Fantastic Shopping Experience at Citadel Outlets! Citadel Outlets is truly one of my favorite places to shop. It’s a clean, family-friendly outlet that makes spending the day here an absolute pleasure. There’s a great mix of name-brand retailers offering amazing deals, so it’s easy to find something for everyone in the family. On top of the shopping, there are plenty of food options to keep you fueled throughout your visit, from quick bites to sit-down meals. The atmosphere feels safe and well-maintained, making it a great spot to bring kids or just enjoy some solo shopping time. Highly recommend Citadel Outlets if you’re looking for a fun day out with great bargains and lots of variety!

Google
A very nice shopping place, where we visit frequently. It's adjacent to the 5 freeway. So for most of the time, coming here is not a problem. However, if you come late, you may have a hard time finding a parking spot. A lot of good shops are here. It's worth a visit, if you haven't done so

Google
Clean, well-maintained, and pleasant shopping experience · *Free parking:* Huge plus - no hassle finding a spot! · *Family-friendly:* Perfect for a fun day out with loved ones · *Great restaurants:* Outdoor seating areas make dining a delight Highly recommended for anyone looking for discounts and a great shopping vibe! I’m so down to explore Citadel Outlet It’s an open-air shopping paradise.

Google
Citadel Outlets don’t really have much variety, and the prices aren’t that cheap either. Their “buy one, get one 50% off” promotion is misleading — it basically just means a maximum of 25% off (and only if you buy two items of the same price). Even with an extra 15% coupon, it’s still not a true 40% discount. Compared to other premium outlets, it’s closer to the city, but the selection is poor and prices are higher. Honestly, going to Macy’s might have been a better option.

Google
“Beautiful and Worth a Visit!” This outlet center is absolutely worth visiting! It is beautifully designed, creating a pleasant and enjoyable shopping experience. The entire area is very clean and well-maintained. There are many great stores with fantastic deals, making it a great place to shop. I highly recommend stopping by!

Google
This shopping center was wonderful to visit. Many stores to shop and buy things. Very exciting experience. Easy free parking available. The mall has good restaurants and clean bathrooms. Everything you need in one place. Good location in Los Angeles for shopping.

Michael Guynn

Google
This a solid outlet mall. Basically every storefront is populated with major brands, there are some decent food options, vending all over, and - critically - large and clean bathrooms! The location isn't "convenient" per se, but right of the 5, we find ourselves at least passing it pretty often. Whenever we stop, we usually find something worth checking out. Mostly clothing and fashion, but there are a few housewares stores, cafes, chocolates, other luxury goods, and novelties. The major drawback is parking. The way it's laid out always kind of makes entering feel like a bottleneck. There's a big lot in the middle for valet, and you sort of have to either park in the structure near the front and walk, or drive through the whole thing to get to the surface lot. Either way, you're stuck going through this little entry drive. But once you're in, it's a good an outlet mall experience as you're likely to find anywhere.

Google
Citadel Outlets near Los Angeles are always our go-to shopping destination. With top brands like Bally, Michael Kors, Guess, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, GAP, Columbia, and Samsonite, there’s always something we actually need — and find! The outlet is clean and well-maintained, especially the restrooms, which are both ample and spotless. For a quick and tasty lunch, Ruby’s Diner is a great choice. There’s even a Disney Store, which is always a highlight for the kids. Whether you’re visiting or live nearby, this place is a must-stop when you’re in the Los Angeles area. Great shopping, family-friendly, and always worth the trip.

Yelp
Excellent outlet shopping! Plenty of parking, very nice stores, clean, safe vibe. Food, drink options that are good. Thanks, it's well run center!

Yelp
I recently stopped here and they have some great stores! The parking wasn't bad even when it's very busy, the parking lot is massive. Stores had good service for the most part, the selection was even better and there were a lot of deals! It is decorated for Christmas which is a nice little touch to the atmosphere. Bathroom were clean, stores were well kept, I will definitely be back for shopping here.

Yelp
I go to the Citadel a few times a year. It has ample parking ( at least 2 parking lots and a valet lot) and is not too busy if you get there early. It is not as big as some of the other outlet malls around like Cabazon or Camarillo so you only need a few hours to see the whole outlet. It also doesn't carry the extremely high end brands as the other outlets either but it is a nice mall to walk around and enjoy the weather. It is always decorated according to the holidays. I always find good deals even if I'm not actually shopping for anything. The store clerks are friendly. Not many places to eat other than the food court and Ruby's diner but it's enough for me.

Yelp
Love to shop at the Citadel Outlets. Parking lot is is huge, so many stores, good but not great pricing and conveniently located

Yelp
Day after Thanksgiving, my family and I came here to browse at the various stores. It was pretty quiet at 9am compared to thanksgiving night. Lots of stores had the same promos which was mentioned in the news. Plenty of parking at 9am. Good selection and value of sale items. The bathrooms were clean and plenty.
google avatar

Erica T.

Yelp
Ample parking, good variety of foods to choose from, clean public restrooms, clean everywhere. Good stores to shop from.

Yelp
Recently stopped in citadel and realize there's a Vuori outlet. The service was excellent and the staff so helpful. Special shoutout to Ashley and Nicole. Both are so warm and sweet. I really love the quality of Vouri but the staff and excellent service they provide really enhance my shopping experience

Yelp
10/20/24, My first time visiting this place, I always drove down the 5 freeway for many years passing the Citadel, just never thought of stopping here to check it out. Came here with a friend on Sunday at 1:30pm to 4:30pm. We walked through many stores, bought several clothing items. We were both impressed with how each store was clean and organized with clothes nicely folded and put away properly since each store had employees out on the floor folding clothes that customers touched and messed up. Employees in each store were also friendly and asked if we needed help finding anything or had questions. Walking along the walkway into stores didn't seem too difficult nor overwhelmingly crowded despite all the people there shopping and dining. The music playing along the walkways was pleasant to listen to with both past and latest hit music. We will likely not shop again at Macys stores due to how messy the clothing racks get and clothes tossed around on the floors, the lack of staff around to help customers and the other unpleasant things these days about shopping at Macys. Will likely return regularly to these outlets stores to shop and dine.

Yelp
This review is purely for the "I've been driving for hours, I'm stuck in LA traffic and I GOTTA PEE!" factor. Need a snack, a meal, a purse, jewelry, shoes, a new outfit? Is nature calling? This is the place to stop! It's right off the 5. Great spot to stretch your legs before getting back in traffic. Oh, and the Starbucks crew was super nice. They even gave me an extra large cup of ice on a really hot day without charging me extra. I really appreciated their humanness and care. Thanks Starbucks!

Yelp
Never knew this outlet existed! So many shops! I seen a brand Citadel but never knew there was an outlet. It's an outdoor mall and is very clean and maintained.

Yelp
Surprised that I have not written a Yelp review here! Guess I do not come as often as I thought... Wait, I see my 7/23/22 pictures, where is my review? Quality/Quantity - Other than Lululemon, which is a new tenant, I do not shop most (if any) of these brands. Hence the 3 star review. And if you are following, my favorite outlet mall is in Livermore, CA. Approximately 130+ businesses. 17 businesses to eat & drink; see pictures. Atmosphere - Live DJ today, he was mixing from the roof; see picture. Amazing Christmas tree; see picture. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 9pm. Two huge parking garages. Some open parking lot options, but I do NOT recommend it. It was crazy busy. Rideshare friendly. Wifi - But I was not able to log in. Bus loads of tourists get bused in. Service - Tourists friendly. See pictures. They also have a place for currency exchange. Sales and events - See individual businesses or Citadel website. VIP lounge day pass for $30. Complimentary baggage check. Price - Depends what you buy or eat & drink. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1929 with your recent 2017 remodel.

Yelp
I was so excited to see this store at the outlet but very disappointing to see most of their items were all regular price. We just got the generic hi ! We left and headed to lululemon

Yelp
One of the worst shopping centers. Parking management is terrible. There is literally no security directing traffic. People just stop and block traffic waiting for someone to get out of a parking spot that's close to the retail stores even though there are so many spots that are a little further. Just getting inside the mall property takes a long time bec people are blocking the way. I also know a couple of people whose cars got broken into, so clearly not a safe place to shop.
google avatar

Mari E.

Yelp
I like the layout of the shops. It's not like maze. Near the entrance, there is food court for variety dishes. From Union station: East side Bay 2, You can hop on a bus #600 managed by City of Commerce. This is not a direct shuttle bus between Union Station and Outlet Mall but useful. It's free!

Yelp
I love this place! I come here 3 times a year. Today I came strictly to shop for perfume!

Yelp
On this trip to Cali and Nevada we've been to more outlets than I can remember. I didn't know that there are so many outlets on the mainland. The Citaldel by far is the most gorgeous and most immaculate. Even their bathrooms were nice. This outlet is outdoors. The Citaldel is big. They have so many shops and eateries. Some of the stores that we went in were Coach, Nike, Adidas and Disney. I noticed that Coach was priced the same no matter which outlet we were at. However, Nike prices were a bit different depending on the outlet. This was the last outlet that we hit up before heading home. I had already purchased so much from the other outlets that I wasn't planning on getting anything. Adidas got me at this location. I almost made it out without buying anything. I walked in and spotted the bright pink Ivy Park Ultraboost right away. They only had one pair left in my size. Sigh! You know how the story ends.

Yelp
My wife and I have shopping at the Citadel Outlets for years foe clothes, shoes, and other things that the Citadel Outlets have in this big shopping center in East L.A. They also have a food court with well know restaurants and Ruby's restaurant it's a 50's theme restaurant.

Yelp
We stopped here a few days ago before leaving for Thanksgiving. Even that day, people were starting to buy early Christmas gifts before Black Friday. We did some shopping , and had some lunch there. Citadel Outlets have lots of shoppers here all year long. Zales, Starbucks , Spencers, and m,any more here at this outdoor mall. I have been coming here a very long time.

Yelp
Shopping in Los Angeles, California... We had some time between meals, so we decided to visit Citadel Outlets. I've passed by but had never stopped here. It's centrally located and maybe that's why it was so busy. The free parking is next to an office building. There were signs on the ground to warn customers to not park in certain stalls. We checked COACH, Nike, Kate Spade, Adidas, and other stores for deals. I was interested in the Disney Store and had to resist the Starbucks tumblers that were 30 percent off! Haha! We'll probably be back... Note: The spacious restrooms were decorated well... and had sitting rooms in them!

Yelp
place is crowded!! some of the sales are good. it really sucks having to wait in lines to go in stores. huge families are here bumping into everyone. took 30+ minutes to park. I prefer ontario mills over here
google avatar

Yelp
So many shops! Something for everyone. We definitely will be visiting again when in CA. Free parking in garage.
google avatar

Sukru K.

Yelp
They broke my car window in the parking lot of this shopping mall and stole my personal belongings. There is almost no security and it is not a safe place at all. I will never come again. I think you should stay away too.

Yelp
4.5 stars - We have been going to Citadel for many years and we always have a good experience. During Black Fridays, this place is packed! Parking is difficult so we stopped going. One year we ended up just leaving bc we couldn't find a parking spot. Since then, they've developed a nice big parking lot in the back that could accommodate a lot of cars. Yesterday, 8/17/24, my daughter's and I arrived early around 10:30 and there were plenty of parking. It was the first time we got prime parking spot. Also bc the mall opens at 10am. So arrive early to get a good parking spot. The mall is clean and the restrooms are also kept clean. They have a lot stores that cater to everyone: women, men, and children. They have Nike, H&M, Adidas, Banana Republic etc... my daughter was looking for jean shorts and she found some good deals at Aeropostal. At times, they offer additional discounts if you give your email address which really helps. They had great deals for back to school. The only reason I deducted a star is bc I wished they had restrooms in other areas throughout the mall. The food court offers great options as well. I Highly recommend this place. Arrive early to find parking.

Yelp
This outlet is very convenient to go to since it's not too far out in the deserts. The only problem is the amount of people that go here. Parking always is an issue. It's always crowded.
google avatar

Lori M.

Yelp
So many great deals! Got 20% off at the new Vuori store since it was the grand opening yesterday. Also, got some great deals at Lululemon. Best deals I have seen in a while.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place to roam around on the weekends. Th EG have disney outlets, H&M, Reebok, croc, champion, etc. This place has very beautiful indoor bathrooms that are usually positioned at the corners of the outlets. Some stores have lines if there's too many people wanting to go inside the store (Ex: Nike, New Balance, Kate Spade, etc.). There was also iHeart radio playing music by this enormous boombox. It's a great place for taking photos.
google avatar

Mary P.

Yelp
Such a great place for deals! Just be prepared to wait in line sometimes at more high end stores. I come here because there's so many great brands and styles and the staff at a lot of the stores are super nice! Love the atmosphere during the holidays with all the lights too.
google avatar

Kimberley S.

Yelp
Went to Citadel to pick up a gift for my boss, so off to coach I went. The lines were not long, I usually have to use valet because it's so crowded, but today I was able to get a parking space right in front of, nearby the Michael Kors Outlet. I really hate shopping so I was in and out pretty quickly.
google avatar

Jenny H.

Yelp
This outlet seems to always have a lot of ppl when I'm there. They have a decent amount of stores for everyone and food options ice cream and food court etc From my experience the staff at the stores I visited were very nice I got some shoes from the Reebok store. Thy have Lululemon, Disney, boss, RL , Kate spade , under armor, Nike, gap etc. a good variety of brands to shop at. Overall it's a nice place to walk and visit . And parking was decent and they do offer valet. I think the prices here are of good value since most stores seem to offer percentages off when I was there today on MLK Great experience.

Yelp
Dec 2022: Love the holidays & seeing pretty Christmas decorations! It was fun having a Girls' Day to catch up with a great friend of mine. We tend to go to The Citadel to look around at some point during the holidays, because the place is decorated in such a pretty way & of course, their is shopping! Parking: There is nearby valet, as well as plenty of parking! We went early on a weekday & the place was packed. Shopping: There are a variety of stores to shop, a few fun pop-up shops, including a popular name brand that have leggings that I own & love! I was definitely surprised to see this particular pop-up...while plentiful, the colors available were way too neon for me. Ha! Overall, I picked up an off-the-shoulder sweater dress, as well as a gorgeous jumpsuit/catsuit... from the moment I slipped it on, I had to have it, especially for NYE!! Food: Quite a selection! I usually have Mediterranean food from the food court. Although I had not eaten Chipotle in years, I was craving it! Who knew they had a Burrito Bowl w/Safritas, which was so delicious, spicy & also hit the spot! Yum! My friend and I sat at a tall table underneath a red umbrella, and had fun catching up, in between shopping!! Decorations: I love seeing the pretty decorations at The Citadel; pretty palm trees, all lit up & wrapped with pretty red bows, The Citadel itself has a building, which is wrapped as a gift & the tallest Christmas tree is always fun to see, as it's decorated and larger than life! Overall: The Citadel Outlet is simply a great way to see pretty decorations for the holidays, walk around, peek into the shops, and do a little shopping! Score!

Yelp
Nice to shop here sometimes good deals if shopping on the weekdays. Like the shops here

Yelp
Conveniently located off the I-5 freeway, this place offers a wide variety of stores, from high-end brands like Coach and Michael Kors to favorites like Nike and H&M. The discounts are amazing--I found designer shoes at half price and great deals on clothing. The unique castle-like architecture adds to the charm, making it more than just a shopping trip. With plenty of dining options and amenities, it's a perfect shopping destination!

Lena H.

Yelp
I really like going to outlet shopping i have been to many plces all outlet very safe. I never thought I would be pickpocketed.but I was pickpocketet at this citadel outlet. now I am very afraid feeling unsafe when I come here to shop when I reported that I was pickpocketed the staff working there and the security not help me at all they took me back and forth for 6 hours without any results.I was very disapponined they have lost trust hare Iadivise everyone who goes shopping at citadel outlet to be careful of your property anh it is better to go with many people.
google avatar

Michelle K.

Yelp
Citadel Outlets has grown so much over the years and is now a place that my family and I come to shop. There's such a wide variety of stores and tons of parking. Even the food court area has a good selection of eateries. It's very easy to get to since it's right off the 5 Freeway. Only thing is that it gets SUPER crowded during the holiday season, so if you're thinking to come here to holiday shop then I recommend doing early shopping otherwise it gets overly packed.
google avatar

Lynnelle E.

Yelp
This place is pretty big and has a huge selection of stores to choose from. There is a store for the whole family to choose from. All stores had sales going on and additional % off due to the 4th of July holiday. All stores were clean and organized. The staff was super helpful in telling you the sales going on and helping you find items you are looking for. At every corner, I felt there was always a place to get a snack or drink and a restroom nearby. They also had seating areas to take a break or wait for family and friends while they browse. There were a few stores that had lines to get in. I'm not sure if there was a new release or if they were just limiting how many people were shopping. It was super hot, but there were places to go to for shade or a store nearby for ac.
google avatar

Jonathan B.

Yelp
Awesome place to shop for the family! Great deals on my favorite brands as well as delicious ice cream to have with you while walking down the shops! Great service from all sellers never pushy or feeling of being rushed!
google avatar

Anton F.

Yelp
Have been here several times while shopping for family and friends on many occasions; holiday gifts, birthday treats, anniversary keepsakes and more. The Citadel Outlet is a sprawling outdoor shopping center that has several retail stores. With the architecture of a castle, it easily grabs your attention if you are traveling on the I-5 Freeway. You can purchase what you need at a cheaper price than the anchor store malls. Very easy to navigate

Yelp
I have lost money TWICE in their vending machines and went to the administrative offices to receive a refund I was given a name and number CHRIS FROM BEVCO who BLATANTLY ignored multiple verbal messages and texts I sent pictures of the item HANGING in the vending machine and obviously stuck the afministrative offices did NOTHING to move this issue forward BEYOND Chris DO NOT PUT YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY IN THEIR VENDING MACHINES I used to shop here frequently but now will never again and I tell my coworkers in a LARGE corporation that it is a scam

Yelp
We came to the outlets while going on spring break. Coming from Hawaii we don't have very many outlets and all our stores are very expensive. This was a 30 minute drive from Los Angeles (traffic) where I was visiting my mother. I have passed this outlet multiple times when I used to live in Los Angeles and when I have not - I would pass this on the way to Disneyland I was always curious what the outlets were like. There are way more outlets at this place than in Hawaii so we were excited to shop. There is a small food court that has the same quick food eateries that we have in Hawaii along with Chipotle which we don't have. Excited to go to Chipotle, my kid said my burrito is "throwing up" because it was that it was coming through the other end. Nonetheless it was delicious. There's also a Subway and Panda Express which we also have. There is a ton of parking although we came on a week day. I hear it gets crowded on the weekend.
google avatar

Maureen J.

Yelp
It's your average outlet with a lot of accessory stores. We just stopped by to visit the Cosmetics Company store, we looked around Nike and Under Armor. There is good value for items you might like that are on clearance. The bathrooms were clean and parking wasn't too bad.
google avatar

Yelp
I've visited Citadel Outlets a small handful of times. It's either a hit or miss kind of experience, typically resulting in me walking away empty handed. With that said, I enjoy the simple pleasures of roaming around, hoping for something to catch my eye. This outdoor mall offers a wide shopping experience with over 130 different stores to choose from. Stores range from Adidas, Nike, Crocs, Gap, Under Armour, Lacoste, Michael Kors, Movado, True Religion, and even Swarovski. As a forewarning, parking is pretty disastrous. I don't even wanna imagine what it's like here on Black Fridays. Just come with an open mind and a willingness to do quite a bit of walking and you should be fine. Last time I was visiting Citadel [pre Covid times], the food options were pretty mediocre. My guy and I make sure to simply come here for the shopping and would typically leave the vicinity whenever it came down to meals. A so-so food court isn't a deal breaker for us. 4/5 stars for the shopping experience overall. Just be mindful that this is an outdoor mall so depending on your visit you will need to either bundle up or come with with appropriate gear to shield yourself from Summer's scorching sun.

Maxwell S.

Yelp
Parking was a NIGHTMARE. We paid $10 to valet park, which was nice. But once we got our car back, on our way out they do not have a dedicated exit for valet so we sat in the parking lot for 41 minutes. About 20 minutes of sitting around watching the security/traffic guards talk to one another, I walked up to him (about 12 cars) and ask him to let our lane go. He had just been standing around letting one lane go and the rest of us sit so by the time I went up and asked him I had to use the restroom. What if someone got hurt? How would the ambulance and paramedics get there? Parking lot is a DISASTER waiting to happen.
google avatar

Marian G.

Yelp
This visit was not the blockbuster deal visited. I'm used to coming here and finding those awesome deals. There are plenty of stores. High end stores as well as less expensive. As I enter Each of the stores, I was greeted my the client advisors. Each of the clients advisories gave their name if I needed anything help. The stores a fully stocked with merchandise. Get there early to avoid the hassle of lines and searching for parking. Valet parking is also available. Parking is free in the lot as well as the structure. The food area has a variety of food to choose from. The eating area was clean. Happy shopping

Yelp
A shopping mecca right outside downtown LA. These outlets are easily accessible from downtown with a short hop down the 5. Be forewarned that parking on weekends can get crazy as the line backs up to even get into the outlet area, though once you navigate your way in and find a spot to park, a good selection of shops await. While I can say there is a good mix of higher end and athletic brands here, so mostly everyone can find a couple stores to shop at, I've yet to find any amazing deals in ages. Back when outlets were truly for overstocked merchandise and not a secondary location with merchandise created solely for the "outlet" as they are not. While there are a few exceptions to this, most stores just peddle 2nd rate items that don't quite have the quality of what is in major stores. Though I do appreciate having these outlets within an acceptable distance, even in traffic, versus having to trek at least an hour east or west to get to more outlets. A place worth stopping by if you're in LA and want to find specific brands or just looking for something that is not a traditional mall.

Yelp
Went here for some Black Friday shopping with the fam. We come almost every year lol. It wasn't packed this year which I liked. It was more packed last year. Some of the big stores have crazy lines just to look inside, but the lines move quickly. Super cold outside and nice and warm in most of the stores. One thing I wasn't a fan of was the fact that some of the deals at various stores were the same online... what was the purpose of shipping in-stores? Oh well. We'll continue to come just to look around anyways.
