My favorite dive bar. Great food, drinks, and the BEST staff. Always a fun crowd no matter when you go. What are you waiting for, it's 5 o'clock somewhere!

Chill spot with pool tables. The establishment allows smoking. The bartender guy is pretty cool and has great energy. I had chicken wings and were surprisingly pretty good. There's a lot of television options for a small bar.

It might be in their description somewhere but I didnt realize they are a smoking bar with no non-smoking area. Beer is limited to primarily boring run of the mill domestics. Their menu is hand written, which could be kinda cool. But it was pretty lame to be honest. Ordered potato skins and they came less than fully cooked

A fun dive bar with great poker tournaments, awesome darts, and cool pool. Ashley and Army and Danny are great behind the bar but JoJo is outstanding, from her service to her friendliness, she stands out as a rockstar!

On June 18, 2025 they open up at 10 we walked in at 11 we was ignored and we asked, was they serving?They say yes turn day back and walked away. I don’t wanna say because we was black but that’s what we got.

Great bar. Had my birthday get together there. Food is good, have pool tables and dart boards. Has a jukebox for music. Bartender was great definitely will be going there again soon

I totally love this bar, nice bar you can play pool they have 3 tables, and dart 5 dart, nice drinks and food, nice people come to this place, is very quiet on week days, more busy weekends, the service is awsome they are very helpful. Can't wait to come back!

Still my favorite dive bar after all of these years! On this Yelp "Thankful Thursday", I have to give Circus a shout-out once again. This local spot becomes like a 2nd home. They have great food, great drinks, and great people! There are different specials nightly, and always a great place to watch a game. Stop by and say Hi!

Jordon... She is a young, very unprofessional, very rude, possibly prejudiced bartender even after I gave her a nice tip. She had the nerve to tell me you owed this. This place overall was a ok place, but they really need to do something about Jordan I can't express how nasty and rude she was other patrons even was agreeing. She was completely unprofessional and nasty...

I always have a good time when I come here. There is pool tables, dart boards, good service and delicious food. If you are looking for a comfortable, judgment free zone to chill , this is it.

Good drinks and attentive service. Full service bar with experienced bartenders . This is definitely a bar so expect smoky darkness, music at more than background level and some laughter. Good place to unwind after a hard days work. Good food, too. We had the chicken quesadilla and it was excellent,

The food is decent. The bartenders are friendly. They have poker nights. 3 pool tables. Darts and some kind of fish table game. The sound system is not too quiet or too loud. I hit this place for lunch on a regular basis. Not too bad. I think they've been there 40 something years. That speaks for itself.

Beer and food overall is great. Bartenders are friendly and helpful, never sat at the bar with an empty bottle. Really enjoy pool tables and other games in the bar.

Great dive bar atmosphere! Darts, pool, poker and more. Wings are on point and service was excellent! Karaoke on Wednesdays and Ladies night in Thursdays. Love this bar!

I went on a Wednesday to karaoke night. The dj made me comfortable to get up and sing and now I go there every Wednesday now. The bartender Ashley is so sweet . The wings are great. It feels like family environment.

This is my local hole in the wall bar. Me and the boys go here often to shoot pool. The food is incredible and the bartenders know you by name and remember your drink. Really makes you feel at home and in a secret location. Only locals know about this gem

Wednesday is karaoke night that I come hang out and The staff is the greatest. Wings are awesome and Manager JR makes you feel so welcome

Ok service. she forgot to place my food order. I had to go ask her her comment "oh shit, it will be right out". Other than that she was goo... swamped by only being a one person army with 50 patrons. Food::: omg French onion soup was amazing, chicken wings to die for, California sandwich yum. So big had a midnight snack. Cost very reasonable. Will be back for more with my brothers. Not kid friendly though.

Circus Bar is a Pompano Beach treasure. Tucked away in a warehouse district, it's nondescript upon approach, but once inside the fun begins. The bar has a welcoming, vintage look and feel upon entry. The bar staff is friendly and attentive. The menu has a great variety of appetizers and handhelds, including the most delicious wings you'll find south of Buffalo. Daily specials generally include plated items (for example: ribs or brisket) with choice of sides. Entertainment includes flat screen TVs, pool tables (tournaments every Wednesday!), darts and digital TouchTunes jukebox, not to mention a diverse clientele made up of locals and passersby...and the occasional dancing regular! Stop by for cold drinks, delicious vittles and great company at a place where life is a Circus!

If I could give zero stars I would in a heartbeat! My coworkers and I came here for happy hour and what a horrible decision. The customer service is non existent and the beverages were watered down, not to mention the bar tender who seemed like she would like to be anywhere but there! PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND ANOTHER BAR TO SPEND YOUR MONE

All I really go for is the wigs which are fugggin fabulous!?! They are near my job so I'm in there at least once a week. All of the lady bartenders are nice especially the one with the colorful hair. The bar is fully equipped with pool tables, darts and plenty of big screen TVs

Used to love this place.... I should have known when they stopped having onion rings on the menu (what sports bar doesn't have onion rings on the menu?!) that they are going into the craper and well, now they don't have NFL Sunday Ticket. Bartenders are good. Go in for a drink during the week, if you want - I'm going to find a different dive bar.

Wow was I surprised! I had a long morning at work so I skipped breakfast. I wanted to eat somewhere different from the usual places. I only have 30 mins to get lunch so my choices are usually limited. Today I wanted to eat in a different place. I probably drive by this place everyday but for whatever reason I never stop to check it out. Maybe it was the run down down look of the building, but today I had that "Yolo" mind set and decided to go in.lol My first impression was wtf? Yes, it's a smoking bar that was not very well lit and the furniture was really old and out dated. They have pool tables and a really long bar. Not much of a dinning area. So I decided to get food to go. I ordered the chicken fajita and 20 wings for my co-workers. I was amazed by how good everything was. The vegetables on my fajita were surprisingly fresh and the flavors were out of this world! I really didn't expect this at all. I will never judge another restaurant by the appearance. I won't be eating in there anytime soon, but I will definitely keep getting lunch to go there. I give 4 star for the food only! If you're in this are give it a try

The best wings in town! Ask for Hot/BBQ mix or the Jim Bob dry rub! You will not find better blue cheese on this planet!!! Well, you might - but this is literally the best blue cheese I have ever had! The bartenders are always friendly and helpful. Also, the prices are affordable. The only problem I have with this place is the smoke. When you open the door you can almost see the cloud of smoke "puff" out. If you are not a smoker, then actually sitting in this bar is unbearable! When you leave you will smell like an ashtray. I have resorted to ordering for pick-up... I am on the way there now... =)

Everyone at work orders from here and the food has always smelled great. I decided to try the Friday Wing special and I was NOT disappointed. The smell was incredible and once I got home, the WINGS were incredible. Tasty, full of flavor. If nothing else, try the wings.

So I was here having a great time with Ally! Such a sweet and attentive bartender..: then shift change When the new girl came in, I believe her name was Armi? She was so rude and was extremely rude to the day time bartender... I would never spend time with that lady, ALLY AND CHLOE ALL DAY!

Great local bar. It was Monday night and we couldn't find a place to grab a drink. My friend was only in town for the night and we wanted to catch up. She is a smoker so this was a perfect. The bartender was amazing. We wanted a specific shot. She wasn't sure how to make it; however, she looked it up and figured it out right away. As a non smoker, I did not mind this bar. The must have an amazing ventilation system. They offer some food and have pool tables, dart boards, and a few gambling machines. This was definitely a find and would absolutely go back.

It's a bar, with bar food and a bar crowd! It's a great spot for cheap and strong drinks! Just know they allow smoking indoors which means you will smell like cigarette smoke! The darts are free and the wings are great! Do not, repeat DO NOT eat a salad from here it's gross! I made the mistake and I regret it! The wings and Tater tots are my favorite! It's a spot that many local businesses frequent!

Stopped today to watch football and tried the Brat which great! Also indulged in the garlic wings which were perfect! I also must give this an extra five star rating for the bartender Rita! She provides fantastic service! Great place and atmosphere!

Honestly I need to drink in dart bars more often. SO much cheaper than regular bars. Circus is located back in a somewhat industrial looking plaza off of Cypress Creek. I stopped in because my coworkers have a dart team and were playing there. I had a few cocktails elsewhere and figured I would keep the night going a drink or two longer. I was greeted by the bartender and ordered a Michelob Ultra and handed her my card. She informed me that there was a $15 credit card minimum at which point I asked her how much the beer was, figuring I'd order one or two more and I'd be set. Well, beers were only $3 and I knew I would not be getting five of them, so I decided it just made sense to order shots for everyone. Two Patron and three Jack Daniels shots later my bill was still only about $40 . You can easily spend that on three drinks at those fancy craft cocktail bars (or two drinks in Miami). Obviously though, this is a completely different atmosphere. This particular night the bar was mostly dart players, a few different teams, and although it's not necessarily a high class crowd everyone was fun and friendly. They serve food here, a pretty decent sized bar menu, and although I haven't tried any of it the reviews are good, and everyone in my group said they find it to be a pretty good meal for a dive bar. One major downside here is that they do allow smoking; however, either not many of their patrons actually smoke, or they have a great ventilation system, because I wasn't bothered by it, and I didn't really smell it on my clothes when I got home. As much as I hate smoking, here it was completely tolerable, especially compared to other dart nights I have been to.

It's a dive bar appropriately populated with colorful regulars. If you like dive bars, you'll have a good time. If you don't, everyone would be happier if you go somewhere else.

Stopped in for wing special, nice clean atmosphere and Saturday evening crowd. Jukebox old men dancing to Michael Jackson's Thriller....got to love it cold drinks make it right. ..

Love this place. Let me preface with this: THIS IS NOT A CLUB. I've heard too many people crying about the atmosphere, when it is a sports bar, and that is a normal atmosphere. Now, that being said, on to the review. For starters, this place is smoker friendly (smoking inside OK), so if you're not into that, don't hang out by the pool tables or the dartboard. The food here is excellent, but the kitchen is only open till 11pm (I think, don't quote me on that time). The drinks are well made and reasonably priced. Decent beer selection. The bartenders are so sweet and exactly what a bartender should be. Good at making your drink, better at listening and being friendly. After about a minute of speaking with "Shelly" (Name changed for anonymity. Don't think it matters, but better safe than sorry) We were showing each other out tattoos and badmouthing our ex boyfriends. And she did this with everyone she tended. The tenders are efficient and genuine. There are several TV's showing the major sports games that are happening at the time. There's also a jukebox and a dartboard. There are a few tables, but mostly a long bar and a pool table area. Bathrooms are kinda cramped, but it's a small price to pay for such a fun place. Very back home feel. Summary: If you like the tattooed/pierced/fun-having/sports bar loving crowd, and if you love good food, this place is where it's at.

I play darts out of this bar. Its a cool dive to get drinks and play darts. The Wings and burgers are really good for the prices.

This dive joint is a throwback from yesteryear, cheap drinks and a friendly bartender. I personally can't deal with the indoor smoking anymore (maybe I never could, just didn't have a choice). If smoky dive bars are your thing, you will be very happy here.

The bartender was super sweet. Hence the patrons are an eclectic mix. Laughed so hard when this man came yelling out of the men's room, "Mexican's walk over. The Puerto Rican's swim." Needless to say thought should leave or might become a burrito in the backwoods.

this was one the best places to go to. first went in 1990! haven't been in awhile back then they had 2 of the best bartenders Janet and Cathy ! Just wondering if they are still there. or if anyone know's how to get a hold of them. Would love to catch up with them i went there with all the guys from the beer company (Coors). if any one knows their where abouts. post it please Is Phil still the owner

This is the best secret in Pompano! Don't tell anyone. Staff is friendly, food is great and all are welcome! You can go in at anytime and you'll always be greeted by a friendly face, first time or 100th time. Awesome place.

This neighborhood bar keeps you coming back. Good food, better people! Unpretentious, casual, come as you are, be yourself type of join! If you want to laugh and relax this is a good spot for you. The owners here understand what people want and are a lot of fun. Met many people here that have been coming for over 10+ years. Darts and pool always, poker a couple days a week for bar tabs. Talk sports, crack jokes, and let loose with your friends. I like to go to the Circus to watch the NFL Sunday ticket and the wings.

Work close by ordered 150 wings for a company gathering . Ordered from online menu where there was pricing was never told total over the phone sent an employee to pick up the bill was $30.00 dollars higher when I called I was told the online menu is old and they refused to credit me

Always love the Circus. Good food, fun folks bartender servers second to none. My fav is the French Onion soup. Get it extra cheese and crispy. Old school charm with amusing knucleheads scattered about. Wings are good too

Good locals place to watch some sports, play pool or darts. Friendly regular crowd and service! We were happy to find this place! We came on a Sunday night so it's tough for us to give an accurate rating and description of the crowd on a Friday or Saturday. The wings are meaty and the Jim Bob rub was good.
