Excellent for travelers on a budget... But that is all.
Cafe Fuente serves as a restaurant for the Summit, the food served had a nice presentation. The sinigang was tasty, the herb roasted chicken was well prepared and presented, the taste was at par. It was served with fresh vegetables but those were cold. The fish filet was an utter disappointment, the presentation is good but the filet is covered with way too much batter. Some of it was uncooked, thus forming clumps of uncooked flour that is simply unsafe for consumption.
The serving time was a bit too long considering that only 3 tables were occupied during our stay.
The room are spacious but could use a good deep clean, the bathroom is old with a small shower that is impractical for taller guests, the shower head is covered with mildew and rust.
The room service crew was polite but the service itself is wanting. The continental breakfast was served cold. The eggs were well done, not overcooked but felt as if they came out of a refrigerator. Simply unappealing. The tea was served in glass mugs but the water was nowhere near 90 degrees. No spoon either, we had to stir with the knives we asked to be provided.
So despite the friendliness of the crew, this hotel is dated and the service is deplorable. Stay there only for an overnight stay if you are on a strict budget.
