Fukuoka cocktail bar opens in Bangkok - SilverKris

"Opened on 3 April as the second outpost of Yoshimitsu Obara’s genre‑blurring concept, this five‑floor Bangkok venue operates as much as a lifestyle label as it does a bar — known for signature coffee cocktails, music collaborations and fashion drops. About 30% of the Bangkok menu is new while core drinks like the espresso martini remain; inventive, narrative fusion cocktails draw on tropical fruits, Asian herbs and local spirits, including a distinct green curry cocktail (Khob Khun Krab) that differs from the Fukuoka recipe. The location near Phrom Phong BTS gives the team space to stage events, collaborations with local bartenders and musicians, brand crossovers and releases on an in‑house label, all aimed at mixing the cultures and people of Fukuoka and Bangkok." - James P. Great cocktail bar. Intimate experience. Yoshi (owner) and Dan were a lot of fun to hang out with. We also asked for off menu drinks, Japanese style. Delicious. The owner has a bar back in Japan and makes Michelin level cocktails. Highly recommend.

An absolute gem hidden in Bangkok. Citadel feels like a little slice of Fukuoka. It’s intimate, stylish, and effortlessly cool. The cocktails are outstanding!!! And the vibe is warm and welcoming. The bartenders are friendly and clearly love what they do. I really want to gatekeep this bar but I can’t. It’s just that good.

This bar was phenomenal, drinks were absolutely stunning in both taste and presentation . Yossy's drinks designs and creations were amazingly crafted. Served by Dan who made this experience both warming and fun whilst we enjoyed our drinks . Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a cocktail (I recommend espresso martini in particular )

One of the best cocktail bars in Bangkok. I highly recommend the Espresso Martini. The owner Yoshi is so kind and I genuinely hope his business does well. I come here every time I come off work, or when I visit my favorite Nuru massage spot Hakumi Nuru Massage in the same alley.

Legitimately fantastic Japanese cocktail bar. Yoshi San is truly a master with his own cocktail menu. Honestly the best espresso martini I've had easily in Bangkok.

Amazing hidden gem. Just happened to visit this place as it was close to my hotel but really glad I did. Super cool quiet vibe, easy to talk with nice decor. The staff are really friendly and chill. The cocktails are super tasty and unique. Will definitely come back next time in Bangkok.
