The hotel is ok. It's above a Robinsons Mall. They got a very narrow driveway to the parking lot and entrance of the hotel. The staff were unattentive and we did get a small problem with our booking. The Bad: • The bed was not that comfortable • The pillows are the same -- uncomfortable • The blanket was very thin. You'll freeze during the night. • There was no bidet in the bathroom • The drainage in the shower is so bad that water won't drain • The appliances and furniture are all old and not maintained. The Good: • Situated in a very good location • Great view • Appliances are working • Very spacious Overall, I would've wished we were booked in another hotel. There are a lot of good hotels in Cebu. We were just forced to stay because we have an event the next night. This one is old and the quality of the hotel was not holistically preserved.

A great place to stay in Cebu for business with one of the best room rates and it comes with buffet breakfast. It is located at a very strategic location in Cebu and is walking distance to banks, restaurants, drug stores, groceries, health and wellness, and is a couple of blocks away from the Capitol. The staff are very courteous and the rooms are kept well and clean. Internet is quite strong in the rooms. There is parking space available at the 4th floor. There is also a gym and pool. Robinsons Department store and Supermarket is located at the lower floors which gives the business traveler ease of getting things needed for the trip or something to take home. Transportation is not a problem here as there is access to all public transport and the airport bus drives thru the area. Ask for early check in once you arrive in Cebu in the early morning. They will sure find a way to accommodate your request and make your stay in Cebu a very pleasant one.

Excellent for travelers on a budget... But that is all. Cafe Fuente serves as a restaurant for the Summit, the food served had a nice presentation. The sinigang was tasty, the herb roasted chicken was well prepared and presented, the taste was at par. It was served with fresh vegetables but those were cold. The fish filet was an utter disappointment,  the presentation is good but the filet is covered with way too much batter. Some of it was uncooked, thus forming clumps of uncooked flour that is simply unsafe for consumption. The serving time was a bit too long considering that only 3 tables were occupied during our stay. The room are spacious but could use a good deep clean, the bathroom is old with a small shower that is impractical for taller guests, the shower head is covered with mildew and rust. The room service crew was polite but the service itself is wanting. The continental breakfast was served cold. The eggs were well done, not overcooked but felt as if they came out of a refrigerator. Simply unappealing. The tea was served in glass mugs but the water was nowhere near 90 degrees. No spoon either, we had to stir with the knives we asked to be provided. So despite the friendliness of the crew, this hotel is dated and the service is deplorable. Stay there only for an overnight stay if you are on a strict budget.

The hotel is very accessible since it is located in the middle of the city. The area sorrounding the hotel is not so crowded. The lobby is at the 4th floor so it is not really crowded and it is not noisy. Free parking spaces provided but for new drivers better park at the nearby parking lot (near Metrobank- Php 50 for 1st 3 hours and Php10/ succeding hours) . The spiral way to the parking area is not friendly (lack of better term).

A favorite of a friend who stays in Cebu for months every year. They renovated their rooms and they were not bad. Couple that with competitive room rates and you got a nice place to stay in uptown Cebu. In January, you'll find yourself in the middle of the city street dancing! When Cebu parties like no other!

It's kinda cool that the Summit Circle Hotel became Circle's nest, and therefore we became intrigued by it, their new set-up is 10k per room only per month, however upon checking the room there is no aircon since they say that the aircon is centralized and it's broken, I really hope they can repair it. And you can't add appliances without permission from their operations manager, so sad that we are not allowed to cook, though we can store food on their common refrigerator downstairs.
