Cinnamon Life – Quizine (Lunch Buffet) | 18.11.2025 I visited Quizine at Cinnamon Life for the lunch buffet and it was an amazing experience. There was a wide variety of fresh food, and I tried many dishes. A few items were not exactly to my personal taste, but that’s definitely not the hotel’s fault—just individual preference. Everything was great except the pizza, which wasn’t up to the mark The service was excellent. The staff were very kind, helpful, and always smiling. No stress, no angry faces—just warm hospitality throughout. The interior design of the hotel is absolutely stunning and gives a premium feel the moment you enter. Highly recommended! You should definitely give it a try.

City of Dreams truly stands out — from the moment I stepped inside, the atmosphere felt elegant, calm, and perfectly suited for corporate events. I recently visited the hotel to book a hall for our company function, and the entire experience exceeded expectations. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. They guided me through all the hall options, explained the packages clearly, and helped us select the most suitable space for our requirements. Their hospitality and attention to detail made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The event halls are impressive — modern design, spacious layouts, excellent lighting, and all the necessary AV equipment already in place. The overall environment of the hotel feels luxurious and very well maintained, giving me full confidence that our event will be handled perfectly. This review is based on my booking experience, and I will update it after the event to give a complete and honest outcome of how everything turned out. Amazing property! Amazing facilities! Amazing food! Amazing views! And fabulous service! One stop for a luxurious stay in Colombo. Special shout out to the house keeping staff for being accommodative, Gayaan Silva for such a warm welcome, great smile, energy & amazing hospitality, and Tharindu at the concierge / help desk for helping me secure a last moment broken suitcase and make it safe enough for travelling back on the flight. We wished we could stay a little longer just to explore more of this property... & Colombo as 1 night wasn't enough. Definitely a must stay at The Cinnamon Life hotel, City of Dreams! Pro tip - make ur Spa reservations well in advance. We couldn't get ours for that day or the next.

From the moment you arrive, the service is absolutely outstanding. The staff make you feel welcome right away and take care of every detail. The hotel offers multiple swimming pools and a great variety of restaurants to choose from. After traveling around Sri Lanka for a few weeks, it was wonderful to have the option to enjoy different cuisines again. The buffet restaurant was also excellent, with plenty of fresh and tasty dishes. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, the beds are fantastic! It was the perfect place to spend the last couple of days of our trip, relaxing in luxury and enjoying all the amenities. Highly recommended as a wonderful and luxurious end to a Sri Lanka journey!

The best hotel experience I’ve ever had! The most kind, caring, and attentive staff I’ve ever met – always checking if everything was perfect and if we were happy. Incredible initiative and genuine hospitality in every interaction. The rooms are spotless, super comfortable, and filled with thoughtful details – soft pillows, cozy blankets, and plenty of fresh towels. The food was delicious, varied, clean, and clearly made with care. Housekeeping was outstanding – constantly making sure we had enough water, soap, and paper. And most importantly, a huge thank you to Supun, who took such good care of me when I was sick and made my stay unforgettable. Highly, highly recommended

The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. City of Dreams is an impressive destination in itself, with stunning architecture and world-class amenities. The central location makes it easy to explore Colombo, and everything you need is right at your doorstep. What really made the experience special was the amazing staff — everyone was incredibly helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Best hotel I have stayed at in Colombo, highly recommended!

Management Team, Cinnamon Formal Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Staff Behaviour Staff Name - Vishwa I am writing to formally bring to your attention an incident of highly unprofessional behaviour I experienced during my recent visit to your establishment. Before even taking our order, one of your staff members made inappropriate remarks such as: 1. “Don’t take the 1-to-1 offer, please take a bottle.” 2. “Please don’t share your drink.” The manner and tone used were discourteous and made us feel unwelcome. It was also evident that the staff member did not wish to serve us, which further added to our discomfort. Such behaviour is unacceptable, especially at a reputed venue like Cinnamon Life Gatz where guests expect respectful and professional service at all times. Following this unpleasant experience, we were completely out of mood and decided to order just a Crispy Hedello dish before leaving. We then went to the Shangri-La Capital Bar, where the staff were extremely welcoming and professional. Their hospitality truly made a difference, and we genuinely appreciated the level of service provided—something we had hoped to receive at Cinnamon Life Gatz as well. I kindly request that this matter be taken seriously and addressed appropriately to ensure that such behaviour does not affect other guests in the future. Thank you for your attention. Amazing hotel with stunning infrastructure and breathtaking views! 🌅 The property is truly impressive — spacious, modern, and beautifully designed. The lake view adds an extra touch of charm, making the entire experience even more scenic. However, the food is average, and vegetarian options are quite limited, which can be a bit challenging. The layout of the hotel can feel confusing at first — there are many floors and lifts, and not every lift goes to every level — but the staff are extremely courteous and always ready to assist. It’s a very family- and kid-friendly hotel, perfect for a relaxed vacation. We visited as wedding planners to organize an Indian destination wedding — the very first one hosted at this property! The management team is cooperative, though their pace of work can be a little slow. Overall, a beautiful venue with incredible potential for destination weddings and family getaways.
