Citadines is conveniently located, is a short ride from the airport, and Mascot train station. We found the hotel chic, clean and comfortable with spectacular views! They even have a viewing deck in the reception area. The in-room ironing facilities were most appreciated. It is within walking distance to a handful of eateries and also has an in-house restaurant should you not want to venture outside. My only suggestion for improvement would be the inclusion of additional shower amenities such as toothbrush or shower cap. We would absolutely choose to stay here again in the future.

This hotel is near to both domestic and international airports. They also have a shuttle to the airport as early as 5 am. for a fee of 15 dollars per person. It's quite pricey, but I think the shuttle is more reliable than the taxi, especially if your flight is in the morning. |The biggest issue about this hotel is the cleanliness of the toilet. The smell of urine at the toilet ruined the stay for us ( I suspect it's coming from the super dirty shower curtains). We did not highlight this to them anymore as its night time plus we have a 7am flight the following morning. And we had another issue earlier on before this. We were given a room where the toilet was not flushing and given a key to another room to use the toilet. I initially agreed to it but later had to settle to a different type of room because the toilet for using is quite far to our room. And thinking about it, it is also very inconvenient to go out of the room just to use the toilet. I believe there could have been better options or choices given. It wasn't a pleasant stay, especially since we only had to stay a night |

Room was basic and comfortable, had all that we needed. Parking on-site is $30, thought it would be included in tariff. Was charged twice, but this was rectified with an apology. Great access to airport. Bed comfortable. Air con, TV.

I stayed at this hotel after my holiday as I had to drop a friend to the domestic airport early the next morning. The location was really good. The man that served me was quite rude and appeared to be annoyed that I was there to check in and required his assistance (It was 11pm, but I cant check myself in can I).. The bathroom wasn't very clean. The tiles were gross and seemed to be mouldy. Im not too sure how often they actually scrub them. I definitely wouldn't rush back there.

Had to stay overnight last minute at the citadene as I became unwell in transit from South Africa and was unable to fly. Booking was easy, room was clean and comfortable, good pillows and great shower. The service was so good, the cafe had all I needed and they took good care of me. Simple but met all my needs. Highly recommend - and right next to domestic airport.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. One of the highlights was the amazing view-directly overlooking the airport runway, which was both unique and fascinating. They also offer a convenient third-party airport shuttle service for $15 per person. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone. A wonderful stay overal!

This works great for an overnight layover in Sydney. It’s a 5-minute ride from the airport, and offers comfort and convenience at a reasonable price. We had a few hours after arrival, so we stored our bags then jumped on the metro down to Elizabeth Quay, the Opera House, and a meal. This hotel worked out well for us.

One of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve had in a while. The woman making coffee seemed completely disengaged — barely acknowledged me, didn’t listen properly, and looked like she couldn’t care less about the job or the customers. I clearly asked for oat milk, and when I politely double-checked on pickup, she immediately denied I ever said it — no apology, no willingness to even consider she might have missed it. She did make the coffee, but the attitude and lack of basic attention made the whole experience feel like I was inconveniencing her just by ordering. If that’s the standard, I won’t be back.
