We had an absolutely idyllic stay. Our Sunset Water Bungalow was the perfect place to soak in breathtaking sunsets while enjoying the crystal-clear water and vibrant coral life right at our doorstep. The room was spotless, and even on stormy nights it felt magical to drift off with the sound of the wind and ocean rocking the bungalow.||The excursions were enjoyable, although we would not recommend the shark seeing tour since you can easily spot them on your own. The restaurant offered very good quality with a focus on Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine, which was a wonderful discovery for us.||A big thank you to the bartender, the servers, and the spa team, who truly went above and beyond to pamper us. The resort itself is intimate and human-sized, nothing like the overcrowded Club Med experience we were afraid of. Despite a few grumpy French travelers on our first day by the pool, we quickly realized this place is all about tranquility, natural beauty, and pure relaxation.||There were a couple of downsides. The diving center manager was not particularly welcoming, which took away a bit from the experience. At the beginning of our stay we had an issue with the Premium All Inclusive upgrade. Due to an error with the booking provider, it never happened, and we only realized later that we were not actually on the plan we thought we had. Finally, the checkout process felt blurry in terms of assistance and not especially warm, which was a pity at the end of such a wonderful stay.||As seasoned travelers who have stayed at luxury resorts all over the world, we can honestly say this was paradise, appreciated at its fullest. Here, true luxury is calm.
