Good views. Long walk with steps to get to the top where the museum entrance is. The museum is a $5 entrance fee, mostly artifacts with information boards. Appreciated the English and French information making it doable for tourists.

The maritime museum in Saint-Tropez is located on a hill with a beautiful view over the small harbor. A charming spot with interesting exhibits and a great perspective on the town's nautical history.

Amazing view of St.Tropez and surrounding coast not a lot of tourists even in August peka times, there's a naval museum with cool stuff, bit stuffy air. Make sure to take some water because there's a bit of a climb to a hill. There's also peacocks roaming about

Good place but more of walk involved as its on top of mountain. Entrance fee was 5 euro and view from top was amazing.

To be honest this is probably the best place to visit in Saint Tropez. You get a nice panoramic view of the entire Saint Tropez at just 5 euros, and you get to learn about the cool maritime history behind the town of Saint Tropez (before it became a touristy yacht town). There are peacocks too!

Such a wonderful museum and look out point. Full of great info on St Tropez and its rich maritime history. Beautiful views of many different harbors and pretty peacocks all around the grounds. Only 5 euro to get in in 2025.

If you visit Saint Tropez and you miss this spot then you have missed the best view!! Museum very nice, not expensive and if you have kids that are students, they offer discount. As soon as you finish the museam inside, take on your right and visit the tower.

Very well presented and quiet place to spend a couple of hours. I was lucky enough to get a lift from Port Grimaud to St. Tropez on a friend's Sunseeker, but there is a green ferry which makes travelling from St. Maxime or Port Grimaud easy. The Citadel is well kept, and there is a lot to see. From old(ish) history to modern exhibitions there is plenty to take in. The steps leading up to the Citadel look harder than they actually are, just take your time and you'll be rewarded with an amazing view before you know it. Close to the main town, it's easy to get to. From memory, entry was €5, which was a great price for the visit and the ticket office staff were very friendly.
