Excellent Stay Once Again at Cinnamon Citadel Kandy This was my second stay at the Cinnamon Citadel Kandy, and once again, it did not disappoint. My wife and I had a wonderful, relaxing time. The hotel offers a wide variety of delicious food, and the buffet options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner were impressive. Every meal was a treat! The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made our stay even more comfortable. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool – it has a beautiful view overlooking the lake, creating a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. Overall, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing experience. We’ll definitely return again in the future!

Hotel has a great view overlooking the river and is blended with nature. Its a peaceful surrounding. Evenings are enjoyable with live music while relaxing on the couch. Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. Everything you need is there in the room and its well organized. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Noteworthy to mention the great service extended by Sasi at the panorama restaurant. Overall a great service, great view and great value for money.

amazing hotel with amazing service, beautiful food and delicious food with a wide variety of different cuisines. a special thank you to kumara in the pool who made our stay 10 times better. all staff had wide smiles on their faces ready to help you when you need. the beautiful jungle scene from the rooms, pool, and the restaurant was absolutely breathtaking and beautiful area to take pictures and just genuinely enjoy the view. 100% recommend cinnamon citadel if you are ever in kandy.

Chef Selan is not only friendly but also very professional and approachable. The daily buffet is excellent, offering a wide variety of choices, all beautifully presented. The entire hotel staff go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Perfect service from a truly outstanding team!

We went for a calm and relaxing stay. The environment and scenic background were truly enchanting. From the very first moment to the last, we were welcomed with warm and friendly service. There were some stains in the room and on certain pieces of furniture, although I didn’t notice them at first. Make sure to take a walk near the river — it gives such refreshing vibes. It was slightly raining on the day we went, and the hotel staff, including the security uncle, kindly offered us shelter and umbrellas since we hadn’t brought any. The food was nice. The chefs and staff were very helpful and caring. However, I wasn’t quite pleased with the à la carte lunch. The most memorable part was relaxing by the pool while listening to music after the dinner buffet .such a romantic vibe.

Our stay in the hotel was great with a top notch service that suits the cinnamon standard offered throughout the stay. Smiling staff willing to go that extra mile to satisfy the guests and to fulfill any request as appropriate. The buffets had a extensive spread and continuous refilling with freshly made food and drinks. We have a great service provided by Ravindu, ensuring our kid was taken care of and that we had a enjoyable time. It is like staff of this calibre and the atmosphere within the hotel chain that keeps up bringing back. Keep it up team 👍
