Cinnamon Grand Colombo

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were extremely clean and very well maintained. The staff was highly attentive and friendly, and we would especially like to highlight Samantha, who was exceptionally polite, welcoming, and very professional. We would definitely choose this hotel again whenever we are in Colombo, particularly because of its excellent central location. The food at the hotel was outstanding — the on-site dining options were excellent and of very high quality. Overall, the experience was truly enjoyable, and we highly recommend this hotel.

Hey Team, We loved the hotel interiors and especially the Cheers pub. The breakfast spread was amazing and really enjoyed the local options. The rooms were comfortable. Just a special mention to Mr. Sanjeewa who helped us with our luggage. He was so warm and kind and went out of his way to help us!! Really appreciate his work.

We really loved the atmosphere at the hotel. Breakfast was well organized and the food was superb — the action stations made it even more enjoyable, especially the Indian and Sri Lankan corners with so much to choose from. The rooms were comfortable and relaxing, and Cheers Pub was definitely the place to be in the evening. Overall, we had a great stay. Thank you!

Had a comfortable one-day stay at Cinnamon Grand. The property is well-maintained, rooms are spacious, and overall service standards are high. Did not try the food during this stay, so can’t comment on dining. Special mention to Natasha and Dumith at the Front Office – extremely warm, efficient, and helpful. Their hospitality truly stood out and made the stay even more pleasant. Would definitely recommend for a smooth and hassle-free stay.

Stayed for two nights. The rooms were well appointed and beautiful. We had breakfast on both days and enjoyed lunch at Nuga Gama. The pool was excellent as well. Excellent hotel. Clean short distance to Galle face promenade as well as malls and other hotels. The hotel itself was well appointed. We did not find shattaf in the general toilets although the rooms had them.||Sheran at the reception was wonderful. Dilan at the Plates during breakfast was helpful. Food was absolutely wonderful. We stayed for breakfast and it's one of the best we have had!

We recently spent an evening at Cheers Pub at Cinnamon Grand Colombo, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable dining and social experiences we’ve had in the city. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by a vibrant yet cozy atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between an energetic pub vibe and a relaxed, comfortable setting. The ambience is stylish, well-lit, and inviting, making it an ideal place whether you are meeting friends, entertaining colleagues, or simply unwinding after a long day. The food was truly impressive. The menu offers a great variety of pub classics and signature dishes, all prepared to a very high standard. Every dish we ordered was well presented, full of flavour, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The portions were generous, and everything arrived at the table perfectly cooked and at the right temperature. The drinks menu is equally impressive, with a wide selection of beers, cocktails, and other beverages, making it easy to find something to suit everyone’s taste. What really elevated the experience, however, was the exceptional service. The staff were warm, friendly, and highly professional. They were attentive without being intrusive, always checking in at the right moments and offering helpful recommendations. It is clear that the team takes great pride in providing genuine hospitality, and this made us feel truly welcome and well looked after throughout our visit. The overall experience was further enhanced by the lively yet pleasant background music and the great overall energy of the place. Cheers Pub is not just a restaurant or a bar — it is a complete experience. If you are in Colombo and looking for a place that offers great food, excellent drinks, wonderful service, and a fantastic atmosphere, Cheers at Cinnamon Grand is definitely a place you should not miss. We will most certainly be returning again.

I just want to say that the level of service provided was exceptional. For a Hotel that has lasted this long, it felt both like home and fabulous! Great food, plenty of dining places within the hotel with friendly smiles and genuine people: everything that money can’t buy! A special shout out to Gayani and Jagath for making us feel like home, always following up on our needs and keeping our rooms tidy and clean. The smiles on their faces say it all. Natasha and the rest of the crew were amazing too. I truly felt blessed, cared for, and at home as an Australian-Sri Lankan returning home. I highly recommend Cinnamon Grand Hotel to anyone wanting to stay during these Sri Lanka tour. Keep up the good work Cinnamon Grand crew!
