I visited Cinema Akil for the first time. Since it was my first time, I asked at the reception if there was parking for the cinema because I honestly didn’t know. There were two guys at the reception one of them with glasses, was super kind and helpful, but the other (short, skinny with short black hair) spoke to me in such a rude and dismissive way. He told me in a very unpleasant tone, without even looking at me, “there’s no parking here, you’ll have to pay for RTA parking.” It felt really disrespectful and unnecessary, especially as a first time visitor just asking a simple question.
That said, everything else about the experience was excellent. The cinema itself is amazing, we loved the atmosphere, the food was great, and the movie was fantastic. Overall, it was a memorable evening, I just wish the reception experience had matched the rest of it.
