CinCin Ristorante + Bar

The beef carpaccio is, and always has been, my favorite dish here. It's impeccable —it's perfectly seasoned and one of the best I've had anywhere. It's a must-order every single time. The ambiance is still wonderful and the bar program is top-notch. However, I was a little let down by my main course this time, as it didn't taste as good as it did many years ago. Based on this visit, I'd suggest focusing on the appetizer menu and their great drink selection for a perfect lighter visit.

Honestly, probably my favourite Italian restaurant in Vancouver so far! We came here to celebrate our anniversary, and everything just hit the right notes. The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere felt cozy yet lively. It definitely gets loud once the restaurant fills up, but you can still have a proper conversation. The menu has a great variety of options, and their wine list is extensive (lots of interesting bottles to choose from). The food was delicious across the board, but the tomato salad and the lamb chops were the real standouts for us. All in all, it was a lovely dining experience. Great food, great vibe, and great service. We’ll definitely be coming back soon.

Amazing Italian dinner spot. Food was great, service was great, atmosphere was good but very loud and busy (might not recommend for a someone looking for a more intimate vibe). The bolognese pasta was to die for. We got the special steak which fed 3 people and had the best potato’s and chimchurri sauce on the side. My favorite part was the dessert. The lava cake was cooked to perfection and the pavlova melted in your mouth.

So damn good. All the dishes were very good. Service was excellent. Well priced and great atmosphere. I will come back. My favourite restaurant I’ve been to all year. 😀 Update: Went 2nd time in Nov 2025 for a birthday. Great again!

Our server was extremely professional, friendly, and helpful! Fast service and the great interior made this a nice spot to have a long conversation. My tagliatelle wasn’t something extremely special, but the meat sauce and fresh pasta were good. The pesto gnocchi was quite soft and almost squishy, it wasn’t completely to my liking.

Exceptional! I attended the recent farm to table dinner at CinCin and was impressed by both the food and the generosity of the event. Many of the farmers attended and generously shared both their bounty and their experiences working to bring fresh, high quality ingredients to local restaurants. The chefs were generous with their talent and creativity, making those ingredients shine in all six dishes, each of which was absolutely delicious. The staff was gracious and warm in a way that made me feel like I was a guest rather than just a customer. Even the wine flowed generously! I'd never been to CinCin before, but I can't wait to go back to sample the regular menu. This place is a gem!

Amazing Mother’s Day Dinner at Cin Cin on Robson in Vancouver. Been coming here for decades but hadn’t been in a while. Food is better than it’s ever been. We had the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, Butternut Squash Soup, Fennel Soup, Linguine ai Frutti di Mare, Tagliatelle Al Ragu Bolognese, Lamb Rack, Molten Chocolate Cake & Sicilian Cannoli. The Fennel Amuse Bouche was so good I ordered an appetizer serving as well. Everything was amazing including the excellent service and ambiance across the board. Will definitely be back! We decided last-minute to have Italian food and were able to get a reservation for the evening at lunchtime. I ordered a cocktail — very tasty, though I forgot the name 😭 something like “Bangkok …”. For appetizers, we had the tuna and the grilled octopus. The octopus was incredible — so tender and flavorful, paired beautifully with the salami. For mains, we ordered the risotto and the rack of lamb. No exaggeration — the rack of lamb was the most tender I’ve ever had in my life. The risotto was a little on the salty side. For dessert, we chose the tiramisu. Compared with the other dishes, it was fairly standard, but I appreciated that it wasn’t sweet at all — which I liked. If the mascarpone had been a bit creamier, I would have enjoyed it even more. Service was excellent — no complaints at all.

Popular with locals and tourists, frequenting the Robson Street shopping district, CinCin offers consistent value, ambiance and hospitality. Having dined there for many years I can say they continue to offer a good selection of traditional Italian cuisine. Reservations are easy via online booking, parking isn't too challenging - most would be walking as this is a main tourist location. We were warmly greeted and offered a choice of heated patio or dining room seating. Our server was great, he was just attentive enough to keep us happy without being annoying. Nice touch - you are offered focaccia and bread with olive tapenade. Very good selection of starters, pasta and mains. I had the chicken and my companion had Branzino- both great and accompanied with vegetables and starch/potatoes. We couldn't resist dessert, sharing tiramisu and gelato with perfectly prepared Americano. All in our meal felt well paced at 2.5 hours. Unlike some downtown restaurants- they didn't limit our time to 1.5 or 2 hour maximum to turn over the table. Including tip, bottled water, dessert and mains we were all in at just over $200.

We've heard of rave reviews of this resto and finally made it end of May 2024. We were a party of 7 and we were able to try a lot of food. Lighting is darker giving the atmosphere a romantic feel. Wall paint is ambers in hue against tan leathered seats which is quite typical of old Italian classic look. Our server is very friendly and efficient, changing plates along the way. Food is amazing, prepared and presented excellently. I have to say that the Veal Osso Bucco was the winner of the night and the best I've ever tasted. ABSOLUTELY love it! A must have for sure. Will go back for it.

Pricey ok kinds, good ambience and service but found food to be too bland, expected Italian restaurant with more flavor. Appetizer wood grilled romaine heart with smoked salmon was very good. Not much choice of items. Main entree - Ross down farm chicken with summer truffle was very plain and boring. Maybe ordered the wrong and least flavorful item.

Came here for dinner and service was good but also a bit over the top (overly polite so it didn't feel quite real). The gnocchi was very bland and boring. The veal was good. The Parmesan soufflé was excellent!

I haven't been here in years. It was pretty good from what I remember . There have been so many Italian restaurant that have opened up since. This is a classic restaurant.

I was visiting on vacation with my partner. This is a great Italian restaurant in this area, there were so many to choose from but I am happy we chose to come here. The service was excellent and probably the best I have ever had! The food was delicious and the waiter was attentive to my dietary restrictions. It was very busy so make sure to make a reservation ahead! I loved the cozy atmosphere where we were seated but can be loud elsewhere.

We felt like we were back in Italy! Really beautiful restaurant ...only downside was climbing two flights of stairs to get to it. Our server was full of personality and made dinner enjoyable. The decor is absolutely beautiful! It's a brief menu. Wife settled on the lasagna that came with an arugula salad. The bread/foccocia was really good and served with a pesto of olives, garlic and oil. I got the Dungeness crab with jalapeño foam and linguini. It was delicious...kinda small portion but good. Wife's lasagna was delicious served in a personal sized cast iron skillet. It would have been nice to have included a salad with my meal. Good choice in downtown Vancouver!

Cincin is a cute Fine dine Italian restaurant . Ambiance is great and the customer service is excellent.Food tasted really good and came fairly quick.We tried everything our server recommended and turned out to be a great experience.

We happened to be in town for Dine Out Vancouver. The menu here looked good and it was close to our hotel, so we decided to come. The interior was very well decorated and they get bonus points for having a heated terrace! The staff were nice as well. The food was very good, but they definitely put their own spin on traditional Italian dishes (e.g., hummus on bruschetta). One minor negative (aside from hummus bruschetta at an Italian restaurant) was that our server didn't ask if we wanted any espresso with or after our dessert. Not a deal breaker, but it would've been nice.

@dineoutvanfest #2 at @cincinristorante for $55. Appetizers: * mushroksoup was creamy and I quite enjoyed it! The only thing I would knick pick on is that it's a little on the liquidy side & tasted a little too earthy. Overall, not bad! * Bruschetta: bread was perfectly toasted and the shrimp was cooked just right, but overall felt slightly plain. Entrees: * Brasaro al Barolo was very tender and paired perfectly with the mash! * Risotto was my least favourite dish of the night. I understand each restaurant makes their risotto different, but this plate just wasn't it. Risotto can have both a soft or harder texture, but the "harder" texture should be closer to al dente. This rice was straight up hard and tasted uncooked. The flavour was desirable. Dessert: * the vanilla panna cotta was arguably the best part of the entire meal. It had a strong vanilla aroma, but not overly sweet. The pear was a good balance & paired super well. Complementary madeleine & fruit jellies were included after the bill! Our waiter was attentive and kind, which added bonus points to the overall dining experience. Ambiance: I personally felt a little suffocated because there were two tables sitting wash too closely to us and jr was a bustling restaurant. Overall, I would love to come back and try their regular menu items! I believe that this dine out menu was just a miss this one time.

Overall enjoyed the experience. Expensive joint. Don't think it was worth that much so took one star away. Great service.

Had a wonderful overall dining experience at Cin in. The atmosphere, quality of our meals, and as importantly, the service was excellent. My last visit was 20 yrs ago and I regret not visiting this wonderful restaurant more frequently. I will definitely not wait that long again and definitely recommend CinCin for a wonderful dining experience.

I had the opportunity to go here to celebrate a birthday, this is my first time coming to this restaurant and I have to say the service was impeccable. Even though it's situated on busy Robson Street and on the second floor it's ample busy inside the restaurant. We were created probably by two hostess at the door and let her a table right away as we had a reservation. We ordered two appetizers to start the Humboldt squid as well as the seafood salad. The squid was amazing highly recommend to order it, it's crispy on the outside but tender and moist on the inside. The seafood salad was done well, as in general I find the acid pickles the seafood and turns it rubbery. It was the not case here. We also ordered an appetizer size bolognese, to try it out. Unfortunately I think this was the most underwhelming dish of the evening. While every aspect was executed well there was simply lacking flavour that I would expect from a Bolognese that's cooked for hours. For me and we ordered the sable fish entrée as well as the osso bucco. The sable fish was truly the star of the night it was fatty Diskin was crispy I can easily eat two entrées of this by myself. In contrast the osso bucco was lacking in flavour. It was fall off the bone tender but if I closed my eyes it could either be braised pork or chicken. With food aside our server made up for everything, it was the best service I've had in a long time since Covid. After reflecting about their osso Buco the manager dropped by our table and checked up on us. We also got a complimentary dessert as we are celebrating a birthday. All in all it was a great evening and I'm looking forward to going back and trying other dishes but definitely will order the Humboldt squid and the sable Fish again for sure.

The first time I came to CinCin was back in 1994, so after almost 30 years, I came back for visit number 2 and wow, I won't wait another 30 years for visit number 3. Back in the day, CinCin was the hotspot and while the restaurant scene has really grown and evolved, CinCin still maintains an upscale ambience, excellent food, a stellar wine list, and wonderful service. We started with the grilled romaine with smoked salmon, cast iron grilled humboldt flying squid, and a smoked burrata. Wile the grilled romaine was a solid starter, the grilled squid was so flavorful and tender and the smoked burrata was amazing. We ordered filet, chicken, scallops and lamb, and all were perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed the chicken, as it was served with some really good gnocchi. The filet was super tender, as was the lamb which was also not gamey at all. The wine list has won awards, and for good reason as it has pages of wines with a strong focus on Italians. Our server suggested a really great bottle of white from Langhe, which was reasonably priced, but the sky is the limit here. And speaking of server, Robert is amazing - loved the fact that he really wanted us to enjoy the evening without rushing and just a total gentleman and old school server that you don't see too often these days. He started at CinCin in 1991 and has been for most of the time since then. So after being in business for over 40 decades, CinCin still excels and continues to be one of the top restaurnants that defines the Vancouver dining scene.

I was so looking forward to an evening at CinCin when we were invited there for a birthday party last September. Have heard about this Vancouver classic for years but never been. However, when we arrived, we discovered the many steep stairs to get in. As my husband is disabled, we had to leave as there is no elevator Just be aware of this if you're planning a visit to this well respected Vancouver restaurant

Food was delicious! I was surprised at the quality. I had a half portion and it was just enough for me during that time. Service was great and Attentive will come back

Well worth the reputation for fine dining and upscale ambiance. Every course was superior to what you'd find at any other Vancouver restaurant - from the bread, to the pasta, to the drinks, to the meat. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Definitely more popular with the older millennials, not so much hyped up among the younger crowds, given its understated decor, wine pairings, and classic Italian food. Service is excellent as well.

Amazing authentic Italian food. Loved the mushroom gnocchi and the butternut squash ravioli. Very fresh and made to order.

"Thank you to everyone who made our Board Dinner a tremendous success! I am very grateful. We will definitely return." The food was beyond spectacular and the service as always, excellent. Our dinner was held in the wine room, which has a warm and rustic ambiance.

We sat on their beautiful patio last week on a Wednesday night. The service, as always was excellent, as was the food and cocktails. Ah, the cocktails! I really missed the cocktail bar at CinCin the past year! Always excellent, and they didn't disappoint. Their Yamabushi (a margarita made with yuzu) was absolutely delicious. I had two, because I just couldn't resist! We had spot prawns to start. They were fabulous and perfectly cooked. The burrata was good - nothing spectacular but more or less what I was expecting. I had the scallops for my main - wow, that was really delicious. Everything on my plate was perfect and complimented each other perfectly. My partner had the branzino. I normally don't care for branzino, but this was REALLY good. Wow. Dessert: the tiramisu was a bland, disappointing mousse cake. Took two bites and gave up. Not tiramisu. The Panna cotta was also bland, but at least it was what I was expecting. Perhaps they let their pastry chef go during COVID? They used to have reliably delicious desserts - and I'm not a big dessert person. Overall, a fantastic meal, and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

A disaster. Ticket number 4744. The carpaccio was great, the wine was ok. My wife's Caesar salad was dry, hardly any dressing or flavour, so it was half eaten. I ordered the cassa pasta dish. The sauce was excellent, the pasta not so much. I know el dente, the was undercooked and inedible. I explained the problem so they brought me another pasta, this too was undercooked. They asked what I wanted and as a joke I said the sauce and bread. They delivered a bowl of sauce and bread, I was hungry, so I ate it. My brother ordered the truffle lasagne, he too could not eat it. This place used to be wonderful, but sadly this is no longer the case. How is it possible that an Italian restaurant does not know how to cook pasta?

Was pretty good but expected a tad better. Service was lovely, never ending bread basket is nice, as is the olive tapenade if you like olives. Three days a week they serve a 3-course meal which is good value for $49. We had to get the burrata from Puglia. With the beets it was divine! The mushroom soup was so so. Caesar salad was good as was the carpaccio. The risotto was excellent, the tenderloin was alright, the veggies and mashed potato accompaniment was good. We had tiramisu, gelato and sorbet for dessert, all OK nothing special. The tiramisu felt like it was lacking liquor. So, just a four star fine dining experience this time.

Delicious bread with green olive tapenade, fabulous starter soufflé, great gnocchi and delicious osso bucco. (Brought home our excess food and can't wait to have another meal of osso bucco!) Our waiter was great, very attentive and friendly. Lovely spot we were in - the entrance stairway could have more lighting though.

Mannn its been too long since i have wanted to come here and finally i had the chance to. Everytime i wanna come here, everyone already come here so never the had the chance to but anyway finally came and tried its carbonara and tiramisu. The squid pasta was superb in my opinion and the carbonara zeffirelli for sure did it better. Nonetheless, the pancetta was just cooked to perfection even though it is not guanciale. Guanciale is the real king of carbonara. But anyway the tiramisu farigna a legna did it much better but it was still good. The focaccia and the other bread with its spread was fantastic as well. Cincin is definitely a comfort italian food in town. Totally recommended and would come back again!

Very pleasant dining experience. The food was exceptional and well presented. Our waiter was on point with a balance of being attentive and yet not intrusive. We will be dining here again on our next visit to Vancouver.

We came here on the last day for their 30th Anniversary price fixed $30 menu. The meal started off with bread which included whole wheat and garlic bread with an olive oil/olives for dipping. Not being a fan of olives, I wished there was also butter for the bread. Then for the rest of the course, it started with an amuse bouche soup was was rich but tasty. We both got prawns for the appetizer and they were cooked perfectly. They were a bit hard to get off the stick which was a very minor complaint. For the mains we got the Arctic char and the sirloin beef. They didn't end up giving us a steak knife so the beef was a bit hard/ messy to cut but it was very soft. The Arctic char was not bad and did wish it had a bit more flavour. No complaints at all about the desserts which included the pan a cotta and the Italian doughnuts. In particular, I was a big fan of the pumpkin seed brittle that was served with the panna cotta. The price fixed menu was a good deal for Cin Cin and would recommend!

Wednesday was my first time at CinCin and I was blown away! Perhaps because it was a weeknight or because they've only recently re-opened after shutting down dine-in services due to COVID-19, but I got the entire back half of the restaurant all to myself! From my table, I had a vantage point of basically the entire restaurant, including the kitchen, so I really got to soak in the ambiance. Service was excellent; the staff were super attentive and, at the same time, I never felt rushed. The food was incredible. Given CinCin's location and the amount of food on each plate, I would say everything here was quite affordable! My table ordered the zucchini blossom fritti, beet salad, and crispy fried Humboldt squid appetizers; as well as the tortellini and scallop linguine pomodoro for main courses and tiramisu and chocolate torte for dessert. Out of the three appetizers, the beet salad was definitely my favourite. The dish was so visually stunning with the two types of beets (golden and chioggia), topped with greens and edible flowers and dotted with morsels of whipped ricotta and pistachios; and it tasted as amazing as it looked. The orange vinaigrette added an extra punch of freshness, without overpowering the dish. I could eat that salad again and again all summer! Both the main dishes were exceptional. I have no criticism on the food itself, but I will say that when compared to the size of the appetizers and desserts, the pasta portions were a slight letdown. The large size of the tortellini cost me $29 and there were seven on the plate. One or two more would have been nice. Honestly though, I'm nitpicking here. Desserts were huge...I'm pretty sure the tiramisu was equivalent to the size of my head! The layers of coffee mascarpone were super thick, which meant I had a caffeine buzz that lasted well into the night (as a post-secondary student, I'm used to late nights studying or working on assignments, so being wide awake past 2 am didn't bother me). If you're a chocolate lover, you definitely need to have CinCin's chocolate torte. The outside was crunchy, reminiscent of a Haagen Dazs bar, while the mousse-like texture on the inside made for a decadent mouthful of chocolatey goodness. All the accompaniments, particularly the salted caramel ice cream, helped cut through the richness of the torte. I was super impressed! My time at CinCin felt extremely special. Who knew fine dining experiences could be elevated even more during a pandemic!

We had to come here to celebrate Father's Day and let's just say it did not disappoint. I love coming here and it is the perfect place to celebrate any occasion. On Sunday they had a fixed trio course menu so we had to try that plus some staple item. * Trio menu ($49) ~ it came with a nice selection of a variety from the menu! * Wood grilled Prawn salad ~ this was amazing, came with 3 over made prawns on a bed of salad with a nice light sauce. The prawn was super flavourful. * Roasted bc halibut ~ the halibut was perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. It was super soft and tender. Juicy too! On a nice bed of citrus risotto. * Zeppole ~ 3 fresh made Italian donuts were so bomb especially since they were hot and had a nice thick chocolate sauce to pair with it. * 20oz blue dot ($90) ~ medium rare, perfectly cooked. Seasoned beautifully and the meat just truly melts in your mouth! Each piece was super tender too, and they even have a sauce on the side to add to the steak but it was so flavourful the sauce wasn't even needed! * Beef carpaccio ($21) ~ the truffle in this was spectacular! It was such and so good! The beef was nice and warm and the Parmesan and truffle was no joke! The flavours were delicious! * Carnaroli risotto ($18) ~ rich and oh so good! The truffle was Parmesan was super rich in this. Perfect dish to pair with the steak! Perfectly cooked and creamy! Perfect amount of mushrooms too! * Botanist gin ($9.50) ~ tonic water (+$1) it was so good this gin is on the stronger side and has a lot more flavour to it. It was really rich and really helped me cut the richness from some dishes! * Also had aviation gin ($9), Bellini ($15). * 10/10 ~ no dish was terrible it was all super delicious and perfect as usual! * 8/10 ~ honestly we ate a lot and were all full (3 people). Portions were decent perfect for sharing! Total bill before tip: $224.48. * 10/10 ~ social distanced, hand sanitizer, online menu. * ‍ 6/10 ~ The service however was a bit underwhelming which was surprising as it's always good service. The waiter literally was very sarcastic and overall not very tentative. * swipe of the menu we had that day!

Cincin has been around for years and delivers solid Italian fare everytime we've come. And service is always great, to be expected from a high end restaurant. We choose them for a recent date night. I started off with a pretty stiff drink (think it was the Godfather with scotch with amaretto). Loved the drink! Our appetizers: The burrata beet salad with pistachio was my favorite starter. I could taste the pistachio flavors, which are usually too subtle for me to notice in dishes. It went well with the burrata and beets. We also had the beef tartare starter but that was less memorable. Pasta: We ordered a small-sized ricotta gnocchi with mushrooms and truffles (you can order an entree size for $28 instead of $18). Excellent flavors and felt it complemented our entree, the veal osso bucco, well. Entree: The veal osso bucco was very nice and tender. It came with risotto that was a tad mushier than I would've liked. Along with the mushy fall-off-the-bone veal, the dish needed some contrasting textures. We got that by eating it with the gnocchi. Dessert: The black forest cake didn't wow us but it was OK; was not too sweet and was a nice, light finish to our meal. The server heard us talking about our anniversary and surprised us with 2 truffles and macarons on the side and Happy Anniversary written on our plate. I thought that was very sweet and attentive of them!

My friend and I ate here last night, for the first time in years and years. We had an enjoyable evening, the food was good, and the service was attentive and friendly. I only hesitate to give it five stars because for five it would need a little extra flourish. I started with a fabulous cocktail, the Lampone Francese, which arrive just before the bread. The bread was delicious! House made, fresh and warm. We shared the salumi misti as an appetizer, and I had no complaints there, apart from there being only one piece of bread. Perhaps it's not meant as a plate to be shared though. My scallop entree was the highlight of the meal for me. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavours were delicious. My friend had the branzino, which she said was fine, but not excellent - but that was more her taste than the way it was prepared. We both had the panna cotta for dessert, which was a great choice. So delicious! And we finished the meal with the little treats they bring with the bill. It was a lovely evening, with great service. Nothing really wowed us, but that is ok, I don't need to be wowed all the time. I will be back!

The food sooooo good and a fantastic restaurant It's also super fast to get your food out. A over all great Restaurant with really clean bathrooms and amazing waters and waitresses it's just so good and fancy

Our dining experience was perfect and your staff were outstanding. I can't remember the last time, if ever, such attention was paid to us: from the moment we walked up the stairs to the multiple thanks you's and goodbyes as we walked back down, we felt cared for and welcome. Thank you so much!

Enjoyed a lovely dinner with my girlfriends on a Saturday night for my birthday. Although it was during Dine Out, we chose to order a la carte. We got a variety of dishes: * Golden Eagle Sablefish * Fraser Valley Duck with Red Wine Jus * Beef Tartare with Smoked Mayonnaise * Tagliatelle al Ragù - 6 hour Bolognese * Wood Grilled Sea Scallops with Acquerello Risotto * Charred BC Octopus * Linguine Pomodoro with Wild Caught Blue Shrimp * Whole Branzino with Grilled Lemon * Tiramisu * House Churned Gelato and Sorbet Everything was super delicious. Majority of us just shared everything so we were able to try it all! My favourites were the sablefish, duck, and ragù. The service was great and they have an amazing wine list! It was a really lovely evening.

Tasty Italian, great ambience, high quality service. Ambience is classy, good for date or families that enjoy conversations. Second floor in Robson gives enough separation from busy street downstairs. Terrace option although we opted for inside table. Service was high quality, from kind greeters to our server and runners. Our server had specific knowledge of the menu and provided good recommendations without being intrusive. On to the food. Appetizer was parmesan soufflé, texture was perfect: fluffy and well cooked, fantastic taste. Bread selection includes multi grain, white, black. Olive dip with olive oil was a great start. Main dishes: pomodoro linguine with Shrimp, perfectly seasoned shrimp well incorporated tomato sauce. Gnocchi with mushroom and topped with generous black truffle. Ravioli with squash, some sweet potato taste there, which was unexpected. For drinks we had La.Conquistadora, which is made with Peruvian Pisco w lemoncello, gin w tonic, glass of Montepulciano and glass of Montalcino. Non alcoholic drinks and cocktails also offered. Dessert was a great finish! Tiramisu w bed of Rum, Panacotta w perfect texture and peach Tart.

LOVE! I have to tell you this meal I had here was so good & I'm that big of a fan of gnocchi. But, I literally wanted to lick the rest of the sauce off the plate. I'm a little bummed that I couldn't go back there again...like tonight but I''m home now and that would be a really expensive Postmates. ricotta gnocchi - rosemary cream, mixed wild mushrooms and summer truffles

For the overall experience, the service was ecxeptional. However, when you're having about $250 worth italian dinner, you expect to have one of the best. Except the pappardelle con porcini, the rest of the food was preety average. Cocktails were outstanding though! I would definitely go again for more drinks !

We were seated in the indoor, and we had a nice view of the massive kitchen and its wood-fired oven. We were served with a complimentary Roasted Garlic Rosemary Bread. It was warm and delicious. The cuisine of Italy has many unique dishes and foods. We were pleased with their menu as CinCin has a unique twist on many Italian favourites. The menu get changed often with seasonal items. A steep winding stone stairway on Robson Street leads diners up to one of the modern and famous Italian restaurants in Vancouver. The last time I came here was when I lived in downtown Vancouver more than 9 years ago.....and so glad to see that it's still here as I just never got to come here often enough. The location of this place is rather inconspicuous as all you have to go by is a small sign down at the street level, then having to go up the stairs....BUT, once you're inside, what a totally unexpected and pleasant surprise to find a buzzing upscale casual Ristorante and Bar. We were met and greeted by a couple of hosts at the door, but unfortunately, were told that there were no tables available and that we were more than welcome to sit at the bar.....which we did. The bartenders were just as nice and friendly and made us feel so welcomed.....the nice young lady attending to us (Lisa?) was so friendly and helped us out with what wines and cocktails to order, as well as gave some suggestions on the menu items and specials......and even came all the way out from the bar to speak to us about it personally.....very nice! My father's favorite Italian dish is the Linguine Vongole with Manila Clams...perfect!.....so that's what he ordered. As for me, I thought I'd try something totally different from what I normally ordered, and the Albacore Tuna (from the wood fired grill) ....cooked with basil and olive oil, gigante beans, spinach and Sicilian olives....sounded pretty different and yummy, so that's what I ordered. Our server recommended the special side of the evening.....the Brussel sprouts....so we gave that a shot and ordered it too. Service was quite fast as everything arrived in a timely manner, despite how busy the restaurant was. My father really enjoyed his Linguine....I took a bite of it too and it was very good....the pasta perfectly cooked and had great flavors. Since my father's a small eater, we were glad we were offered the option of ordering the half portion. My albacore tuna ....seared like.....tasted so fresh..... the sauce and perfectly cooked beans gave it a mild, but very delicious flavor to complement the generous slices of tuna.....I enjoyed it very much.....and it went very well with a nice glass of house red wine. Everything went very well.... Excellent service, good food, very nice ambiance......enjoyed!

The bf and I came here a few weeks ago in celebration of my birthday, which was 3 weeks away from when we had actually dined here. I had made the reservation through Open Table and I had also made a note that it was my birthday, which had apparently prompted their staff to write me a handwritten note. A very nice touch, and a bit unexpected! After reviewing their menu, I opted to get their smoked onion soup as my starter, and the rigatoni with pistou. The bf got the squid as his starter, and the halibut as his main. We both got glasses of locally produced white wine to accompany our meals as well. I thought my soup was one of the best dishes I've had this year. It was so well made and wonderfully flavored, without being overly salty or overseasoned. It was just perfectly balanced (take that, Thanos). My pasta was also well made, with it being cooked al dente, just as I like it. The bf enjoyed both of his dishes as well. For dessert, I got their caramelia mousse, and the bf got their black forest sponge cake. The staff also gave me a surprise birthday mini dessert gift from the kitchen, which consisted of two macarons and two truffles for us to share. Our desserts werre also exquisite, as were the little birthday gifts. The service was impeccable, with our server being very attentive to our needs. The restaurant, while large, is also laid out in a way where it is intimate enough to go on a romantic date, while also being open enough to host larger parties for birthdays or graduations or such. All in all, we had a fantastic evening here, and I was glad that Yelp had managed to guide me in the right direction in finding a place to have my birthday dinner at.

Last night we celebrated a birthday dinner with a party of 8, the room is beautiful and our service was great, the food we found to be just ok, prices are fairly high for your main course but that is to be expected, the part I didn't like is gif some reason, they can't break ip the bill of 850 dollars . They want it paid by 1 person and then everyone is expected to etransfer to the person who paid. I have never experienced this at any other restaurant and when you have a senior trying to figure out how to send money, it's s aggravation we don't need. I feel if a pub that you go to can easily divide a bill why can't a fine dining restaurant? This is why my rate of this restaurant to be low.

We had a fantastic dinner, everything looked and tasted great. My first time back to CinCin in years. It may go on our regular dining list. Thanks so much CinCin.

Great feeling walking in. Beautiful and calm. Our server Chris was amazing, kind, and attentive. Started off with the Winter Squash and Mascarpone Ravioli and it was delicious. I had the steak and mom had the chicken. Both dishes exceeded expectation. Truly an amazing experience from start to finish.

Cincin went above and beyond for Sheepie's birthday. The manager(?) came by with a handwritten birthday card and later on surprised us with a candle and treats! I had the 3 course meal for $49 (prawn salad, trout and vanilla Panna cotta). Great food, atmosphere and excellent service - very attentive! Thank you Cincin!

A Mother's Day first for me. I ordered the Osso-buco ... it was perfectly seasoned and fall-off-the-bone tender. It was accompanied by a generous serving of risotto. One thing that is always a must try for me when dining at Italian restaurants is their Tiramasu. Hands down the best I've ever tasted. Service was spot on. The restaurant was very well set up and spotlessly maintained. Staff were friendly and attentive. I had a fantastic time

Delicious! We celebrated a birthday few weeks ago at CinCin. From our wonderful server to our meal, everything tasted good, and came out at the perfect temperature. A prix fixe menu is available on certain nights of the week. One person in our party opted for this, while the rest of us shared the parmesan soufflé (my fave) and beef carpaccio, lamb racks and ribeye. The meats were cooked perfectly and tender to the bite. For someone typically more sensitive to overseasoning, I thought CinCin did a stellar job. Overall I liked the appies the most, and would return for a satisfying uncomplicated meal again.

The lamb was cooked perfectly. Even vetter than un burdock and co. The service was great. Food was very good, ambiant is relaxing. Really thing that this is great for the proces they charge. Slightly more than cactus or keg but MUCH better

We came to CinCin for NYE dinner and ordered the set menu. The ambience is a little like being transported to the eighties, with walls sponge-painted to look like a Tuscan fresco and unobtrusive but persistent lounge music in the background. Appetizers: Parmesan soufflé was wonderful, as other reviewers have concluded. Delicious cheesy cloud. Squid appetizer was overcooked and under seasoned, kind of charred and bitter. I was a little surprised the server did not inquire when it was left largely untouched. Pasta: rigatoni with ragù was quite good. Pasta was definitely al dente, sauce was wonderfully subtle. My partner did not enjoy their risotto, which they found oddly sweet. Main: chicken dish was well-cooked. Sablefish was excellent; melting in your mouth. Paired perfectly with cloud-like fried gnocchi and the pan sauce. Dessert: best tiramisu I've ever had. Perfectly smooth and slightly more dense than other tiramisu. Service: beyond unobtrusive, veering into slightly absent. We didn't seem to have one dedicated server, and different people came to our table each time, giving the service a disjointed feel.

Celebrated my birthday with 7 other guest. The staff was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a variety of dishes, but standouts were the chicken with mushroom risotto, scallops and the don't miss blueberry dessert!!! Fabulous time. Thank you for the lovely experience.

Cincin delivers quality service and food and I've enjoyed each visit I've had at this restaurant! Recently I went during Dine Out Vancouver. They have a good selection of dishes from meat and seafood to pasta and vegetarian options. One of the guests in our group was on a gluten free diet, and they make homemade gluten free bread as well! Our server was very friendly and attentive and made sure we had enough water at all times! For my meal, I tried the gem lettuce salad with pancetta. Its lightly charred which made the flavours blend very well. My main was the striploin with mashed potatoes and veggies. It was cooked to perfection and was a good portion size. For my dessert, I tried the decadent chocolate hazelnut cake with coffee nib ice cream. It was rich and chocolatey and definitely a nice treat!
