Citadines Apart'hotel Michel Hamburg

The hotel is well located and the rooms are adequately equipped. Unfortunately it is very dirty. Cobwebs, leftover food in the kitchen drawers, a burst glass bottle, i.e. broken glass, from other guests in the freezer. This is the second time we have stayed here in a year and the quality has clearly deteriorated. What a pity.

Perfect location for everything to be in reasonable walking distance.|Lovely modern rooms with free tea, coffee. Staff friendly and helpful. Overall a positive experience at this hotel. Best bits : safe free and easy to use, soundproofing cuts any road noise v good.

Elias at the reception has been fantastic. He addressed all my questions, helped me out on my trip and made sure i was very comfortable in the hotel. He went over and beyond. Elias should give a masterclass in customer service. Thanks Elias

We visited Hamburg to see the Christmas markets and chose to stay here as was close enough to the centre of Hamburg.||Nothing bad to say about this hotel. We never spent much time apart from sleeping. The rooms and hotel were overall clean. ||Would recommend this hotel to anybody who wants to visit Hamburg.

We were here on a lads break for a short weekend,apartments were spacious and clean, right in the middle of everything,coffee and tea were free all day,staff were polite and helpful,Would recommend for a weekend break,bring earplugs for the church bells

Brilliant hotel! Very polite staff on the desk. Nice rooms, with essentially a full kitchen. The hotel is in a good location. Easy access from the underground station. The best feature of the whole hotel has to be the coffee machine, in the lobby area is a coffee machine that dispenses all types of coffee, hot chocolate, tea etc. All for free! 24/7! It was getting used constantly by guests, other hotels take note! Going out? Grab a coffee! Coming back in from the cold? Grab a coffee. Mugs or takeaway cups available. If you can’t tell I really appreciated this machine! Also there’s a tap right next to it that dispenses sparkling water, which got me hooked, I never liked it previously. I will come back to this hotel when I return to Hamburg, 100%!

Visited with my family, and the apartment was perfect with a small kitchen including small table, 2 bathrooms, a bedroom and a couch doubling as a bed in the living room. Location is close to public transportation, but also restaurants. Staff is kind and helpful, and breakfast buffet is decent, but best in the weekend.

This place robs you blind, it's been several years since I was robbed from this location. I still have not heard from their "investigation team."

Caution! WARNING! MONEY STOLEN! THIEVES!! The staff stole our money, over $6000 from our rooms! We had a wedding party in Hamburg and decided to stay in this hotel. All of our money was stolen, from multiple rooms. The hotel never acknowledged the fact that their employees stole. They did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation. This hotel robbed us. Even the children's money, as little as it was, was all stolen. They spared no one! Don't come here, your money and valuables will not be safe, not in their rooms or the safe they provide. When we contacted the manager, he yelled at us and was extremely unprofessional. Proof that they stole: The hotel has keycards where they can check who entered our rooms. But the hotel refused to show us the key card log history. The manager said he will give the login history to the police, however he never did. They needed to cover for the staff that stole. Their reluctance to show the login history instead of cooperating was shocking. There are so many hotels in Hamburg, go somewhere else where your stuff will be safe and your trip will not be ruined. This is the worst hotel we all have ever been to. Citadines is a terrible hotel chain with thieves and horrible management.

To All Yelpers: *Do yourself a favor by AVOIDING THIS PLACE* While traveling in Germany, my family and I stayed at this hotel and it was the worst experience. The hotel staff did not care to provide any sort of customer satisfaction. Prime example: I witnessed the hotel staff willingly giving out key cards to rooms without even checking the customer's identification to see if they are on the reservation. They just asked for the room number and then gave the key. How could anyone feel comfortable, safe, or secure after witnessing this?! To make matters worse, valuables went missing from our room. At the very end of our stay, we met with the manager of the hotel, which left a lasting impression of disgust. The audacity he had to bypass our complaint, rather leads straight to blame. The "prime representative" of this hotel lacks the qualities and characteristics to even call themselves a manager. It would be believed that as a guest of a hotel, you should be treated as if you were VIP, or at the very least, you should be treated with decency and respect as a purchasing customer. Unfortunately, this was not the case at Citadines. After the treatment received at Citadines, I would never stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it, and in-fact I am warning future travelers to avoid this place.

Outstanding! My wife & I were just passing through but needed a place for the evening and we loved this little apartment style room. Would definitely stay again!
