I had the chance to enjoy the Saturday lunch buffet at Cinnamon Grand, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The spread was impressive, with a wide variety of options to suit every palate. The sushi station was definitely a highlight — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The shooters added a creative and refreshing touch to the meal. The main courses were equally satisfying, with tender meats, tasty sides, and a good mix of international and local dishes. The dessert corner was another standout, offering an incredible variety of sweets that made it almost impossible to pick just one. On top of all this, the staff were very friendly and attentive, providing excellent service that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Cinnamon Grand’s Saturday buffet is a wonderful combination of great food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting!

Excellent location, super central in Colombo with easy access to taxis! Smooth check in and check out process, the reception and staff were very hospitable!! Lobby and restaurants in the hotel were great. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was modern. The Cheers Pub and Lobby Cafe were some of the highlights of our stay! Amazing food, would stay again and recommend. Pool was great and the staff offered to hold our luggage until the airport taxi arrived.

The building combines modern luxury with traditional touches that reflect Sri Lankan culture and elegance. The layout is spacious, with beautiful interiors, lighting, and decor that make the entire place feel special and sophisticated. It’s perfect for fine dining, events, or even just relaxing in style. Service & Hospitality The staff and service were another standout. From the reception to the restaurant teams, everyone was courteous, professional, and genuinely welcoming. They ensured everything ran smoothly, and they were always available if anything was needed. Their attention to detail and friendliness added greatly to the overall experience. We recently had a one-day office workshop at Cinnamon Grand Hotel, and it turned out to be an amazing experience. Even though the workshop was just for a day, we stayed overnight, which made the event even more enjoyable. The workshop facilities were well-organized and comfortable, creating the perfect atmosphere for learning and team bonding. In the evening, we had a dinner party — the food was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious dishes, and the bar service was outstanding with a great selection of drinks. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, making our overnight stay relaxing after a productive day. The staff were friendly, attentive, and ensured everything went smoothly throughout our time at the hotel. Overall, Cinnamon Grand provided the ideal combination of professionalism and comfort. I highly recommend it for corporate workshops, events, and leisure stays.

We love staying at Cinnamon Grand Colombo for its great location, facilities, restaurants and staff that work very hard. They are also well experienced. If you come across any issues they will be extremely helpful. The house keeping staff work hard too. My special thanks to Wasantha, Dilshanu, Damith, Pasanna not sure if I have got the names right. The executive lounge experience is great because of all the staff and the names mentioned here we have known over the years and we look forward to seeing them every year. Many thanks!!!

We visited Plates at Cinnamon Grand with a group of 50 for a packed weekend dinner. The buffet offered a fantastic selection of food, including live cooking stations, hoppers, and a carvery – all of which were delicious and well-prepared. While the service on table clearance and water refills could have been a little more attentive, it’s understandable given how busy the evening was. Overall, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience enjoyable. A great spot for large gatherings with excellent variety and atmosphere!

The staff wearing Blue especially go out if their way to wow every guest. I especially enjoyed their service at dining everyday of my stay. I hope management recognize the hard work they put forth and treat them better. I also loved the new large kennel the hotel was building for a Cat and her kittens. This was what wow'd me about the whole experience how they all looked after this stray cat. Kudos to the cheif. I will be returning soon and would love to see the cat kennel again.
