Cinema VOX (ΒΟΞ)

Old fashioned athenian classic. Sound not great like most open-air cinemas but who cares... If you're lucky in non-summer times, you might as well bump into a mini riot, common in the area, mostly Friday, Saturday nights.

À historic landmark in the heart of the city, still showing carefully selected films and with a very competitive ticket price and discount scheme. Bran new chairs in the main seating areas, pity the plants around the perimeter were all dry. I recommend a collection for the renewal of those and the installation of a drip watering system

I love open-air cinema and I love cinema Vox, just around the corner from where I live in Athens.

Nice, cozy place for parties that are a little more "underground".

One of the most historic cinemas in Athens. I love it so much and its location at Exarcheia makes it very special. It's cozy and very urban at the same time. The only disadvantage is that you may hear other noises if there's any event around the corner. But overall you should visit.

Great experience! An authentic, unfussy and affordable open air cinema in the heart of Exarcheia. I really prefer it to more "chic" open air cinemas in the turisty area. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff is really friendly, the beers are cheap and the selection of films is great!

In the very heart of Athens this vintage open air cinema has a good taste in choosing films, is very spacious, green and has very comfortable old fashioned chairs. There is a decent bar with all sorts of food and drinks to enjoy a cool night out.
