The best thing in Ragusa Ibla! We went on a tour and this was the last part. We learnt all about the traditional Sicilian carts, how they are painted and the workshop’s connection to Dolce and Gabbana! Can’t recommend enough, a must visit if you like art, history and culture.

Visit this unique workshop as part of the tour available at the Circolo di Conversazione in Ragusa Ibla. If you have any interest in Sicilian craftsmanship (or Dolce and Gabbana!), you will thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to meet and talk with these artists. Their knowledge and generosity made the visit unforgettable.

Very nice experience, a Must do if visiting Ragusa. The atmosphere Is unique and authentique, and the 2 guyes so enthusiastic in explaining the story of the carretto siciliano. Definitly, I learnt a lot about this tradition that, helas, nobody today wants to carry on.....

If you are interested in Sicilian culture, this is a must do! We arranged for a tour and loved every minute. You can see the enthusiasm and love for what they do, making it even more special. It was fascinating to learn about the techniques and see the machines they use. Do not miss this experience!

One of the most interesting places I have visited in Sicily. The tradition of cart making should be kept and encouraged, as it is something unique, which helps a lot in maintaining and passing on the identity of the Sicilian people. Lots of love and best wishes from a Romanian artist! 🍀🙏❤️🇮🇹
