Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo

We really enjoyed our stay at Cinnamon Lakeside. This hotel feels different compared to everything else we experienced in Sri Lanka — but then again, Colombo itself is quite different from the rest of the country. The hotel is large and has a more old-fashioned style, but the rooms are very comfortable and well equipped, with all the facilities you would expect. Everything worked well and felt solid. There is a swimming pool, as well as several restaurants and bars, which is great, especially after traveling around the island. The staff is professional and well trained, and the overall service level is clearly higher. Breakfast was very rich and varied, with plenty of options to choose from. Overall, Cinnamon Lakeside is a great choice in Colombo, especially if you’re looking for comfort, professionalism, and a more international hotel experience.

We had our wedding at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo on 16th January 2026, and the entire experience was exceptional. The venue was beautifully arranged with a lovely lakeside atmosphere, the food was delicious and well appreciated by our guests, and the rooms were superb—spacious, clean, and very comfortable. All thanks to the Housekeeping staff. The staff were professional, attentive, and well organized throughout the event. Special thanks to Madhu and Daham from the banquet sales team, as well as the banquet operations team, for their incredible support and for handling even our last-minute requests so smoothly. Highly recommended for weddings and special occasions.

Cannot praise the hotel enough for its exceptional hospitality.. felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. The location is perfect, offering a peaceful lakeside atmosphere while still being conveniently close to the heart of the city. What truly sets Cinnamon Lakeside apart is its people. Every member of the team — from the welcoming front-desk staff to the attentive room service team — was consistently friendly, professional, and eager to help. Their smiles and willingness to go the extra mile made the experience feel personal and memorable. A special mention goes to General Manager Mr. Dushantha, whose leadership is clearly reflected in the high standards of service throughout the hotel. It’s rare to see such a strong culture of hospitality carried through every level of staff, and it made a lasting impression. Cinnamon Lakeside is a place where comfort, warmth, and excellence come together. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay!

We having been staying for 3 nights in cinnamon lakeside, and I must say the experience has been top notch. Ms. Ashcharya (front desk) was super helpful and friendly. Room.service and cleanliness is fantastic (must mention Mr. Shadath - very nice guy). Cleanliness is very important to us, and we were not disappointed at all. If you are looking for a friendly, calm and cozy place, you should consider cinnamon lakeside. We'll be here again for sure! To the hotel: Pls continue your good service.

We had a truly wonderful experience at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, made exceptional by the amazing staff and their genuine care. A special thank you to Dushan, the General Manager of Cinnamon Lakeside, for his excellent leadership, which is clearly reflected in the high standards of service throughout the hotel. I would also like to sincerely thank Ajith from the Banquet team and his staff, Azmi from Royal Thai and his team, the two gentlemen from ECL, and Anandha and the Library staff. Each of them was incredibly caring, attentive, and went above and beyond to look after all of us. I travelled with my family, and the trust, care, and attention we received from the staff. Me and my family really enjoyed My Sister's Anniversary dinner at cinnamon lake side.. The spread was impressive with a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes. The food was delicious, well presented, and fresh. The staff were very courteous and attentive, and the overall dining experience was excellent. And the Cake was sooo good...We Will definitely visit again.❤❤❤❤

We went to pickup our lunch order . Food was packed nicely . Quantity is too much . Worth for money . Delicious Curries and watalappam 😍 I ordered this Chicken biriyani for my parents anniversary.
