with the Beef Tataki, Pork Flank, and Leek and Mushroom Cream Soup. The Beef Tataki was extremely flavorful, with a mix of sour(?) + umami sauces along with perfectly seasoned beef pieces. My only complaint would be that I wanted more. Leek + Mushroom Cream Soup was fairly standard but definitely highlighted the both the leek and mushrooms without masking their individual flavors. Pork Flank is an absolute steal and must get. Not only do you get a perfectly juicy, seared pork belly but also escargot that mesh well with the sauce provided. For the entrees, we got the Alaskan Halibut and Chicken Supreme. Chicken Supreme: THE standard I expect now for any chicken. They have somehow managed to get a crust that is slightly charred without sacrificing any moisture, leading to juicy bites of chicken goodness. Those juices coupled with the bbq sauce. You just have to try it to get what I mean. Alaskan Halibut: nothing extremely special but definitely one of the best halibuts I've ever had. For dessert, we got a latte, crème brûlée, as well as a choco-caramel finger. The crème brûlée was to die for (although in a little biased because it is my favorite dessert haha). Great sugar crust that unveils a creamy, rich crème that coats your mouth in sugary goodness. The choco-caramel finger was a hybrid brownie cake. The mouse paired with a densely packed brownie crust is the perfect way to end a meal! Service was impeccable and our waiter was extremely accommodating. The views here are unparalleled and the place is a good escape from the hustle and bustle from below. Ciel! Is a must go if you come to Quebec City and will be a spot I will cherish from a trip here!

Yelp
Best view, service and decent food. 1. Reservation: a must. You cannot be seated without one and most people reserve 1 month in advance for window seats. 2. The view: amazing. Absolutely THE BEST VIEW of Quebec City. It's rotating, so from your seat you can get 360 view of the entire city. Best to come 2 hour before the sunset. When it gets dark, you can enjoy the view with your eyes if lucky enough to be seated by the window, no picture will look good when the lights are on aka dark outside. 3. Service: great. 5 stars 4. Food: good but not the best. 3 stars Unfortunately, like all similar establishments, their food is good, but not the best. I did like their bread comes hot. venison tartare: meh cheese platter: sad fish of the day: just okay dessert: not good, didn't even eat it 5. Drinks: 4 stars Mixed drinks were good, just not very good. It truly could've been better All in all, especially if you are a tourist, despite not the best food, this place is still the best and a must try.

Yelp
Great view amazing service and delicious food. You have the whole city view. The restaurant make a 360 turn in 1 and half hour. The service is great with friendly crew. The food is real French fish. We tried the eggplant and chicken fish which was amazing .

Yelp
Just an exception evening. The food was worth every penny spent and the wine recommendation was spot on. There is nothing that I can add to all other accolades about the ambiance. You are in a revolving rooftop restaurant in Quebec City. What more do you need to know? Bridgette was superb. Efficient, friendly and helpful. Thank you for the surprise dessert in record our first wedding anniversary!

Jo-Ann R.

Yelp
Beautiful view!! Most horrible food my friend and I have experienced in all our travels. Overpriced and horrible. Stay away.

Yelp

Yelp
If you're a tourist, ciel is a must-try. It's a rotating restaurant, what else can you ask for?? The meal wasn't ridiculously expensive, I thought it was actly a bit of a steal for good food and a 360 view. I got the red wine chicken. The chicken was moist and juicy. I can taste the red wine soaked in. My dad got the piglet loin which he thought was just ok. The sauce could use more flavor. My bf got the piece of steak, he was def still hungry afterwards. I really loved the dessert though. We got cardamom creme brulee and you can taste the cardamom. The service was rly nice tho a tad bit slow. & The restaurant was a bit colder than I would like it to be but overall, still a very impressive meal. I would highly recommend!

Yelp
Many touristy restaurants like this are subpar. The view is spectacular, but the food is just OK. That is not the case here. We went for brunch and enjoyed spectacular food as well as terrific service and ambience. My husband had the steak and eggs and truly enjoyed them. And I had the brunch platter, and was expecting too much food, which I did get. However, the food that I got was incredible. I did not know what creton was, but it was delicious and I spread it over the ciabatta toast and it was delicious. It was a chore to sample everything served to me, but all the flavors were delicious. Even though the restaurant was packed, the service was terrific and, neither of us were anxious to leave at the end of the meal. Two tips: make a reservation well ahead because Ciel fills up and valet parking is available at the Concorde and is the best way to handle your car in this crowded area of the city. We can't wait to get back to Quebec City and Ciel in particular. Nous serons de retour bientôt.

Yelp
Such a cool experience- highly recommend making a reservation if you can! I only ordered apps And dessert but it was perfect to enjoy while rotating over the Quebec City skyline!

Yelp
The view from the rotating top floor is worth going on its own. Reservations are required. The service is top-notch. The menu is very interesting and very limited, like most upper scale restaurants. Very nice wine, bier, and cocktails selection. Appetizers: The cheese tray is good. The wild mushroom dish is good. For the main course: they featured Halibut, char, NY strip steak, chicken, and pork dishes (only one of each) to select from. Each read quite fancy and very much wanting to be gourmet. (Now, a tip: if you grew up thinking chicken and pork should be cooked through (i.e., beyond medium or rare) like we were raised, then suggest avoiding those to be safe. Just a personal preference on our part, not a restaurant critique.) Sadly, they did not have NY strip as per menu and offered a 7 oz flat iron steak instead, so we passed on that as well. The char was interesting. As for the desserts: they had a nice selection, but ... after a very lovely day of walking all around old Quebec and sightseeing, we went with a nice Irish coffee. The nighttime view from the restaurant is truly wwonderful. Quebec Old Town area is a treasure trove and s personal fav. There are many great places to eat in Quebec and so much history to see. Travel, see, eat, love, and enjoy life!

Yelp
This is a must visit if you're not from Quebec. Our group of 7 was visiting from the US and this was one of the best parts of our entire trip. It was very easy to get a reservation online or by calling. When we arrived we were seated at an amazing table by a window so we could enjoy the view. We went at night for the city lights and it was the right move, absolutely stunning! The service was really friendly and fast. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks here very much. I'm celiac and have to eat gluten free, and they were able to accommodate this very easily here. I wish I could remember what the soup was but I had the soup of the day on the menu, and it was so delicious. For my entree I had the beef check and it was one of the best meals I've had. This really was such an amazing part of our trip and I would recommend it to anyone!

Yelp
Food was a bit pricey for then portion served but the service was excellent and the views amazing.

Yelp
Revolving restaurant. Great unique dishes. Skyline views of the plains of abraham and grand allee boulevard. AMAZING LOCATION. I came here with family, friends and with guys. Everytime I enjoyed myself. The experience itself was worth the price of the meal. The meals here were not as expensive as meals I've had in other revolving restaurants in other cities. Most dishes ranged from $20 to $50 for appetizers and main entrees. It wasnt cheap but it was still affordable considering the atmosphere and service. The service was top notch. The servers are friendly and really great at their jobs. I loved the desserts here. Dont miss out on any of them. They are all spectacular and are made in house! I loved the variety of main dishes. There was beef tongue, Alaskan cod, steak, duck and lamb. In quebec there is not many places which offer these dishes or even make them properly. But this restaurant was well worth it. Tip: time your visit for daytime before sunset so you get day and night time views! And check to see if theres anything special going on. You can see the fireworks from here or feq at the plains of abraham!

Yelp
Went here on a beautiful sunny Sunday where skies were clear to get a nice panoramic view of the city. I had no idea the restaurant revolves which is cool so you were able to see all angles. It's a good deal for brunch for what you get. I got the drip coffee which is unlimited refills then for appetizer I got the yogurt with blueberry compote and Canada's maple syrup which actually wasn't too sweet or maybe the dark coffee helped neutralize lol. My fam and I tried the different entrees as pictured which were all good. The only critique i have is the steak not being that tender. The service was also decent being attentative with refilling water/coffee but just took a while with the entrees where we noticed other tables getting their food before us which was fine since we wanted to get the 360 view anyways. I'd recommend trying if you can get a resy. I was lucky to find a slot while we were visiting!

Fishie S.

Yelp
My husband and I had reservations at sunset two weeks ago. We had to see the view in this revolving restaurant on the 28th floor. We had a window table which I requested several weeks in advance when planning our road trip to Quebec. We didn't know the food was going to be so tasty!! It was our wedding anniversary and wow!! Yum! We had Arctic Char, so good. When, we come back to Quebec someday as we are several provinces away, we will definitely come back here!!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely stunning view. The service was a bit slow, but not sure if it was that I'm used to faster American service. Food was decent. Drinks and dessert were good!

Yelp
Excellent view, very good food and service A little long walk to the restaurant from parking.

Yelp
How lucky could we be! Our first night in Quebec and this place was so close to our hotel and so wonderful. The views are amazing and really helped us get a sense of where we were and what was around us. The food and staff were wonderful. I would definitely recommend dinner here.

Yelp
Love this place. The 360 degrees view of Quebec was amazing. Food was great , and portions were big compared with other places. Would definitely come back again.

Yelp
Great place to go for drinks and revolve! You have a great view! The "bar" is a section of tables set aside for people who are having drinks. We saw people order food too. It is not an actual bar you sit at. The bar area of tables is just like the rest of the restaurant and revolves. Drinks are reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Takes over an hour to make a full rotation. The bathrooms are down one flight of stairs. People are dressed casual and semi professionally.

Yelp
I highly recommend that you call to reserve in advance for their weekend brunch or else you won't be able to experience this. We were genuinely surprised by this spot, located at the top floor of a hotel and near the citadelle. They take sanitary measures very seriously and the team of hosts and servers are very professional and nice! Once you are seated at your table, you will notice that the entire restaurant rotates! So you will have turned 360° by the end of your meal for a full view of the entire city of Québec and the St-Lawrence river, how amazing is that!? Their brunch menu is also very generous. You choose your main dish, afterwards you can choose a drink, an entrée and you get dessert (everything is included in the price of the main dish). For 3 people, we paid 76$ which was a great price for the quality of food and the spectacular view that you get. Definitely recommend this place just for the view on a sunny day. Will be back here for supper next time I visit Québec city.

Kay B.

Yelp
The view was breathtaking if you get there 45 min before sunset you get to see the beautiful sunset one of the best steaks I've had in the area! Staff was perfect thank you for a memorable evening

Rick P.

Yelp
Top drawer food and service with stunning views! We've never been hurried or had attitude from staff! Chocolate candy and coffee are always my dessert! Wine and cocktails, too!! Be sure to check ahead and/or reserve a table.

Yelp
TL;DR (or BLUF) version: If you're a family with kids, don't bother. Really really REALLY wanted to like this place, but they wouldn't allow us the opportunity to give them our money. We got here at 9:20am on Saturday, just 20 minutes after the place opened. Needless to say there were PLENTY of tables open, but according to the young hostess, none that could accommodate a party of 6. We asked how long we'd have to wait, and she said it was "impossible". Asked her a few more times and she made it a point to say it was impossible that day without a reservation. I asked if reservations were required, and she said no. We then asked if we could be seated separately at two different tables, but again said it was IMPOSSIBLE and then tried to explain some B.S. excuse about how they only have like 1 table for kids! FOR REAL? Luckily there was a restaurant downstairs, JA-JA, that we ate at instead, so our drive and parking fee wasn't in vain.

Yelp
Decent place, food, service and experience. A bit over-priced but that is to be expected since you're getting the 360-degree rotating view of the city, which was pretty cool. We ordered the 3-cheese plate, which came with focaccia rolls and toasted bread. It included a decent amount of soft goat, sheep and cow cheeses, an onion-apple chutney and nuts. We enjoyed it. Then we ordered the halibut as one main plate, and the vegetarian zucchini dish. The fish dish was moist and well-cooked. But the zucchini dish is why we could not give this place 5-stars. The vegetarian dish consisted of one zucchini. Yes. Just one. Nope. I am not joking. You were given one zucchini for dinner. A few tiny diced cucumber pieces were sprinkled on, and some hummus - but nothing else. So your entire dinner was just one grilled zucchini: highly disappointing to pay that much for one zucchini. They really cant be serious serving that with a straight face. LOL. Unfortunately this is a common issue for vegetarians - nobody seems to know how to make a proper veggie meal. Without meat the chef becomes confused and just give you one piece of vegetable. Kinda sad since the menu said there was both a head chef and sous chef - I would have expected better. However, the view was amazing and we enjoying seeing the 360-degree scenery, the drinks were good, and service was good, and the other two dishes were good. So it made up for the lacks.

Yelp
The view from the tower restaurant is amazing !! 360 degree in few minutes so you get the chance to pass by your favorite spot at least more than once. The food is also really good. Hard to find such a nice combination!

Yelp
We came here for lunch. Made reservation three days in advance. Last time I visited Quebec City I would like to have dinner at Ciel but it was fully reserved. They have inexpensive lunch menu. For 20-25$, you get soup or salad, main course and coffee or tea. Lunch menu dessert is 4$ extra. There are also snack menu. The view was marvellous. Any dish with this view gets a plus star. I had quail and my husband had poached salmon. They were good, nothing spectacular. The desserts we had were éclaire with mango and chocolate. They were tasty and rich. Will recommend it to my friends.

Yelp
This is a great restaurant for first time visitors! With the 360 views of Quebec City, this cant be beat. The service was outstanding and the food was excellent. We ended up coming back the next night for their very delicious dessert since we were staying at the hotel below the restaurant. The restaurant turns much slower than other 360 restaurants I've been to but it's not terrible at all!

Yelp
We had a wonderful evening at Ciel! We felt lucky to get a reservation and although you are asked not to request a window we received one and got to see all of Quebec City sunset to the night light twinkling. The food was delicious we had halibut cooked to perfection! we weren't going to order desert as we were full but "had to" get the cheesecake to share - we were celebrating two birthdays and our wonderful waiter surprised us with the best chocolate mousse cake we've ever had. Highly recommend this restaurant for the view, ambience, service and food.

Yelp
The ambiance was lovely. You are able to see the cityscape of Quebec throughout your evening as the the floor moves slowly. Overall, the food and the service was okay. First, I ordered the soup of the day, which was a mushroom soup, and the seafood plater. Both of them were good but nothing special. For the entree, I ordered the tuna salad. Like the starters, there was nothing special. The tuna that came with it was also a but too fishy for me and was not able to finish it because of it. The chocolate cake (the chocolate), on the other hand, is really good. The coffee filling in the middle is a great touch! The waiting staff was okay. I had an empty glass of water for at least 10 minutes and he only realized it when I asked him for a refill. The time between each dish was a bit longer that I would have liked. The waiter was not the friendliest. Overall, the experience was good. I think I will come again for the view and for a glass of wine with a shareable dish with my friends or family. I don't think it is a place I would eat dinner again. Side note: The staff speak both English and French. I did not have any problem talking to the staff

Yelp
View 5/5 Service 3/5 Food 2/5 Price way too expensive When we first arrived, it took about 5 minutes for the reception desk lady to answer us as the group of 7 I was in was already seated and she only had to tell us to go and we would have find them faster. Our reservation was at 7h30pm and we had a seven and a five year old with us that were starving. It took more than an hour to receive our main dishes and the kid's dishes. They could have served the kids first. Food was below par. I had the Organic chicken ballotine, roasted potatoes and carrots, French green beans, lemon and tarragon sauce. Carrots were impossible to eat as they were harder than wood, sauce was very oily and chicken was dry. My husband had Carrot ravioli with leek, spinach and parsnips in a mushroom and miso jus. He only had 3 big raviolis at the bottom of his plate topped with a bunch of very hard (not al dente) vegetables. My niece had the raviolis as well and the plates didn't even look the same. Deserts were good though. Prices were outrageous versus the quality of the food. View was outstanding. This was our first and last time, we will never go back, very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Yelp
Celebrated my boyfriend's birthday at this restaurant last summer. I reserved a table next to the window. When we arrived, the waitress come quickly to give us the menu and was very helpful to explain the menu to us, give us recommendations for food and wine. She explain to us in French and in English which I really appreciate. Top notch customer service! We ordered the mushroom appetizer plate, the lamb dish and the fish of the day dish to share. Loved the delicious tasty juicy mushrooms and the tender lamb that melted in your mouth. The fish of the day was great but we were not amazed by it. Our dessert was also very delicious but also very sweet. We ordered 2 glasses of wine. One red and one white. Both recommended from our waitress according to our meals choice. I really enjoyed it. The view was stunning. I reserved a table at the appropriate time so we could see the sunset. Beautiful scenery. Very romantic evening. Thank you to our waitress and the kitchen workers for this amazing birthday dinner. We left very happy :) Would come back anytime ~

Yelp
Panoramic views of Quebec City from the sky! This is a revolving restaurant that turns little by little while you are dining and it takes 90 minutes to do a full turn. Fun thing to do to get an overview perspective of the city and fill in the gaps. Nice views of the river and you get a different kind of view of Hotel Frontenac which you would otherwise not see from the street. The bar is at the 27th floor. Some of the windows need a bit of a clean from smudges so you can get clear views. One section is for people who just want drinks, snacks and dessert and the other side is for those who want to eat. Ciel bistro bar is at the top of Hotel Concorde, so expect hotel bar prices which I think is reasonable enough given the concept of the bar. You go for the views experience. We had coffee and cocktails and a blueberry lemon cream pie. Everything was good.

Yelp
The views that this restaurant provides is rare. You get to the chance to wine and dine while overlooking the city of Québec. The neat factor of this restaurant is that it is revolving 360 degrees so you get to take in every angle and view of Québec while you enjoy your meal. The service was good - everything was served in a timely manner and our waiter did their best english which we highly appreciated since my best friend and I do not speak French. The food was absolutely delicious and I would go back again - I also highly recommend making a reservation which can be easily booked online

Yelp
We received old friends from oversea, so we naturally decided to go to Ciel! What better place to appreciate the beauty of Quebec City? Today was a clear, sunny day. People outside were enjoying walks through the parks and the river was teeming with sailboats and other watercraft. The view was great, as usual. The food came fast and the staff was great. Our waitress was helpful and patient with our foreign friends and amiably offered to take pictures for us - twice. We had brunch, and although the menu didn't change since last time, we had a good meal. (to be honest, even the first time the main courses of the brunch menu felt a bit repetitive, i.e. egg, potato, egg, potato). A few details changed. The bowl of fruits contained raspberries (local, seasonal produce?) instead of pineapple. The smoothie of the day was a blend of raspberries and peach. I think I discovered something new today. The old restaurant used to have scenic elevators; these were not present anymore after Ciel! opened. However, when we stepped into the elevator to leave today, I saw from the corner of my eye a third elevator close to the wine cellar with the sign "scenic elevator". I guess they kept one!
