The best destinations for experiencing the Formula 1 Grand Prix

"A versatile track featuring long straights, a mix of high- and low-speed corners and elevation changes; this circuit is noted for lively fan gatherings and pop-up bars during race weekends and will be the last F1 event here before the race relocates." - Gayatri Bhaumik

One of the most unforgettable experiences of my life! Attended the Spanish F1 GP here — the atmosphere was absolutely electric. We had seats at the covered grandstands at Turn 1 — hands down the best seats you can get, no cap. You get to witness all the drama of the race start, overtakes, and the perfect angle on the action. A couple of minor points: walking to get water or snacks can be a bit of a trek, and post-race exits tend to get a little congested. But honestly, once you're soaking in the atmosphere and the energy of the crowd, these feel like small things. Definitely enjoyed watching Max dominate — what a weekend! Highly recommend attending the race here at least once — it’s a bucket-list experience for any F1 fan.

Amazing experience for an F1 weekend. Fairly easy to get to from the city, the free buses from the train station were great. Huge queues after the race for transport but that's expected, we hung out at a bar and enjoyed the atmosphere and music in the town square for a few hours. We had seats in grandstand C which were amazing. Could see maybe 5 corners and the pit entry. Not a huge overtaking area but did see some close calls with gravel traps and the sound of the cars as they go through different speeds is awesome. Lots of water stations though queues got long at times and some stopped working. The fans and mist sprays were a godsend in the 30°C heat. Food isn't the best and expensive so we loaded up at the hotel breakfast. Hot dogs were €9, sandwiches €8.50, ice creams €4-5, drinks €5, non alcoholic beer €9-13 or so.

Been twice now to the F1 here in Barcelona, and the track is great. It's easy to get to for race weekend with the busses from the bus station, and takes around 15-20 minutes to walk up from the bus to the circuit itself. Does not take long to get in, just a bag check and ticket scan. There are plenty of water stations around the circuit, and plenty of food stalls and drinks. It can be very hot when you are sitting in the sun, so be sure to take sun cream. A good amount of merchandise and activities all around the track too. Great experience and amazing viewing from the stands.

Was here during F1 weekend. Loved the track, nice atmosphere. A lot of people thought. There was a lack of shadow for sure, people had to hide wherever possible it was a very hot weekend. Otherwise 10/10. It’s sad to realize it was last F1 race for now at this track.

We drove here all the way from Sweden just to watch formula 1 , and it was epic! An experience for life and a dream come true! Unfortunately the whole visit here to the circuit was NOT pleasant at all, the parking arrangement was a complete disaster!! I didnt matter if we bought 3 day parking in advance for 50 euro , there was absolutely no good service at all from the staff. The parking staff was rude, inexperienced it seemed and the whole planning of the parking was terrible! We had seats in area F, I bought them because om the map when booking o saw the parking was right outside, but when we got there that parking was apparently to the vip... so we had to park on literally the other side of the track! It took us at minimum one hour every day just to get to our seats, we missed so many races because of this. They didnt look at our tickets but just waved us forth and forth and forth. And then when we started to wave with our tickets they showed us down another path. One time a guy saw our seats and said go to h1 or h2 and when we got there another worker yelled at us because we were not supposed to be there, and EVERY TIME WE ASKED ,WHERE SHOULD WE GO?! they just waved at any direction and said basically "not here". It was infuriating!!! It honesty made us angry every day just getting in and out of there. Day 2 on Saturday we literally moved 30 meters in 2 hours! We have never been through anything like this. Horrible, im sad to say it ruined the experience on f1. I will NEVER recommend this circuit to anyone for any events. Sidenotes: cue for the water fountain was about 45 minutes, so we missed a few extra races. A 33cl water bottle cost 3.5 euro. We had to show our tickets when leaving our seats...not just going into the area.. created unnecessary cues. To end on a good note, the staff inside, selling merch were so kind and helpful!

It was a very good experience watching F1. Friendly staff, well organized and medium waiting time. We had great view from our seat, and only thing missed was a roof to provide shadow as some of the seatings has. Constructive criticism: line for toilets was very long for the women's, and both men's and woman's toilet lacked better and more hygienics. The water posts to fill up your water in the heat was a nice addition but unfortunately they are very slow making a huge line for filling your bottle, so if you want to see race you need to buy water (as the only way is to wait or fill up while there is race).

Don’t be fooled about talk of crowds. It may be different for F1 but the main grandstand was sparsely occupied for Le Mans Series. However the catering couldn’t provide for even this level of attendance. It was terrible. That is shy even though the motor racing was excellent the venue didn’t match the spectacle

Its hard to get Ubers from here. We did the tour, was very short, not that much information given but seeing the track and the insides of the paddock is cool. The tour does not include a tour around the track itself.
