CinemaxX Berlin Potsdamer Platz

I love it. Good and very coconvenient place if you want to watch a film in weekends. You have a Mall of Berlin also near to do shopping and to try new food. Do not by nacho's because it is too pricy.

I love this movie theater and come here all the time, but I don’t know what happened lately. This was the dirtiest I’ve ever seen a place in Berlin. The auditorium floor was full of old popcorn, the lounge was messy, and the bathrooms looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in days. Really hope management fixes this because I normally enjoy coming here.

Very kind staff and comfortable reclinable seats with trays for snacks and drinks. My rating is related to the sound system, we went to watch a concert movie and the sound was quite low, so I had to leave the room to ask the staff to make it louder. They did raise the volume a bit but the sound was coming only from the front and not the sides, so it wasn’t really an immersive experience which for a concert movie was disappointing.

A cinema I enjoy especially with the reclining seats. Unfortunately snacks and beverages are below average especially since the swap from Coke to Pepsi. Half the machines are leaking or always broken, less choice and way too sweet. Bring back Coke!

I went to Kino 10. Worst ever experience. The picture quality was so poor and don’t get me started on the sound. Even though I watched Fantastic 4, but felt like a TV program. Never going there again. The only positive thing was comfortable seats

After the movie, you can take the slide, which is pure fun. The cinema itself is quite small and cozy, perfect if you want the space mostly to yourself with friends or family. And don’t miss the popcorn with M&M’s it’s a must. Thanks for watching 🎬🍿

Pretty rude security personnel. I was getting in with my tiny pocket camera that I was already getting into my bag and was stopped and not allowed to get in. Im only giving two stars because I got a refund. But the time was wasted. Overall pretty bad experience. Note, my phone has also a camera and there’s no issue with that. Seems like the rules need to be updated honestly.

I must admit, I'm a bit disappointed. Aside from the reasonable ticket price, the rest was a struggle. The rows with letters and numbers weren't illuminated, and the lights were turned off well before the movie began. This caused a lot of confusion in the theater as people tried to figure out where to sit. But the biggest issue was the air conditioning system - it was either too weak or nonexistent in a packed theater during the summer. Sitting on leather or faux leather seats in such conditions was extremely uncomfortable and greatly detracted from the experience. Moreover, the picture quality isn't 4K, at least not in all the theaters. Back in the day, the Cinestar at Potsdamer Platz was much better. On the bright side, the popcorn is good and the servings are particularly generous.

me: were can i dispose my 3d glasses after the movie? you do recycle them? them: in the trash can; no we don`t me: why? that´s kind of the minimum you could do? them: i don´t know tha's just plain shabby

I probably shouldn't be all that surprised that in Germany you can get huge jugs of beer that you can take with you into the cinema, though I do note that other places have become a little more relaxed these days with allowing people to consume a beer while watching a film. However, as I said, this is Germany, so beer is truly a thing here and taking huge jugs of beer into a cinema, well, that is a thing as well. Oh, and I should also mention that the films here are also in English, which is a bonus.

Cinemaxx is a ok cinema for me, it located in a really nice area, right next to Sony Center. There are lots shops and restaurants around, quite a nice place to hang around. The cinema itself has 4 floors , at the ground floor are the tickets center, that's where you could get your tickets. The theaters are at the basement and the upper floors. I have never really counted how many theaters they got here. But their theaters generally are not so big, only two I have been was ok to called itself as a normal movie theater. The rest just seem a bit too small to be one. The sound system of those small theaters are quite old. To be honest, it isn't really enjoyable. In front of each theaters, you can see a shop for snacks, same to the basement. You could get some cokes, popcorns and other snacks here. The staff here are ok, not particularly friendly. They also got packing around. Sometime this place even seem a bit messy to me. It's always full of people though. The other thing I got to mention is, in this cinema, they play only movies with German voiceover. Only in very few occasions they will play the movie in original version. Not only that, the movie also don't have any subtitles (not even German itself) This is definitely a bummer for the people who don't speak German. Well, lucky, CineStar is right across the street. For me, generally I don't come here often. Only when I'm with friends, they usually only watch movies with German Voiceover, so when it becomes a group activity, even I don't like the cinema much, it's still great to hang out together. I hope in the future, they could improve their cinema system. It's not a problem for me to watch a movie in German, the important thing for me is to have a better movie experience.

Das Cinemaxx ist meiner Meinung nach das beste Kino in Berlin. Ich besuche das Kino schon seit mehr als 10 Jahren regelmäßig und bin sehr beeindruckt vom Ambiente, der Gastronomietheke und vor allem von der Filmauswahl, die im Vergleich zu anderen Kinos in Berlin gigantisch ist. Nicht nur können dank den mehr als 20 Kinosälen Filme hier für eine längere Zeit angesehen werden als sonst wo in Berlin, es gibt dazu noch reichlich viele Events in denen allerlei Filme, auch ältere, gezeigt werden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Kino ist im Allgemeinen sauber. Die zwei großen Kinosäle (Kino 3 und Kino 7) sind ganz klar die Highlights des Komplexes mit ihren riesigen Leinwänden und dem Maxximum Sound.

The good: High quality sound and Screens. Central location right at Potsdamer Platz. Lots of Movies in original version. (english). The bad: Very bad bathrooms (not clean) and expensive beverages

Versiffte toiletten, klebriger boden, ueberteuerte preise, lange schlangen ekelhaft!!!
